This was a well written story and while emotional, very compelling! The audiobook was well done and narration was good. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for giving met he chance to listen to this audiobook.

One of my favorite memoirs of the year. So well done. I really loved the narrators voice and style. It suited DT's voice as a writer. I've ordered a copy of this book for my library because patrons need to read this inspiring tale. I can't get over how much I loved this, and how far DT has come in the face of such tragedy and hardship.

Wow, what an incredible and inspiring memoir! I listened to the audio in 2 days. It was completely captivating! I laughed, I cried and I celebrated the victories. I highly recommend this book that comes out on July 4th, 2023!

A Patriot’s Promise is about fighting for survival, never giving up and keeping your promises. Israel Deltoro faced the worst case scenario when he was nearly killed during his tour in Afghanistan. His injuries were so severe, he spent months comatose in the hospital and was not expected to survive. Israel’s heart and determination along with support from his family and friends led him to take the actions necessary to return to an active lifestyle. Not only did Israel overcome the impossible, he became a motivational speaker and advocate for injured veterans and those with disabilities. Well done Israel! 👏🏻🥰
