I know I’m always in for a good time when I read a Sheila Roberts’ book. I can’t have any beverages around while reading because I’ll spew it from laughing so hard.
What I liked about this book is the friendship among the women, although at times I wanted to shake Arianna. I thought Bella would never cease being a pill. Reggie was one of my favorite characters.
If the following aren’t hooks then I can’t help you.
Sunny—dealing with a poisonous ex wife of her husband and calls her Weed (hilarious!)
Arianna- has a real pain in the butt ex whose ring tone is “you’re no good”
Molly, PO worker, dealing with fractious customers, especially Mrs. Bigman-the stench that wouldn’t go away.
There’s so much more to read and explore!.

What a wonderful holiday read that embraces all of the emotions of the Christmas season. Three women who are just living their lives and dealing with what life has dealt them chose to not let life get them down and find an extraordinary way to enjoy all of the good in their lives. This book is what holiday reads are all about. I enjoyed it from page one until the end. A great read!

Sheila Roberts has a way of giving her readers ‘the warm fuzzies’ when reading her novels with their realistic and imperfect characters who are just living their everyday lives. Through heartbreak and disappointment three women decide that they will celebrate Christmas year round as a redo. They soon discover new directions and paths in their lives and along the way romance and stronger bonds are formed. I enjoyed the west coast setting and the imaginative take on Christmas all year round as well as the various characters. Fans of Hallmark movies will love this cozy book. This feel good book will put you in the festive mood.

My rating 3 1/2 stars out of 5

Sheila Roberts is letting us into the minds of a neighborhood group of women who are going about their daily lives not really thinking they are special in any way and not knowing their own strengths. We get to meet these wonderful women with wonderful pre-set expectations in life who are unexpectedly detoured off the path they are on and forced to formulate a new plan. I watched these women lean on each other while drawing strength from within themselves to make it through the hard times. The story grabbed my heart as I read and tried to imagine what I would be doing in any of their shoes. I recommend this book to everyone who has ever experienced a defining directional change in their lives.

The Twelve Months of Christmas is delightful, as are most of Sheila Roberts' books. Three very different women are finding it hard to celebrate Christmas and they decide to give the holiday a January do-0ver. The results are heart warming and make for a great read. I enjoyed the premise -- maybe we all need a little Christmas all year long. I recommend this one to anyone looking for a sweet, hard to put down story. I give it 5 stars. Thank you Net Galley for allowing me to read this book in return for my honest review.

The Twelve Months of Christmas is great fun and is good to read at any time in the year. After surviving terrible Christmas holidays two friends decide to celebrate every month - trying to get it just right.
Every month something goes wrong but they keep on trying.

The book put a smile on my face. I was invested in the characters and kept pulling for them to get it right.

I recommend the book - especially to those who have lived through bad holidays.

Christmas all year? Yes, please. This holiday read is comforting and cozy as it deals with the joys and struggles a group of female friends faces in their lives. Expect a bit of laughter and a few tears as these women of multiple generations remind us that Christmas shouldn't be just a day, but a way of living.

This talented popular author has written a quick fun read with likable characters. Live and romance fill the air. Holidays and family. Friends. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher and the author. Poignant times and funny ones. I chuckled at some of the antics. Enjoy this one.
