Lilian is very glad she got to grow up as one of Maggie's girls, but she's always wanted to know where she came from, going so far as to imagine herself Cynthia, Maggie's long lost granddaughter - a dream that was rudely quashed by Wilder. Wilder knows where he came from but has been struggling ever since his dad's death. But when Lilian's search for answers leads her to secretly break into Wilder's houseboat - only to be caught in the act - Lilian's decades of animosity toward him begin to crack. When Maggie begs the pair to work together to plan her wedding, it gradually becomes clear that there could be something more between them - if they can only overcome or uncover the secrets of the past that still haunt them...

With the background of mystery in this series, it's probably best read as a series (and all the books are very well worth reading!), though the romance itself is a standalone story. It's been clear from the start that these two need to end up together (enemies always end up that way, right?), and it was amazing to watch it all unfold at last in this book. I was trying to work out my favourite thing about this book, and decided that I couldn't - I loved the whole thing too much! Though Wilder's letter was incredibly touching... All in all, a great read, heart-warming but also with an element of mystery to keep the reader guessing. A very difficult book to put down before the delightfully satisfying ending is reached. Highly recommended.

I have to admit that though this feels like the last book of the series, I was left feeling that it's introduced an extra character who really needs her own story now - please?

Note that I received a complimentary copy of the book from NetGalley. I was not required to write a positive review and this is my considered opinion of the book.

I liked this. There was a nice progression of Lil and Wilder’s childhood animosity growing into tender feelings for each other. I have had an MS scare, so I could definitely relate to the worry Lil felt about that.

I didn’t realize that this was the third book in the series, but things were explained enough that I didn’t feel lost at all. The ending seemed a little convoluted and hard to follow for a bit, but things came together and I enjoyed it overall.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for letting me read this ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Wedding at Sea is a novel with heart, love, romance, and family. There was a riveting mystery throughout the story, as well. I thought I had it figured out only to discover I wasn’t even close! There were twists and turns I did not see coming, but they just added to the intrigue. I had not read the first two books in the series, Muir Harbor by Melissa Tagg. This can be read as a stand alone book since a lot of the backstory is interspersed throughout. However, I just finished the first book before writing this review and am ready to read the second book. I do recommend reading them in order if you are able to, but read them regardless. I loved the characters and the love of family instilled throughout this book. I hope everyone who reads this enjoys it as much as I did!

The author crafted a story which I found entertaining to read. Filled with drama and emotion, the story introduces two interesting characters who quickly find their way into your heart. I found myself rooting for them even though at times, I was not totally a fan of his. An enjoyable read.

When you are waiting for the third and final book of a series, there is always a little apprehension: Will it live up to my expectations? In the case of Wedding at Sea, it is a resounding yes!

Lillian and Wilder are a compelling and swoon worthy couple. From their first interaction, I wondered how they would eventually get together. Maggie forcing their proximity to plan her wedding felt like the perfect opportunity. They definitely hit all the enemies to lovers trope notes but in a way that felt natural and organic. They are sassy and sarcastic with one another that later leads to vulnerability and tenderness that left me rooting even harder for them.

The underlying mystery of what happened the night Diana died and Cynthia disappeared is answered in a fully satisfying way. I did not one of the twists coming and it left goosebumps on my arms.

Melissa Tagg continues to be the bar for how to handle God in a novel. Faith is never a forced topic, but rather intertwined in meaningful and genuine ways.

Overall, this book hits all the right tones and left me fully satisfied with both the couple's story as well as the underlying mystery. I highly recommend this book! 5 Stars!

Thank you to Larkspur Press and NetGalley for allowing me to read the book early! I was not asked to give a positive review. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

I liked this book. I really liked this book. Third person narrative is my favorite. A linear timeline is also my favorite. This talented author has written a cannot put down novel. Fiction that reads like nonfiction. This is one of my favorite books this year. Simple and straight forward story about family, romance, and love. A hint of mystery keeps the reader guessing. The characters are likable and realistic. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to this fantastic author and to this awesome publisher.

I really enjoyed this romance mystery. I was guessing right up until the end! There was plenty action, swoonworthy romance, and a puzzling mystery. I couldn’t put it down, and read it all in one sitting! I would definitely recommend others to read this. It’s clean read so perfect for all ages, and keeps the reader gripped throughout

Honestly this was such a good book, and very quick and easy read. It felt as though i was really connecting with the characters and i loved how even though it was third person point of view, the chapters still focused on one person at a time and we got an insight into what they were thinking and feeling. I had a few sneaking suspicions throughout the book and loved to see how the story played out and if i was correct, and there were definitely a fair share of plot twists along the way that i loved to see.

To put it simply it was a great mystery unfolding book with romance weaved into it.

Tropes included were amazing too: brothers best friend, enemies to lovers, unsuspecting romance, small town romance, found family and the list just goes on.

The writing of this book was fantastic and it felt like the story just flowed so well.
