I love this book and read this one in one sitting and even stayed up reading through the night. It was so beautifully written and I loved all the characters in the story. Initially, when I read about the interaction between Daniel, Earl of Stannis, and Georgianna Heyford, I didn’t think the story would go in the direction that it did. The plot twist was quite a surprise and I loved the story even more after that. It was interesting how Daniel’s thoughts changed later on in the story and my heart was breaking a little for how he treated Georgianna. I loved how the book ended and would absolutely recommend it. This is book two in the Unforgettable Love series but can be read as a standalone.

Thank you, NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.

It's an interesting, fun, and hot historical romance novel that will make you smile at the sweetness and cringe at the awkwardness sometimes. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and would recommend it to all romance lovers. Though the story mostly flows beautifully, there are some boring parts in the middle, which make it feel dragged. Otherwise, it's a perfect read for a summer afternoon.

Georgie is trying to run a household and raise her sisters well. It's not easy and she needs more jobs as a chef. Her cooking is not the problem, because it is superb, but the problem is that she doesn't have any connections. And right now, she really needs word of mouth to keep getting catering jobs. So, when she receives a job offer of a lifetime, which will pay well and open future doors for her, she has to accept. Things didn't go as planned and now, she has been fired without her full pay and no hope of a recommendation. When a chance of getting revenge comes along, who is she to deny herself the pleasure?

Daniel has no memory of who he is or where he comes from. So, when a beautiful young woman claims to be his wife, who is he to disagree? Spending his days performing chores, helping his wife, and getting to know his sisters-in-law seems too good to be true. Even if his memories never return, he can fall in love with his charming wife all over again.

Neither realizes that when it comes to the matter of hearts, we rarely have any control.

This book was so fun, wildly clever, and just so feel good. I could feel myself smiling as I read and could feel the emotions in my gut when things weren't going well. I could have survived with a little less graphic sex, but overall I enjoyed the read. Thank you #NetGalley for the ARC copy of An Earl to Remember.

Thanks to Net Gally and Entangled Publishing I was able to secure an ARC of An Earl to Remember by Stacy Reid. This is a Historical Romance, fake romance reminiscent of the 80’s movie, Overboard. This book was indeed a fun romp filled with humorous dialogue, a main couple with banter galore, full of wonderful characters including a hen! Daniel and Georgianna were a delight to read. Their chemistry was palpable and made this story impossible to put down. The scenes between Daniel and Georgianna’s family were the most enjoyable, including a run in Daniel had with Hetty, the hen. I laughed out loud during the entire scene. I gave this book 4.5 Stars due to a certain character’s resolution…I needed them to suffer! Is that petty, probably but they deserved more than what they got! I loved this book, Stacy Reid continues to write wonderful characters and exciting stories. The steam was top notch and the pace was good. This is book two in the Unforgettable Love series and I need to read book 1 immediately. I think I know who’s story is book 3, and I will need that story too, the mention of their story in the epilogue caught my attention! Definitely a book worth re-reading.

Georgianna has been hired to be the chef on a yacht party and the funds she will earn will help save her and her sisters from starving over the winter, however after the Earl(Daniel) who hired her for his mistresses' birthday party mistakes her for one of the ladies his mistress was going to bring him that evening things go badly and she is fired the next day by his jealous lover.
After feeling badly for firing the young lady Daniel is thinking on deck when he and his mistress have an argument and she shoves him and he falls overboard hitting his head, when he wakes up not knowing who or where he is he recognizes Georgie and blurts out that he remembers her being in his bed in front of the town gossips so she claims they are married and things get angstier from there.
This was a really fun but intense read, there are a number of questionable choices made by our MC's and this was alternately sweet and sour but if you enjoyed the movie Overboard this is less romcom and more angst but really entertaining.

Such a fun take on an Overboard retelling!

Georgianna Heyford is doing everything in her power to keep her family's head above water in their reduced circumstances. An opportunity for a much-needed influx of cash arises. Georgianna will use her culinary skills to become a weekend chef for a private yacht party. When an unfortunate encounter with Daniel, the Earl of Stannis leads her to be fired, Georgianna returns home empty-handed.

Until... Daniel washes up on shore with no memory of who he is, but he recognizes Georgianna.

In an attempt to save her reputation, Georgianna claims that they are married and brings the pampered Earl back to her crumbling manor home, putting him to work immediately. I really loved seeing Daniel take on the manor as a project, with the zeal and head for business that reflects his forgotten life. The interactions with the younger Heyford girls were very sweet and allowed for a much-needed softening of his character.

I empathized with Georgianna's dilemma. On the one hand, she was drowning, and this life raft appears after a disastrous attempt to make money for the family. Then, she struggles with deceiving Daniel when she knows he has family who are probably searching for him.

Though I enjoyed their romance once Daniel lost his memory, I struggled with the opening scene of the yacht party that introduces Daniel. He came across as particularly unlikeable, and the circumstances leading to Georgianna getting fired were a bit too forced and convoluted. The resolution of Daniel's lost memory and Georgianna's lies felt organic, but a small conflict was thrown in at the tail end that felt completely unnecessary.

Georgianna is responsible for the care of herself and three younger sisters. When she gets an offer to cook for an earl, Daniel, and his debauched friends for his three day yacht party she accepts. The earl’s mistress becomes jealous of her beauty and demands she be dismissed and she is let go with hardly any of the pay she was promised. When the earl washes up on the shores of her town with amnesia, Georgianna declares he is her husband and brings him home to her humble cottage. She plans to have him work around the house to make up for the money she was owed. They did not plan on their very strong mutual attraction. I received an ARC from NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for my honest review.

I liked the premises of this story but early on I knew it wasn't going to work for me and DNF at 20 percent. Thank you netgalley and publisher's for allowing chance to read and review.

I have absolutely mad respect for our girl Georgie because she saw an opportunity to get her little revenge and she grabbed it and put that annoying man to work! Also you don't call me plain to my face and expect nothing, go work it off husband!

It was so funny to see Daniel that even without having his memories was an absolute wretch at the beginning like he knew he came from consequence, but our girl Georgie humbled him very fast. I like the little family in the mannor especially the two little girls!
I feel like Daniel totally deserved this little interlude in the countryside to actully be less annoying because I don't think I would have liked him for the whole book if he hadn't been pushed down the yatch and lost his memories.

Teasing and flirting is always super cute and makes for good banter because these libertines always get their way! Georgie tried very hard thought, but you just can't stay away from such a man especially when he is being so very helpful around the house.

He was such a PATHETIC MESS of course because which mmc in a historical romance isn't a little when they figure out they are In Love and Stacy Reid has an incredible way with words when it comes to yearning and longing. I think her motto might just be if it isn't insane and unhinged we don't like it and I respect that!
I was truly done for when he called her beloved, like screaming crying throwing up.

I wonder if we will see a book on the Marquess of Moncriff next!

An Earl To Remember is a historical romance twist on an 80's classic movie, and is the 2nd book in the Unforgettable Love series.
The story follows Daniel, an arrogant, entitled Earl who lost his memory after falling overboard this yatch, and Georgianna, the up and coming chef, charged with caring for her sisters, who pretended to be his wife to protect her reputation, as well as to take revenge on him for unfairly firing her.

These two had such amazing chemistry. I loved their banter and although they were a bit flawed, I was pulled into their story and rooting to them throughout the book. I loved seeing Daniel take care of Georgie and loved seeing his character development and how he and Georgie slowly started falling for each other, as the story progressed.
I also loved the bond Daniel developed with Georgie's sister and the shenanigans with Hettie the Hen and Matilda the cow had me highly amused.
This novel was a fun, humorous, spicy tale and another fantastic tale from this author. I loved everything about it, and would highly recommend it to lovers of historical romance.

I really enjoyed this story! I mostly love how Stacy Reid takes me through this emotional rollercoaster where my gut clenches, I tear up and I am feeling the love and yearning along with the MC!! I feel so closely bonded to the happiness of the leads as if they were real. Daniel is definitely an earl I'll remember! The whole story will be a hard one to forget. Stacy Reid never disappoints me with her racy dialogue, steamy open-door scenes, wonderfully brooding male leads and endearing secondary characters. When Georgianna Heywood takes a job as a caterer for a party on Daniel, the Earl of Stannis' yacht to support her three sisters, she has no idea she has just met her aggravatingly attractive match. Daniel the Earl of Stannis has invited his mistress and friends to a lavish yacht party but finds everything boring and empty until he spies a mysterious brunette he is curiously drawn to. After being caught trying to seduce Georgiana, his mistress demands he fire Georgiana and not pay her the full amount for her services. Then, Daniel is pushed overboard and left to drown. Lucky for Georgiana, he washes up in her hometown with no memory. The only thing he remembers clearly is compromising her. To avoid scandal, Georgie claims this is because they are married and packs the pompous Earl off home to her crumbling manor house to do some chores to work off the money he owes her. It was a treat watching him change from a self-centered snob into a man who thought of his family first. I loved how he fell in love with Georgie and her sisters and stood up for them all. The scenes were so endearing and swoony. The care and consideration Daniel and Georgie had for each other. The cooking, the massaging, the horse, etc.. I was dreading him getting his memory back, but also couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see how these two would achieve their happily ever after. Yes, it's part of a series, but totally stands alone.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinions about this book and that is just what you got! Now trust me and read it! A wonderfully emotional romantic story with strong characters, that is hard to put down. I received an ARC from Netgalley and leaving my review voluntarily.

The gender-reversed steamy historical take on the classic rom-com "Overboard" I never knew I always wanted. Daniel is definitely an earl I'll remember! The whole story will be a hard one to forget.

Stacy Reid never disappoints me with her racy dialogue, steamy open-door scenes, wonderfully brooding male leads and endearing secondary characters. Not since Goldie & Kurt has star-crossed passion and revenge been so fun.

This is a treat and I even like it more than the 1987 classic film with roughly the same plot. Yes, it's part of a series, but totally stands alone. There are several steamy scenes - Stacey never leaves her readers unsatisfied or disappointed and that's why she's an auto-read for me!

Georgiana Heyford, needing to provide for her sisters, gets a job as chef on a yacht owned by the Earl of Stannis. His mistress gets jealous when he casts his gaze at the lovely cook, and she insists he fire the woman. Georgiana leaves in dismay, wondering how she’ll manage to keep the farm where her family lives. Meanwhile, the earl accidentally falls overboard. He washes ashore near Georgiana’s town and suffers amnesia. Bent on revenge, she claims him as her husband. Misadventures follow as he attempts to do his wife’s bidding and they end up falling for each other. If you like amnesia and fake marriage stories, you’ll love this one. Sexy and sensual with a touch of humor and suspense, this story has characters reminiscent of Jane Austen. It's a deliciously escapist read!

Every time I get a chance to read ANYTHING by this author, I rush to get it ASAP! I really enjoyed this story! I absolutely love the play on the movie Overboard yet regency style!!! I mostly love how Stacy Reid takes me through this emotional rollercoaster where my gut clenches, I tear up and I am feeling the love and yearning along with the MC!! I feel so closely bonded to the happiness of the leads as if they were real.
I know that some people don’t like too much heat or too many graphic sex scenes but I am not one of them.. lol with that said, Ms Reid does a great job being descriptive and exciting without going too far, she always does.
There are just a very few grammatical errors but not enough to hinder my reading experience.
If you are on the fence, get off of it and read this and everything by this author!

I loved the premise of An Earl to Remember. It sounded so amazing. I loved the beginning of it until the lies began then my enjoyment fled. I love this author's work but this one did not work for me. I DNFed at 28%.

Thank you to NetGalley, Stacy Reid, and Entangled Publishing for this eARC.

I have to say, I did have to power through this book. But I don’t think that’s necessarily the book’s fault – that’s just me and my intense dislike of insta-lust and love. Once I got over that, I definitely enjoyed it more. (But it still drove me batty that Georgianna was so adamant that she would not fall for a rake’s charms and then immediately does and continually does so, putting her life, reputation, career, and family at risk.)

I really loved that Georgianna is a chef. I loved the foods, recipes, and their places of origin that were described in detail. I also immensely enjoyed Georgianna’s sisters and their relationship with Georgianna and Daniel. I also enjoyed the aspect of Daniel having to work hard. I also liked that he came to his senses… eventually and realized what a nincompoop he was being.

It sort of read like Julia Quinn’s “An Offer From a Gentleman” where Benedict wants to have Sophie in his life but only offers her to be his mistress… like what a bampot. Daniel also radiated high bampot vibes.

So, did I enjoy the book? I suppose. Do I think others will? Absolutely. I think this just came down to being a more me-specific thing. I found the author’s prose nice, the descriptions full, the humor was present, and the relationships with others decently deep. I would definitely pick up another book by Reid, that’s for sure. So, I think it’s a positive.

For me, I’m giving it 4 stars because I think that’s what other people will likely rate it (if they like certain tropes, like insta-lust). But for me, it’s a 3-star read.

Really enjoyed this book. I’ll be honest and say it took a little bit to get into, at first, but I pushed through. So if you get a little frustrated at the beginning, just hold on. You won’t be disappointed.

She was able to bring him down a peg or two, where he learned to meet his deeper and better side, living amidst a family full of love and caring without society’s hypocrisy. But his world called him back and he almost lost what matters the most. A wonderfully emotional romantic story with strong characters, that is hard to put down.

Revenge is sweet until it all starts to unravel. This is a very entertaining 'amnesia' trope love story. I liked Georgie and Daniel, both are set in their ways but they match each other perfectly until Daniel regains his memory and they need to discover what's left. Is their love real? A great journey to love of belonging and finding where your heart wants to be.

Thanks to Entangled Publishing, Netgalley and the author for an ARC of this book. I am leaving this unbiased review voluntarily.

I am absolutely loving this historical romance series. In this one, Daniel is an Earl and a bad boy and definitely not looking for a long-term relationship. Georgiana is honourable, broke and a particularly talented cook. Their first meeting doesn't go that well but when he washes up on the beach near her house we a plunged into a sweet 'Overboard' type scenario where the two enemies start to like each other.

These two lit up the page. I loved Georgie's sisters as well - cute. And this doesn't end the way I thought it would - I mean it's still a happy ending but it's not the one I expected.

A funny and heart-warming steamy historical romance. Can't wait for more.
