I knew I shouldn't have requested this advance read. What kind of a grinch am I that I cannot enjoy a Christmas book? I think the problem lies with me and not the book, because those religious books that I do like are very few and far between. (And I am a religious person.) DId I just find it preachy? Asking me to think of things when I just wanted to read?
