Emotional ride! Lucian's and Sloane's bickering and banter throughout really built up the tension. Mystery, romance, and meaningful relationships threaded into a well written story line.

Ugh I love Lucian and Sloane so much.
First- I loved the chapter names, just like previous books in this series. I did find that the crime aspect to this book was better than the other ones.
Second- I LOVE Lucian. I loved him as a book boyfriend before I even knew their story, but I love him even more now.

This book is easily my favorite in the series and if you’ve read the other books, read this immediately! The size is intimidating, but the story is never boring! I laughed numerous times, but definitely cried more

A special thanks to NetGalley for an advance copy! This review may have some spoilers!
Returning to the Knockemout series was like getting a bear hug from a friend you haven't seen in a very long time. The build-up from the first two books into this book was well worth it. Even though the first two books focused on the two other couples, Knox and Naomi and then Nash and Lina, we still saw glimpses of Lucian and Sloane interacting in the background which of course made everyone speculate what was going on and if they had a secret history. I also thoroughly enjoyed how the main "bad guy" was featured throughout the three books and finally got the justice they deserved. Like Lucy Score's Blue Moon Series, I loved seeing all of the characters from the past books still living their "happily ever after", the usual shenanigans in Knockemout, colorful characters, and a community that does help one another. I'm sad to see the series end but it is one of my favorite series to recommend <3

Like always Lucy Score does not disappoint! The final book in the Knockemout trilogy. I loved this one as much as the other two. This time we follow Sloane, the local librarian, who is on a search for a family-worthy husband. This book hilarious, romantic and sexy. The epitome of what your looking for might be right in front of you all along. A page turner! Definitley worth the read.

Sad that this is the end of knockemout- had me laughing, tearing up, full blown wanting to cry at points. Can’t wait to read what else Lucy Score has in store for us. Thanks to Netgalley, Bloom Books & Lucy Score for the chance to read this.

Sloane & Lucien may be my favorite couple in this series! I absolutely LOVED their banter & the friends to enemies to lovers vibes we had going on throughout the entire series! The build-up was INCREDIBLE. And the spice was so freaking good omg.
The plot started to fall flat for me once Sloane & Lucien started hooking up. But it felt like we got so much character development for both of them in place of the plot, which made up for it a lot in my opinion. The suspenseful elements seemed to get a little out of hand how we had like three major occurrences in the last like 25% of the book or so. The end did feel a little rushed because it had to wrap up the craziness of the suspense elements, Sloane and Lucien's relationship, AND the series as a whole.
I loved Sloane & Lucien's history and development so much that it really over-ruled a lot of the things I didn't necessarily love about this book.
Thank you to Lucy Score, Sourcebooks, and NetGalley for sending me an early copy!

The final book in the Knockemout trilogy. I loved this one as much as the other two. This time we follow Sloane, the local librarian, who is on a search for a family-worthy husband. This was a hilarious rom-com that shows sometimes what you have always been looking for is right in front of you.

What a perfect ending to this trilogy. The romance, the spice, the banter, the characters. I just love Knockemout and everyone who resides there. Lucy Score did such a great job with this trilogy. I swooned through this entire book and read it in 24 hours because it was that good. What can I say, I'm also partial to a librarian lead!

I’m not sobbing, you’re sobbing! Oh, wait… no, it’s actually me.
After reading the first two books in the Knockemout series, I couldn’t wait to read Lucian and Sloane’s story. Even though I love all of our Knockemout found family, these two enemies had my heart from the jump so my expectations were high.
I am so happy to say that Lucy freaking nailed it. The tension between the two MCs was palpable and the epilogues (yes, plural!) were absolute perfection. I’m usually very critical of a series ending, but the conclusion of Things We Left Behind was incredibly satisfying.
I love how strong Sloane is. She takes zero sh*t from anyone and is fiercely protective of those she loves - and one man that she loves to hate. At times this also drove me crazy, but I think that’s a sign of great writing.
I will also accept descriptions of Lucian in a tux all day long. #SuitDaddy
If you haven’t started this series, I highly recommend!
Thank you to NetGalley, Bloom Books and Lucy Score for an advanced copy. These are my honest thoughts.

This book did not disappoint. I felt it was the strongest one in the series. The epilogue and extended epilogue were like a present to readers who have read the whole series.
4 stars

For a series wrap-up, this couldn't have been better, especially the epilogues. I really enjoyed the dynamic of Lucian and Sloane and felt the tension all the way through this book. The spice was amazing and the story threading through from Nash's book was well incorporated into the love story and not just slapped together at the end like a lot of romance novels can do. This series has made me a faithful Lucy Score reader!

Is this the best Lucy Score book to ever exist? Possibly! The build up, the tension, the delightful small town with compelling side characters -- I'll be rereading this book several times!

Absolutely my favorite in this series, and I think my favorite by Lucy Score! I absolutely adored Lucian and Sloane's story. The spice was on point, the enemies to lovers was perfect, and the real-life stuff had me in tears at points! Loved it!

RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5
SPICE: 🔥🔥🔥
I haven't been to Knockemout in a hot minute, and Lucian Rollins and Sloane Walton are already causing some spicy chaos.
These two small-town natives have known each other for a long time, but as far as those who lived in town all the while knew that something happened to cause them to be mortal enemies. When I say mortal enemies, I mean angry glares and constant bickering. No one but they know what that something is, and neither one is eager to disclose it.
Surrounded by couples completely enamored with each other, Sloane was ready to have her own love story. Unfortunately, that path leads to dating apps and shady matches. News of Sloane's shaky attempts at dating leaves an unpleasant taste in Lucian's mouth, and he has convinced himself that it is platonic concern for the librarian and not envy. But when his jealousy gets the better of them, it leads to a secret fling that unearths the suppressed memories they shared of their childhood.
I loved Book 1 of this series. Unfortunately, thanks to my ever-growing TBR, I did not get a chance to read Book 2, so that is the context of my review. I really enjoyed this read. I thought the connection between Lucian and Sloane had this fun enemies-to-lovers dynamic that somehow brings out the petty in them (and petty happens to be my favorite color). Lucy Score brings a good blend of romance, comedy, and suspense to this book, and I would be remiss to not mention how hot the spice is. Antagonistic Lucian sure isn't as distant and cold when it comes to the bedroom, and I am here for it.
What I have loved about Lucy Score books is the charisma of the ensemble cast, and this book is no exception. Couples from the previous reads are heavily integrated into the read, but Score gives newbies enough context for this to work as a standalone.
This is the end of the series, and it is a bittersweet farewell from Knockemout. I will definitely be bumping up Book 2 in my queue to revisit one of my favorite small towns again.
** I am voluntarily reviewing an advance copy of this book. Thank you to Lucy Score, Bloom Books, and NetGalley for providing an ARC. **

I devoured the first 2 books while on vacation this summer. And I loved this series so much. So imagine my happiness when I got approved for an ARC from Netgalley. I devoured this 6 star story in no time. I knew Sloane and Lucian’s story would be entertaining and addictive. I was not disappointed in the least.
Sloane and Lucian share a past full of secrets, only they know what happened. So they love to hate each other. Or they hate that they love each other????
This story was a long one but I still didn’t have enough. It went from the present to the past. The past needed to be told in order to understand the present. The bantering was quite funny at times. And there was a lot of it too. The sparks would fly when they were in each others company. I can’t give it enough praise for this series of 3 books. Bottomline they are a must read.
I would Strongly recommend all 3 be read in order, because they deal with 3 couples that all play roles in all 3 books. Told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.

3.5 stars
Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
Lucian is a brooding, suit-wearing force to be reckoned with. No one can rattle him, except for one spirited librarian with whom he shares a complicated history. In the final installment of the Knockemout series, we finally learn the reason why Lucian and Sloane are incapable of being together, but can’t seem to stay apart.
Lucian and Sloane were the perfect couple to close out the Knockemout series. With all of the tension that Lucy Score built up throughout the first two books, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one, and I was not disappointed. What I loved about this book was that it was predictable but still maintained an element of suspense. Knockemout is still the small town of dreams and the friend group that we have all come to know so well is still the sweetest found family, but there is much more to Sloan and Lucian’s relationship than meets the eye. My only complaint about this book is that the banter between friends gets repetitive at times. Otherwise, it was a lovely ending to a heartwarming series.

In the 3rd book of the Knockemout series we follow Sloane and Lucian, sworn enemies and possible lovers. You feel the heat from their relationship early on, even through all their insults they hurl at one another. They carry secrets that not even their closest friends know about. Will they be able to get past their differences and follow the path their hearts are telling them to?
This may be my favorite book in the series. Even though it’s fairly predictable, I still needed to know how the relationship played out and what the future might hold for all the couples I have become so invested in through these books! I love this series and I wouldn’t be sorry if there was a Stef and Jeremiah book!

This is the first book I've read by Lucy Score and I need to go back and read all the other books in this series! Lucian and Sloane do not get along. They share the same circle of friends but cannot stop themselves from throwing barbs at one another which makes things difficult for their friends. Under all that hatred however is an attraction both of them are trying desperately to suppress until one night they agree that the best thing to do to get over it is to give in. But one night isn't enough for either of them and when things from their shared past begin to come to light and the start to see their history in a different light it becomes harder and harder to deny the real feelings they have for each other,

OMG THIS WAS AMAZING!! Seriously, this whole series just has my heart. Lucian and Sloane were perfection and everything I thought they’d be, and this whole cast of characters feel like family to me. Lucy is the QUEEN

Sweet, emotional and so much angst.
This book features a classic tale of enemies-to-lovers, complete with witty banter that will leave you feeling dizzy. The story has just the right amount of comedy, suspense, and emotions that kept me engaged. A significant part of the book revolves around Sloane's quest for a husband to start a family, but things take an unexpected turn when Lucian claims her as his own and becomes possessive. Eventually, she stops fighting and accepts their relationship. Overall, it's a well-written book, but not my favorite.
Thank you, NetGalley and Publisher for the eARC. All opinions are my own.
