"Where You Go, I Go. I Am With You Until The End."

Oh my gosh this book! I am almost finished crying so please bare with me!
This was incredible. Truly and utterly incredible.
Daella, the last half orc who has been ordered by the emporer to hunt down and kill users of dragon magic just wants to escape his rule. Once her childhood friend, the emporer is now an unjust and dispicable ruler who has placed am ice shard in Daellas side to make sure she cooperates with his plans.
Her ship ends up wrecked and she is assumed the only survivor of the wreckage only she has ended up on an island that hates the emporer and is a sanctuary away from him.
Rivelin, an elven blacksmith, is the protector of the island and doesn't trust Daella one bit.
Elves drunk on dragon magic killed her family, the Emporers merks killed his. And he's keeping a huge secret he can't possibly trust the emporers merk with... Can he?

This book has everything and I couldn't put it down. There's tension, spice, games, dragons and lots more packed into this small book!
Definitely going to be recommending this to EVERYONE
❤️❤️ Daella and Rivelin are just 🤌

Forged by Magic is exactly as the author promised, a fun, escapist adventure to cuddle up on the sofa with that has a happy ending and a great blend of adventure and romance.

This feel-good fable is filled with all kinds of magics creatures; dwarves, dragons, elves, humans, and orcs, and follows the journey of Daelle, a half-orc held captive by the Ice King Isveig, who sent her to the mythical Isle of Fables to hunt down any dragons and Dragur, dragon magic wielders. The ship Daelle takes is capsized, and she ends up on the shores of Hearthaven, where she comes face to face with a grumpy elven blacksmith, Rivelin, intent on keeping any and all danger far from his village.

With no way for Daelle to leave the island while the sea is in such turmoil, Rivelin plans to keep her close and enlists her help in the magical Midsummer Games as his assistant. With four tasks to complete, meddling and suspicious activity going on in Hearthaven, there is never a dull moment, and as the two spend more time together, they forge a deep bond, but with both holding secrets close to their hearts, can they trust each?

Forged by Magic was a fun, easy read that was a great little escape. Filled with quests, and more questions than there are elves, the story was fast and held a lot of adventure and a sweet romance.

Forged by Magic follows Daella, an imprisoned Orc held by ice giants. She has been used her entire life to hunt down their only threat, anyone linked to dragon magic. Sent on a mission to find any draugr on some hidden islands she finds herself in a storm and washed up on a beach. Not the one she was looking for but one with hope, life, pastries and a big grumpy elf. Without forgetting the dragons!

This was a cozy, fun, fast paced read with some spice! I read it in a day and really enjoyed it. Also I love the cover it’s giving Rowan/guardians of the galaxy .. hot!

Thank you to netgalley and the publishers for the opportunity to read this in advance in exchange for an honest review.

Trapped in a tower by the emperor who conquered her homeland, Daella will do anything to gain her freedom. Including embarking on a dangerous mission to journey to the mysterious Isles of Fable and track down wielders of outlawed dragon magic. Unfortunately, the fates have other plans for her and after ring shipwrecked, Daella washes up on a different island, right at the feet of a handsome Elf. Neither is happy at being thrown together, but can they work out their differences to help each other out and become friends? Or even more?

I’m going to be honest, I don’t know what possessed me to request this from Net Galley, as it’s not my normal type of read, but I am so glad I did. This story was just the CUTEST. I devoured it in almost one sitting. I was immediately invested and I couldn’t put it down.

The enemies-to-lovers trope is one of my all time favorites and this book delivered, hands down! I loved that this book had dual POVs so we were able to get both Rivelin and Daella’s take on each situation. They really were true enemies in the beginning of the story, neither being able to stand the other at all. We get to see them break down their defenses bit by bit until they realize that maybe they don’t hate each other after all, maybe it’s quite the opposite.

I was pleasantly surprised at the spice in the book. Those scenes were definitely

There was definitely some intrigue with the whole “who is really the bad guy” story that went along with the main plot. It’s not over bearing and you definitely get invested in finding out who is the one being the contest sabotage.

Overall, a sweet and spicy friends to lovers fantasy you won’t want to put down! Available on Amazon and KU July 11th!

Thanks to Net Galley, Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op, for the chance to read it!

Daella is a half orc mercenary forced to work for the king who overthrew her home and embedded a deadly magic shard in her body that could kill her whenever he wanted. she is sent on a mission to find a dragon user and kill them as they are the only threat to him and in return he’ll give her her freedom... but when the mission goes askew and she finds herself stranded on a mysterious island reeking of dragons which should be extinct and a very grumpy blacksmith who wants nothing more than to get her out of there... she’s about to discover love, friendship, and having a community of her own... that is unless she is killed. Daella is one of the last half-orcs, everyone else was killed by the king. She is kept as a prisoner and forced to work and hunt for the king, with his deadly ice shard embedded in her hip that could turn her into a statue forever at his very word. Her freedom is just a dream... yet when he offers her to do one last job in exchange for it, she’s willing to do anything to finally escape, even if the mission itself is a doomed one. When her ship is completely overturned and she lands on a mysterious island reeking of forbidden magic, she comes face to fae with Riveline, a handsome but grumpy elven blacksmith who would rather stab her than let her stay on his island. Yet he offers her to take shelter in his home until the next ship passes in six weeks time in exchange she will have to be his assistance in the annual island games that grant the winner one wish of their heart’s desire. Yet the more time they spend together the more these polar opposites find that maybe all that anger and banter could lead to some very steamy tension. Yet neither of them can trust the other, Daella is afraid of how far she is willing to betray this sweet community in exchange for her freedom and the fact that they might be harboring a dangerous dragon and Riveline can’t trust Daella not to harm his home and all the people he cares about yet he can’t deny the feelings he is having for her. It doesn’t help that on top of that there are many people trying to sabotage the competition and take the wish for themself... and if Riveline and Daella can’t find a way to trust each other and win the games and possibly find a way to be together... it might have been doomed from the start. This was a really cute cozy fantasy with a bit of spice! Daella and Riveline both view each other as a threat to what they both want yet can’t deny the feelings and care that they begin to have for one another. It was sweet and I had a fun time with it!

*Thanks Netgalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review!

Forged by Magic is a fantasy romance with loveable and strong characters. Daella is an orc who has been held in captivity since she was young by an ice emperor called Isveig. He sends her on a final mission to locate the Draugr in order to gain her freedom. However a shipwreck tosses Daella onto an unknown shore where she is met with the handsome elf Rivelin.
The book is full of angst and tension as these two unwilling allies have to work together in order to win the Midsummer competition and save the island.
The setting of the book is beautiful and the atmosphere was really vivid in the book.
The book had a low stake cosy feel to it which man it a comforting and enjoyable book to read.
It had an interesting magic system revolving around the 4 elements, and best of all, it has dragons!!
The romance happens pretty fast but due to the nature of their close proximity it is believable which I liked.
My only qualm is that it wrapped up very quickly and everything seemed to right itself very easily.
Despite that, it was a very enjoyable read and I would recommend to anyone who loves fantasy romance with a rich and beautiful setting.
