This was a useful book to read. Grieve and Miller covered a number of highly valuable strategies for leading high-performing teams. You could tell that they are experts in the area, and have drawn on years of experience and research when writing this book.
Short enough so as to not be overwhelming, but packed full of detail and things to consider, learn, unlearn and apply, this book provides key insights that will help all levels of team thrive.
this was excellent and timely read, we are looking to put some of these practices into use, and it was informative seeing them described from a different standpoint
The book has a good focus on building high performance teams and drills down into components that support such a team structure: reason, results, routine, relationships and resilience. There are some good case studies throughout the book. Separate chapter focused on leader and the role of a leader. There is some information on team types like matrix and project based ones. Overall the book has a good theoretical and some practical background.
