A very satisfying ending to this series. I love books with close knit families like this one. I really enjoyed this story, and getting to know Lilian and Wilder better. You have to suspend belief somewhat with all the coincidences, but I didn’t mind. The great characters make up for that. I’m sorry to see this series come to an end.

I thought I knew who the missing granddaughter was and I was wrong!!!!!! I loved this opposites attract story and how they finally fell in love with each other. The mystery was on point and I especially appreciated the epilogue and how we got to see what our beloved friends from muir harbor were up to years later!

I have no words to adequately describe Wedding at Sea. It has every single thing I could ever want in a book. I admit that I ugly cried during this book. I read the book late at night and was hoping my hubby wouldn’t wake from my sobbing. There was gut wrenching emotional pain. Melissa Tagg had you on an emotional rollercoaster and I’m not sure that I will ever come off it or if I even want to. The epilogue was the most amazing epilogue. And I admit that I cried happy tears during that one too. If you have read the first two books then you will definitely love this amazing conclusion. I really hope that we haven’t seen the last of Muir Harbor. I know this was the last book, but I’m not ready to say goodbye. Saying I loved it will never express how I truly felt about this book.

I went into this book blind as I have not read the rest of the series and I think I enjoyed it a bit more that way. This book is both romance and mystery and captivates from page one till the end. I really enjoyed now I want to go back and read the rest of the series.

Lillian was adopted by Maggie Muir when she was found abandoned on her front porch. Now Lillian is back to help Maggie plan her wedding and help out at Muir Farm. This is book 3 in the Muir Harbor series. I did not read the first two and it might have helped understand this story. She has a run in with Wilder, her brother's best friend and Maggie asks them to put aside their differences till after the wedding.

A satisfying final chapter to this heartwarming family drama, full of heart, intrigue, and faith.

Lillian has always wondered about her past, now a successful lawyer she and Wilder have always had a slightly antagonistic relationship. It was fun seeing them banter, and come to see each other in a different light while working together.

It was fun to see all the pieces come together as the secrets were unearthed. I loved seeing Maggie find a lasting love after all these years, and wished there had been a little more of her and Ray's story.

Overall, a satisfying conclusion filled with captivating and engaging characters, great relationship building, and themes of faith.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This book was a much anticipated read for me this year and I loved it! The dynamic of the Muir family that captured me from book one in the series shone throughout this book as well. I loved how they all bickered and teased each other but had a deep love that united them, no matter what they went through. The mystery intertwined throughout the story kept me hooked wanting to see the characters finally get answers. That intriguing story only served to deepen the character arcs and make their struggles seem even more real. I loved seeing the characters' connection with each other grow and deepen as they faced those challenges and had to work through their fears and shortcomings. I adored Lilian and Wilder's enemies to lovers story. Their hilarious bickering and stubborn frustration with each other served to heighten the tension as they began to realize how much they truly cared for each other. I loved watching them learn to forgive and be there for each other through thick and thin. I loved watching the members of the Muir family learn and grow throughout the books and this series only serves to reinforce Melissa Tagg's spot on my list of auto-buy authors.

I've really enjoyed this series to the fullest and I am sad to see it end.
I really liked Lilian because most of the time I resonated with her.
Wilder cracked me up at times.
I have a lot of favorite scenes in this book that I wish I could describe without giving it away.
I did read this book in one afternoon because I loved the mystery part of it and wanted to see where it went. I wasn't disappointed. I really enjoyed this book so much that I can't say it enough.
I love Tagg's writing because she makes her characters realistic, relatable and flawed. I say flawed in not perfect. That way us readers can really relate to Lilian and Wilder.
This is one of my favorite 2023 reads and I highly recommend it.
These characters will have u on the edge of your seat waiting for one of their funniest moments among other parts of their lives as well.
As I read this book I could just see this as a movie and that's what made it even better.
An Lillian and Walter get along long enough for the upcoming wedding or not? Y'all just have to pick up this fabulous book to find out! Hehehe
5 stars for a wonderful adventure.
I highly recommend it.
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Wilder has spent the 5 years since his father died trying to solve the mystery of how Lilian, as a toddler, appeared on Maggie’s front porch. Lilian, now an adult, has never gotten along with Wilder, but Maggie asks them to work together to plan her wedding … and in the process, the two have to confront the truth of a secret Lilian has been keeping, as well as the demons Wilder faces. In addition, someone’s been lurking around Lilian’s office and Wilder’s houseboat, and their guess is that not only is he seeking to solve the same mystery, but he’s not above putting them in danger to do so.

I’m a little sad to see this series end, because there were some side characters in this book who would have interesting stories, too. This is the final book in the series, and I definitely recommend reading them in order. (Netgalley)

Yes - read it.

I am not good with mysteries, I can't ever figure them out. I enjoyed the story. The tension between the main characters made for an intriguing story.

I haven't read the first two books so I believe there are two more good reads from this author in the series.

I got an ARC from Netgalley to help me prepare my honest review.

"Hope was stronger when it was chosen and chased and held close despite the odds."

It's been a while since I've picked up a Melissa Tagg book and I'm glad to have read this one. Though it's third book in the series, it can still be read as a stand-alone. There are plenty of details and in-depth references sprinkled in to make sure you aren't lost or confused when the characters are talking about past events (FYI, I haven't read the first two books in the series yet). I loved the setting of Muir Harbor in Maine and really enjoyed getting to know the entire Muir family and the overarching theme of Maggie Muir's desire to find her granddaughter. Lily is spunky and driven, though oftentimes too impulsive, arrogant, and prickly. Wilder is fun, charming, and quite delightful though he loves to antagonize Lily and is haunted by grief, loss, and self-doubt. As Wilder and Lily dig further and deeper into Maggie's deceased daughter's past, the carefully latched top to the big box of secrets blows wide open to provide plenty of twists and turns in the mystery portion of the story. There is a solid faith thread to provide grounding and foundation for the characters as the mystery unravels. Older brother's best friend and enemies to lovers romance tropes provided lots of romantic tension between Lily and Wilder.

If you enjoy contemporary romance that tugs at the heart and has some mystery/sleuthing involved, you will love this book. I received a complimentary copy courtesy of publisher via NetGalley and was under no obligation to post a positive comment. All opinions are my own.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I really loved this book. It was fantastic from the very first page.

Aww--such a sweet and delightful conclusion to this series. It had the enemies-ish-to-more-than-friends trope. The transition was believable. The interactions and banter were delightful and engaging without ever becoming overdone, irritating, or interrupting the plot. It all furthered the story and characterization.

Melissa Tagg is one of my favorite authors and I'm sad to see this series end and looking forward to the next one. She captures the essence of characters that draws a reader in. I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys inspirational romance with humor, heart, and a dash of mystery.

I loved this book! The whole series has been amazing (I recommend reading them in order to fully enjoy the story!), and this book was a wonderful conclusion to the series. Highly recommend this one!

"So you want the two of us to plan your wedding? I'm flattered. And a little surprised. Confused, actually. I'm not really the event-planner type." (he said)
"And I'm more than capable of doing it on my own." (she said)

Somewhere along the way, Wilder and Lillian became enemies. He is her adopted brother's best friend. So he was unsure as to why they couldn't get along. When they are asked to work together to plan a wedding, at first they both loudly protested. But soon they find out that perhaps they need to find a way to work together in many more ways as well.

As always with this author's books, there are many layers. Her characters always have reasons for their behavior. But they often need prompting to understand their motivations in order to make changes. This is definitely true for both Wilder and Lillian. I loved how they both grew and developed throughout the course of this book.

Maggie is definitely the backbone to this storyline. Getting to see how her life comes full circle is beautiful. Also I am glad that Neil and Indi and several others appear again prominently as well.

I have loved the Muir Harbor series. The characters are connected in unlikely and unexpected ways. While all three books could be classified as romances, there are many additional important elements including faith, family, small town life and even a bit of mystery. This third book even leaned toward suspense. This trilogy of titles is definitely intertwined, so I do recommend reading all of the books in order. I am definitely hoping that the author returns to this beautiful, fictional town.

Initially I did read this book through NetGalley, but I requested it because I did not want to wait for the release date. Actually, I preordered this one but was happy to have gotten to read the book before it officially arrived. I literally could not wait for Wilder and Lillian's story. All opinions expressed are my own.

The Muir Harbor series has been one of my favorites! I've loved every single one and Wedding at Sea was a fabulous conclusion to this wonderful story of the Muir family. I especially enjoyed reading about this family who cares so much for one another and getting to see how Lillian and Wilder end up together. Not only do we get a sweet romance as they move from "enemies to lovers" but we get the mystery of Maggie's daughter and grand-daughter solved along the way.

This could probably be read as a stand-alone but it's so much better when read with the two previous books!

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review. All opinions are my own.

I loved this book so much! Wedding at Sea is the 3rd book in the Muir Harbor Series. The whole series is amazing, but this one was even better than the rest. It truly wraps up the entire series in unexpected yet beautiful ways. I can’t wait to see what Melissa Tagg writes next!

Ladies and gentlereaders, she stuck the landing. Full marks. Not surprised, just in awe of how this gave everything it needed to give for our third Muir couple and their individual journeys and also bring the overarching family mystery to its masterful finale. Call it a Wilder Monroe gut instict, I had a feeling this would be a great series, and I loved every minute. Who said it’s over? I’m certainly not leaving; Maggie would never make me go.

We continue to live up to-what should be-the Muir family motto: “Everyone has their ‘own tangles to unravel’” (I’m sure it’s embroidered into a pillow or something). “We Love a Good Cry Sesh” is close second. Cue Julia Michaels “Issues”, we have a Muir couple that have known each other for a lot more than 14 days, and yet the relationship progression and depth was just as whirlwind spot on, while keeping the numerous hidden-turmoil plates spinning. ‘Cause there’s a lot of unraveling to be done, but let’s make it brother’s best friend, one-sided animosity, loves-to-ruffle-her-feathers banter, wedding planning/mystery solving forced proximity heaven. The kind that has you pouring your heart out to the man who has been the object of your scowling for decades. And it’s the one-boat trope with so many amazing scenes and so much more of both farmhouse and seaside epic landscapes. Just as the mystery and peril ramps up in this finale, so does the chemistryyyy, as the playful banter tension doesn’t fade when the animosity disipates and, honestly, how does Wilder manage to both be grinning tease and rip your heart out? That third act required committed reader sleep sacrifices with all the what’re-the-odds twists and, thank Maggie’s blueberry pie, to be rewarded with a full-cast time jump epilogue.

There might be less guest rooms available at this point, but, head over to Muir Farm to fall in love with a found family, beautiful setting, all-in angsty, sweet romance and hard-earned faith. Such a great series.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for ARC of this respendlent last installment.

Content notes: kissing only, predominant on-page parent-loss grief, mention of cancer death, on-page health scare, on-page adoptee grief, mention of teenage pregnancy, on page shooting violence. Predominant themes of faith.

I have been following the Muir family since book one and have loved each one! I laughed and cried with this one. I really like Melissa's style of writing she really captures your attention and holds on to it until the very last word. I feel like I became part of the family through out this series and wish I could meet them in real life. Lilian and Wilder are enemies that are put together to work on Maggies wedding. It was really sweet to see how their friendship played out through the thick and through the thin. Maggie was one of my favorite characters because I feel like through out all three books she was the back bone to her family even though she had her own pain and heart ache. I would definitely recommend this book and will be rereading it in the future.

Thank you NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book!
