I loved this book and the author. I did not want to put it down and I was sorry it ended. This book is about Georgianna who is trying to keep her sisters and her home. She loves to cook and decides to get work cooking/catering for rich people. She gets a job on a yacht to cater a birthday party for the Earl of Stannis’ mistress. Before the party is over, Georgianna gets fired and the Earl does not pay her for the money she is owed. A few days later, the Earl is found with no memory but when he sees Georgianna, he has a memory of kissing her, which then leads to Georgianna claiming he is her husband. Georgianna decides to make the Earl do things around her property to make up for the money he did not pay her.
This is where the fun and story really begin. I must be honest, I really liked both characters and I loved them together. I liked Georgianna’s sisters and Daniel’s Nana. I also must be honest; I don’t think I have ever read a book by Stacy Reid which I did not love.
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and I am leaving my honest opinion.

Take the movie Overboard, set it in Victorian England, swap the snooty heiress for a licentious earl and the handyman for a talented but impoverished chef, replace the misogyny with discussions about women's rights, and you have the absolutely lovely An Earl to Remember.

Georgianna has been hired to be the chef on a yacht party thrown by Lord Stannis, with the hopes that it will launch her catering career so she can adequately provide for her three younger sisters. After they are caught mistakenly kissing by his jealous mistress and she is booted off the boat without her full salary, she returns disappointed and anxious for the family's future. So when she learns that a mysterious man with no memory has washed up in their little town and then recognizes him as the man who kissed and then fired her, she claims him--Mr. Daniel Stannis--as her recently wed husband and brings him home. While he senses something amiss, he quickly falls into the rhythm of life in the sisters' dilapidated manor and begins to develop feelings he's sure he's never felt before for Georgie. She, too, finds herself falling in love, yet worries what will happen once he realizes that she is not the wife she claims to be.

The plot moves at a great pace, and it's clear to see why they would be falling in love with one another despite the strange circumstances. Once he inevitably regains his memory, it's wonderful to watch Daniel realize just how impossible it is unlodge her from his heart, even if she's not the society-suitable bride he figured he'd one day marry.

With each of her books, I become a bigger Stacy Reid fan. Pick this one up and you won't be disappointed.

thanks to net galley , for the arc, but honestly, I read her other books and I like them better than this one I just don’t like all the sluttiness of this book and sleeping around and all that but basically the character Daniel loses his memory and then eventually he regains it back. I also do not really like the heroine too much she was kind of careless I just didn’t like them together. The book was a bit boring but I’m glad I read it.

Mistaken identity, revenge, rich to poor man, this had a lot and was well executed. I loved seeing Stannis brought to a bit of revenge and getting his for being a jerk. His transformation was great, and his chemistry with Georgina was also really fun. Strong Overboard vibes which was super fun.

Well I enjoyed the story. The moments that I enjoyed the most are when Georgie puts herself in the difficult of situations which there by the tall dark and handsome Rake must rescue her. Isn’t that something?! While the two try to figure out this strange courtship they find themselves in they give in to that thing called passion. The stories narrative is easy to read therefore boosting the entertainment of the story.

I am a fan of Ms. Reid and usually devour her books in one sitting, but this one took me longer to get into. The writing was well-done as usual, but I didn't really connect with Georgianna Heywood as much as I'd like. Yes, she was a devoted big sister and took care of their little family as best she could, but her going off to be the chef for an earl's yacht party seemed a stretch for a young woman of her time where women's actions were scrutinized so harshly.

Daniel Rutherford, the Earl of Stannis, was a cold-hearted rake at heart. When he washes up on the shore of her little village with no memory of who he is, his character seems to pivot 180 degrees to a man who doesn't question the validity of Georgianna's claim that they're married. This ruthless and clever earl who has a head for investments and making money never thinks to question anyone or seek any information for weeks, doesn't seem to fit with his innate personality.

Daniel and Georgianna's growing affection is based on a lie, and I didn't like that she kept the secret from him for weeks. I did like the change in Daniel's personality as he comes to realize that there is more to life than money and debauchery. A life with a loving partner is worth everything. Georgianna's sisters added a bit of fun to the story, especially their chicken Hetty. That was quite funny.

While this is not a favorite story of mine, I look forward to reading more from Ms. Reid. She is a talented writer who can transport you into the story.

I want to mention that I read romance less than other genres and historical even less. And not because I have something with the genre, is just a lot of things in it don’t work for me.

So I won’t lie saying that I had mixed feelings going into this - I was excited cause it sounded like a fun and easy read, perfect for summer, but also I knew it might annoy me or even make me not finish it. But I did finish ‘An Earl to Remember’ and I liked it enough, even though there were some things that bothered me.

I wasn’t ok with them lying to each other or going behind their back, the whole amnesia thing, when they continued their sexual adventures even though nothing else was clear and a lot of lies and split desires were in the middle, just cause it was convenient or easier. Also the fact that after each forgave the other so easily and they barely argued or talked about it made me squint. Yes, is a romance, yea they love each other, but you still love that person so much if you discover they used you and manipulated you? Maybe manipulate is a strong word, but I don’t think sugarcoating this would be better.

I also couldn’t connect to any of the characters or feel any emotion while I read, which is important for me. And not because the writing is bad or the story is boring, but because the characters felt so… one dimensional? They could’ve been switched to others mid book and I wouldn’t have minded or noticed.

I feel like ‘An Earl to Remember’ is for you if you want something fast, not too much drama, you like lighter historical romances and not full of the bad tropes or ways in which women are treated, sometimes even by the main love interest. Regarding this the book was nice and I was happy that the earl saw her for what she was and appreciated her skills and strength; and didn’t see her as just a woman, which in some men’s eyes is like a lesser human.

‘An Earl to Remember’ could be the perfect book for you, whether you love historicals or romance in general, if you go in with an open mind and no expectations. Also some suspension of disbelief is to be present for a lot of the book, because seriously he believed her so easily? And then didn’t try at all to figure it out or ask more questions or talk to more people? How can you trust a stranger so much more or anyone just cause your mind tells you you could or you feel like. In his state I wouldn’t have, but I guess all goes in romance, right? And if he didn’t then we wouldn’t have the story.

Putting that aside, I really enjoyed myself with this one and I like the banter and the teasing and the spicy scenes, which were sexy, not too over the top, but hot enough. And if you don't roll your eyes and focus on the writing and the spice, and not on the logic or the plot, then is gonna be ok.

Firstly, I would like to thank Netgalley, the publisher, and Stacy Reid for this arc in exchange for my unbiased opinion.

I loved this book even more than the first book in the Unforgettable Love series. And I have to say this is absolutely my favorite Stacy Reid book ever, 5 stars for sure.

It gave me all the feels and was absolute candy to read, I couldn’t put it down.

An Earl to Remember is a fresh historical reverse-gendered overboard/amnesia fake relationship trope, with a reformed rake and a lovely female chef who works tirelessly to take care of her family.

I had so much fun and loved reading Daniel Rutherford, Earl of Stannis, and Miss Georgianna Heyford’s banter, their revenge, flirting, and mishaps in falling in love. The chemistry is oh so steamy and it totally got me when Daniel’s cured of his amnesia and saucily still calls Georgianna his WIFE all the time! It was everything you want from a great historical romance and makes me hope that Stacy will write a 3rd book in this series about Montcliff!!

A typical Stacy Reid romance. You can expect all the feels that come from reading a Stacy Reid book. A lovely read for a weekend.

Stacey Reid does it again! Anything she writes, I will read. This is one author whose books I can't wait to read when they are released. The premise is of a rogue Earl losing his memory and being tricked into believing he was married to a woman (just a commoner!) who he had wronged before his accident. We watch them together before he recovers his memory, but I'm also glad we got quite a bit of time with them navigating their feelings once his memory returned. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, though in the scale of Stacey Reid, it wasn't my favorite. Still an easy 5 stars.

I love the movie Overboard, so this was right up my alley. I loved how the Overboard story was flipped here, with the man the one without the memory, much the re-make. Georgina was so sweet, kind, and feisty all the good things and I loved her developing relationship with Daniel. The sisters were great too, although I wish his amazing Nana had had a bigger role. Gotta love a fiery Grandma! This was a well crafted story I enjoyed and I know I will be re-reading it again and again.

“Your pleasure is mine to satiate tonight, so tell me what you want, and I promise it will be yours."

"Why do I find your fieriness so appealing?"

I should have known I would have loved this book!!!!! After reading “A Matter of Temptation” I fell so in love with this series that I just knew I would have loved this one too!!!! And I was right !!!!! When Georgianna gets a job as a cool for the dashing rake Lord Daniel Stannis, the least she was expecting was to feel an incredible attraction towards this man that Alamogordo leads her into his bad … and then to pretend to be her wife because he is suddenly suffering from amnesia!!!! Forced proximity and fake marriage are the main tropes in this regency romance book and despite me not being a true fan of the amnesia trope … I loved every second of reading it in this story !!!! When they romance gets deeper and undeniable … will she be able to reveal the truth to him?? Even when feelings are emerging?? Spicy, intriguing and very very romantic, Daniel and Georgie’s story was absolutely amazing and just like in book one I found myself enthralled by their banter and dynamics. She is such a strong and resilient young woman, trying to take care of her sisters in the best way she can. And he … he will find himself in love with her strength. So so good!!!!!! And the way he talks to her … that wretched rake knows how to use his words !!!! I can’t wait to read another book in this series !!!!

"Do I not tell you how soft and sensual your skin is to the touch, how much I ache to kiss this lush mouth of yours, lick the pulse that is fluttering madly as we speak at your throat?"

“Let me simply be a passerby in your memory.”

"I can feel you whenever you are near. It is as if something invisible ripples over my skin."

I want to preface this by saying; I am an absolute fan of Stacy Reid and her writing. I recommend her books whenever possible. I've read about 10-15 of her backlog and loved each and every one... until now. It pains me to say this but this book was an absolute slog for me. I had such a hard time getting into it. I didn't like the hero or heroine and didn't feel like they had any real chemistry. The relationship never felt fully formed.

The way they meet in the beginning was icky to me. I am not prudish in any capacity but the way he forces a kiss on her and was so cold immediately turned me off to him. I also had a hard time with Georgie's reasonings for lying. Don't get me wrong; Overboard was a favorite movie of mine as a kid/tween. I've seen it dozens of times and totally understand why the plot was going the way it was but it just didn't translate the same way the movie did for me.

Stacy Reid went full banana on this one and normally I would completely appreciate it. In the end, it didn't work for me. This may be a case of wrong reader for this book since the amnesia trope isn't a favorite of mine. I'll continue to pick up Reid's books in the future but for now I can't see myself ever going back to this one.

Thank you to Entangled Publishing and NetGalley for this eARC. All opinions expressed are my own.

I love an Overboard!

This book is for sure reads like a fairytale. Like other books by Stacy Reid sometimes you have to suspend reality and just go with it, and as long as that is your mindset going in you're going to have a great time reading this book.

The hero has a lot of flaws but the author does a great job of showing you he's a good person deep down. The heroine is strong and capable

The story went a different direction once the hero regains his memory but I liked that it makes it less predictable.

Overall a great edition to the series and I can't wait to see what comes next

I recieved a free copy from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was a little hesitant with this book because of the description. It was very reminiscent of the movie Overboard with Goldie Hawn ( or the moreso the remake since the one with amnesia is a man), but Stacy Reid did not disappoint.

Georgianna is determined to become a chef so that she can care for her 3 sisters and keep their family home. However, she is fired her first night for something she didn't do,so when the Earl washes up on her shores she is determined to get her revenge and recuperate the money she was denied.

I really liked Daniel after he got amnesia and I liked Georgianna and her sisters. Daniel was my favorite though. His hardwork around the estate, his growing feelings for georgianna, his brotherly love towards her sisters.

Daniel had the chance to grow and by the first few days of his amnesia I wanted him to stay forever.

The ending didn't disappoint. 5 stars

An Earl To Remember by Stacy Reid is such a wonderful read. The book got a little heart fluttering sweet romance, hot steamy love making scenes, a little bit of angst and suspense, tears from heart broken, a great supporting characters and a beautiful epilogue.

Georgie are determined to seek for revenge after getting fired by Daniel. The opportunity arise when Daniel lost his memory after fallen from his yatch by making Daniel works off the money he owes her as her fake husband.

This book got everything I'll ever wanted, the sweetness in romance, the hot steamy scenes and the heart wrenching sad moment which make me wet my pillow from all the tears. I'll definitely be reading more from Stacy Reid and I'm looking forward to read the next story.

An easy 5 out of 5 stars.

Ok nothing will top "A Scoundrel of Her Own" because it really is just perfection, but this book is now easily my second favourite of Stacy Reid's!!! It was by far her steamiest and like the amount of horny pining going on between the couple was incredible. And like Daniel asking Georgianna in like chapter 1 or 2 if she liked to be chased I was like OKGMNHFUIDKFJNH why is that so delicious. I loved the interactions with him and her sisters and just how much Daniel wanted to take care of her and her sisters (because they are important to her) in his own grumbly way.

I could have done without the detailed description of a pork cuisine at one point, but that is just me because I do not eat pork, so when I buy the physical copy, I will be crossing that out on the page haha.

So yes, I will definitely be purchasing this book when it is published! Gotta have a relationship as delicious as Daniel/Georgianna's on my shelves!!!!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Funny. Charming. Sexy. Smart.

I cannot give enough praise to An Earl to Remember. The main character Georgianna is a strong willed woman who cares for her sisters after the death of their parents. Her passion for cooking allows her to be given a job as a chef for three nights on the Earl’s yacht.

Daniel is an earl and all-around drool worthy character. He is sharp and thorny - which happens to be the way I like my book boyfriends. There is more to the playboy earl than the world knows him as.

What happens when these two meet and amnesia strikes?

Well. You’ll have to read it to find out

I could not put this book down! I loved the chemistry between Daniel and Georgie which made this story much better than some cheesy romance. This is the first book I read by Stacy Reid, and now I’m determined to go find the rest of her books and read them right way. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read this love story!

I've only just discovered Stacy Reid this year and this is my third book of hers that I've read. Her books grip me on such a deep, emotional level. I grow so attached to the stories and it turns me into a feral reader. An Earl to Remember ranks the lowest for me, but it isn't bad by any means. Her previous books just happened to ensnare me with a greater ferocity. I believe An Earl to Remember was an homage to the film Overboard, and perhaps I would have enjoyed this book more if I had actually seen the movie it was referencing. It also predominantly featured the heroine's younger sisters and I don't care for children in romance novels. It's simply preferential and I know other readers go ape for kiddies in fiction.

An Earl to Remember had a fun plot featuring fake marriage, amnesia, and falling overboard. Before the hero lost his memory, he was a gross pig. He was sexist and rude to the heroine. I suppose bonking his head on a luxury yacht reverted his factory setting of being a decent human being. He said "alright, bet" to his supposed marriage to the heroine and helped spruce up her quaint family farm. An Earl to Remember had plenty of romantic moments, both spicy and mild. They had a sweet dynamic, but as a reader I knew his memory loss wouldn't last forever. It was a nice romance, but it paled in comparison to the previous installment. My favorite part was the cameo of Simon and Mina from A Matter of Temptation. Those two were major couple goals, ice cream sessions and all.

An Earl to Remember featured an unexpected romance and utilized the oft-forgotten amnesia trope. It was a welcome plot point considering most stories these days just rinse, wash, repeat the dreaded miscommunication routine. I can't wait to read more from Stacy Reid and see what other stories she has to tell in the Unforgettable Love series. Although this was a romance centered around memory loss, Stacy Reid has certainly created An Earl to Remember.
