This is book 6 in the Drew Family series. The Drew Family is a mom family that is into many illegal activities. Scarlet Drew is being threatened about what happened to her cousin, many years ago. Scarlet will do anything to prevent her Aunt Lily, Head of the crime family, from finding out that Scarlet was there the night Ruby died. In the midst of planning a daring robbery Scarlet finds help from a very unlikely source. This is the first book I've read in the series and it's hard to feel compassion for criminals.

Well written, well described and told, and utterly gripping.

This is the sixth book in the Drew Family saga. The main family members are Lily who is the head of the firm, followed by Connor and Cillian, the twins. Then cousins Ruby and Scarlet. On the peripheral are Cath who is Scarlet's mum and Ray would give up his life for Lily is another tolerated gangland leader.

The twins are looking at stealing diamonds from a wealthy woman. With Cillian romancing and leading her on much to the disgust of his long-term girlfriend Billie.

Phew, what a story, I was so tensed up every time I picked it up that my shoulders ached. I thought reading was relaxing. This series gets better and better the deeper you get into it.
Emma Tallon has played a blinder with this series. With brilliant characters and a strong storyline.

Emma Tallon is once again at her best in the sixth book of her Drew Family series, "Her Enemy". Very few can marry thrill with intense emotions into a prefect amalgamation, as Tallon is able to do; and not many authors can make their readers actually root for a complex and ruthless character whose actions may not be very moral or even legal. Tallon has managed to do that in an exemplary way so far in this series.

As we have seen in the previous books, the head of the family and crime syndicate Lily and her niece Scarlet are the backbone of the Drew family; in this book, however, we see that Cillian, Lily's son has shown more initiative and leadership in taking the reins of their family business. The dynamics within the organization has shifted with Scarlet and Cillian managing to work in tandem and create great profits for their organization. In spite of things being almost normal, Scarlet has a tough time forgetting her role in her cousin Ruby's death and this only increases the distance between herself and Cillian.

So when she starts getting threatening notes regarding the night of Ruby's death, her famous control and purpose desert her and leave her floundering. The organization also finds that there is a threat against their family from one of their oldest enemies. Do they hold their own against all these machinations against them? If yes, how do they do it?

Please read this book to know where all these characters and the story travel to. As always, I totally enjoyed the ruthlessness, callous cruelty and pure emotion (even if they are dark at times) Emma Tallon manges to bring into her stories. The story has an amazing and taut pace, so much so that I couldn't stop reading it. I particularly liked the hints of vulnerability Scarlet and Lily display in this book; it makes them more human and made me feel for them even when I know they might not be the best of people. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to see what comes next.

As always another fantastic book in this brilliant series, always on the edge of my seat when I read Emma’s books they are just so gripping. Looking forward to finding out what will happen next.

Another great installment in the Drew Family series. The strong female characters - a gang with women in charge - is what makes this series stand-out! Definitely recommend reading this series in order.

This book was always going to be a flawless five stars. Every instalment of this series has been fantastic, and this latest offering is no different. Secrets revealed, families torn apart by moral dilemmas and as always enemies lurking in every corner! Already eagerly anticipating the next instalment.

Another brilliant book in the Drew series. A gripping read that i just can’t put down. Such strong characters that are all likeable and feel like i know them. Plenty of drama and tension that I couldn’t read quick enough. It can be read as a standalone but I advise reading the series from the beginning as it’s such a great series. I can’t wait for the next book., don’t keep us waiting too long!!

Emma has crafted a family with great characters. I think you could read as a standalone but why would you deprive yourself of this amazing story?

Jumped out of book 5 and right into book 6. I could happily read this series everyday if the author would just stop having a life and write more for me. Superb, absolutely superb.

Following a family death, things seem a little strained in the Drew family. A rift seems to be developing. An old love shows his face and changes some of the family plans. Secrets are revealed and this could just be too much for the family.
Superbly written absolutely gripping read. I couldn't turn the pages quick enough. yet typically didn't want the book to end.

Scarlet Drew had been doing well in her role as second to her aunt Lily in their crime family. However, the death of Lily’s daughter Ruby (a true thorn in Scarlet’s side) has left the family shaken. Scarlet feels she no longer has the trust of her aunt. Meanwhile, although Scarlet has a new love in her life, her feelings for her previous lover have never left her heart.

But, that is only the tip of the iceberg. Cillian, Lily’s son and twin brother to Conner, is about to play a very dangerous game for the benefit of the family. As if tensions weren’t already high, the family is being betrayed, most notably Scarlet, and she comes up with a plan to set matters straight.

What a tense ride! This thrilling book, the sixth book in a stellar series, was utterly compelling and was an exciting one-sitting read.

I love the Drew Family Series and all there gangland antics. I can’t turn the pages fast enough and this one is no exception. Definitely need to start this series from the beginning just to get the full backstory and really get to know The Drew’s. There is always a few problems and ‘jobs’ they have to contend with that throw up their own problems. You are totally sucked into every details and get the front row experience of how ‘the life’ works. Yet again I’m left wanting and waiting not so patiently for the next instalment. Please Emma Tallon don’t leave me hanging too long 🙏.

Her Enemy is the sixth book in the Drew Family crime series and my second time reading Emma Tallon’s work. Although this is the sixth book in the series, it works well as a standalone. I really need to make the time for the previous books.

The story in this installment picks up one year after the events in the fifth book. Her Fight. Scarlett is carrying around a massive secret. A secret which she can’t afford for her family to discover. If they should learn of it, it would lead to massive fallout and possibly her death. So far she’s been able it close to her chest, but then she receives an anonymous blackmail note. To protect her secret, she sets out to find the person behind the note, while trying to juggle work associated with the family’s current plan for a daring heist.

Her Enemy is another gripping, addictive and suspenseful tale in this series. Chock full of surprises and twists, be prepared for a one sitting read as the story will suck you in. Although this is my second book in the series, I have quickly become a fan of Scarlett. So much so I kept hoping she would find out who is behind the note and put an end to their blackmailing scheme. It intrigued me to see her getting help from an unexpected source. However, this help would come at a cost to the family and change the whole dynamics of their operations. An unwelcome change which no one saw coming.

Tension mixed with suspense, and action permeated the story, making it difficult to put down. It also delivered a few humorous moments. The characters, some of whom I liked and others not so much, helped to make Her Enemy a winner.

Overall, Tallon delivered a fascinating tale that fans of suspenseful and action packed stories will love.

I absolutely LOVE Emma’s books!

This is book 6 in the Drew family series. Scarlett is one of my favourite characters.

Even though this is book 6, the storyline still grips you and can’t wait to start reading these books. I thought this may be the last in the series but with that ending …… don’t you dare finish it here Emma 🤭🤣.

This is the sixth book I have read by this author. It is also the sixth book in the 'Drew Family' series but can be read as a standalone. I have also read 'Her Revenge' (book 1),'Her Rival' (book 2), 'Her Betrayal' (book 3), 'Her Payback' (book 4) and 'Her Fight' (book 5) and I absolutely loved each one and would highly recommend this addictive series.

OMG EMMA!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME!!! YET AGAIN, WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY EXPLOSIVE BOOK AND BOMBSHELL CLIFFHANGER ENDING!!! I HOPE YOU'VE WRITTEN YOUR NEXT BOOK BECAUSE I CANNOT WAIT!!!


This book is extremely well written with vivid descriptions and the perfect atmosphere for the STORYLINE. The descriptions really emerge the reader into the storyline making your heart race and the hair on your arms raise. The synopsis and cover work perfectly with the book cover.


The book is yet another gripping and addictive gangland thriller from the very first page until the last. I was absolutely hooked throughout with the suspense and tension filled plot. I enjoyed delving back into the underworld and getting to know more about the Drew family worked within the family, the underworld and all the other gangs. The storyline was intricately woven with so many sub plots that kept me completely engaged throughout. The way Emma has written it really helps your imagination picture everything going on. It is filled with laughter, love, crime, loss, shocks, twists and one hell of an explosive ending!!! I was absolutely on the edge of my seat, biting my nails with a pounding heart throughout this absolutely gripping and addictive book!!! I have absolutely loved each and every book in this series but I must say this has definitely got to be the best. It is the most heart racing and nail biting and OMG the emotions I was going through!! I screamed, shouted, cried, my nails are bitten down so there's nothing left and I have been on the edge of my seat constantly. The ending just completely left me mind blown and I am ABSOLUTELY dreading and yet excited for and unable to wait for the next book which I just know is going to be another absolute explosive bombshell! This really is one of the best series I have ever read and I love knowing that each and every book gets better and better with more explosions, tension, action and suspense to come. The Drew family are now hiding secrets from each other and the cracks are starting to show. Will this latest bombshell be the one to blow them apart? Teasing you much? What are you waiting for grab your copy today. I'm also intrigued by what another person is up to and how it's all going to play out. Although this is the sixth book in the series I had would have had absolutely no problems reading it without the others. Any details or events that have previously happened are mentioned in just the right amount of detail to let a new reader know what has happened and yet not too much to bore a previous reader.

I absolutely loved meeting the Drew family again as well as the other characters.. I never thought I would ever get THAT into a gangland crime book but OMG Emma you have completely proven me wrong. The Drew's have become like family and friends to me and I feel every emotion that they do. Scarlet is definitely a force to be reckoned with as is Lily and who doesn't love a strong kick @ss female in the crime world!! I was absolutely fascinated by all the businesses that she managed to keep afloat. I also enjoy reading about what Connor and Cillian got up to and having twins myself it's quite interesting to see how these twins worked. I am definitely excited to see how things go with Connor after his latest bombshell!! I loved both of their huge and hilarious yet serious when needed personalities and they slightly remind me of the Weasley twins from Harry Potter with their cheeky sides. The tension in this storyline is absolutely through the roof!! It has been absolutely heart breaking watching this once close family being torn apart and seeing different sides to them with less humour than normal. Every single character was strong and had their own unique personalities and each definitely left an impression on me. Regardless of whether I LOVED them or hated them they all came together to make this book and also this series exactly what it is and it is perfect the way it is!!!

I am looking forward to reading more of Emma's books and it would be intriguing to see them turned into movies. Emma, congratulations on yet another explosive hit and here's to your next success 🍻!!! This is EXACTLY why you are one of my favourite authors, this is one of my favourite series and the Drew's are definitely my favourite fictional family EVER!!!

Overall a must read, non stop, emotionally and action packed, explosive page turning, gripping and addictive adventure from the underworld that is one not to be missed!!!

This series keeps getting better and better.
Scarlet is getting letters and blackmailed that they know what happened to Ruby the night she died. Her Aunt Lily is head of one of the biggest crime families and Scarlet never told her the truth about Ruby's death and is afraid Lily won't believe her.
While that is going on the family is trying to pull off a big heist.
The family dynamics in this keeps sucking me in and how they all stick up for each other is how a family should be.

This is book #6 in the Drew family series. It could be read as a standalone, but I would recommend reading these in series order for better understanding of the storylines. We are back with the Drew family and Scarlet is still trying to deal with her guilt over the death of her cousin Ruby. There are other pressing matters though with the family and a job involving Tabitha Gray, a rich woman with an impressive art and jewel collection!

I've really enjoyed this series and have followed Scarlet's storyline with anticipation, wondering whether the truth about Ruby will ever come to light. She thought only her and Chain knew about what really happened, but on the anniversary of Ruby's death Scarlet receives a note making it clear that someone else was there! The storyline held my attention throughout and kept me wondering as to who that person might be. I was also really caught up in the other storyline running alongside of the job that the family were next planning and enjoyed watching Cillian reluctantly pursue Tabitha Gray.

There are lots of twists and surprises within this latest story, some which left me open mouthed! I like Scarlet's character and have enjoyed watching her go from a strong, powerful, confident woman to someone who's losing a grip on her life. Can she pull it back and become again the woman who others would hide from? The author has given us another strong book, with lots of page turning chapters and unanswered questions for what I hope will be another book in the series.

I counted down this release since the last one - in December of 2022. This one did not disappoint - though I found the stalker a little predictable.
It has been a year since Ruby's tragic death. Scarlet still carries the guilt - secrets shared with Chain and a detective. Ray is pushing harder than ever for Connor to join his form, to lead after Ray steps down.
The suspense was fantastic - I am obsessed with this family.

The characters are strong and well developed. I don't want to say too much about the plotline as I don't want to give anything away. This is a gripping read and once I picked it up, I couldn't put it back down again.

Her Enemy is the sixth book in the Drew family gangland crime series. Honestly this series keeps getting better and better. As soon as I started reading this one I just felt I was back amongst friends. Since I’ve read this series from the start I have grown to love the characters, shady and all as some of them are. This is one of those books you will not want to put down once you start it. It can be read as a standalone but I strongly recommend reading the rest in the series as they are all superb reads . Now I have to wait ‘patiently’ for book 7. 5⭐️
