I want to own this book. Who knew you could make so many different things with a waffle maker. I love that it's mostly for one or two servings.

Who knew that a waffle maker had so many uses!! These seem like they will be alot of fun to make ( especially for and with my kids) and pretty tasty too. Happy to add this book to my collection of cookbooks

This book and a waffle maker would be the perfect gift for a newly graduated, soon-to-be collage student, or a newly married couple. So many great, simple, meal and snack ideas you can cook using just a waffle maker. Recipies designed to feed 1-6 people.

Waffle It! is a graphically appealing and well written specialty cookbook with recipes curated by Kate Woodson. Released 10th Oct 2023 by Fox Chapel, it's 128 pages and is available in paperback and ebook formats. It's worth noting that the ebook format has a handy interactive table of contents as well as interactive links and references throughout.

The recipes are arranged logically in thematic chapters: breakfast, lunch & snacks, dinner, sauces, and desserts. Recipes contain a description and background introduction, ingredients in a bullet list, and step-by-step cooking instructions. Ingredient measurements are supplied in imperial (American) standard measurements only. The nutritional information is not included. Extra tips or recipe alternatives are listed in text boxes in the recipes. The recipes themselves are fairly straightforward and are made for the most part with easily sourced ingredients.

The photography is well done and abundant; most of the recipes are illustrated with photographs which are clear and easy to understand.Vegetarian recipes are not marked as such. Many of the recipes which aren't vegan-friendly could be made plant based with a little experimentation. (Almost all of the recipes are streamlined and don't contain many ingredients).

This is a nice collection of recipes and even allowing for the fact that some of them are very similar to others in the same category, this will keep waffle/panini/sandwich press fans going for ages. These are simple "everyday" recipes which are anything but boring.

Four and a half stars. This is a solid recipe book which will be used. It would make a superlative housewarming gift to a friend or newly fledged family member moving to university or a first apartment.

I love my waffle iron and I'm always looking for new recipes, so when I saw this book, I jumped at the opportunity to read it!

There were a lot of recipes, yes, but there were very few that I hadn't heard of before.

Lots of sauces and panini recipes as well.

Overall, if you've never really done a lot of cooking (waffle iron or not), you'll probably find it a good book to own, but for the person who cooks on a regular basis, I'd check this out from a library instead of buying it.

Yum, yum, I really did not know there was so many things one can make with a Waffle.. This book has recipes from breakfast, lunch, snacks, dimmer and dessert. It also has information on the care of your waffle iron and how to oil it up and clean it. Waffles are an easy meal, which can be made very nutritious or just for a sweet hit..

I chose this book because my daughter was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease and I need more ideas to use without bread. So I appreciated the recipes that were things other than bread. I didn’t really find recipes like, buy a glazed donut and waffle it to be very helpful. I thought there would be more from scratch. The formatting made it hard to read/find ingredients and the majority of the pictures didn’t work which is very unfortunate for a cookbook.

I now want a waffle iron. This cookbook is a culinary treasure! The recipes are not only easy to follow but also yield delicious results. The diverse range of dishes caters to various tastes, making it a go-to guide for both novice and experienced cooks. The vibrant photos add an extra layer of inspiration, making this cookbook a delightful addition to any kitchen.

Great cookbook with lots of appetizing photos and creative ideas that I have never thought about before but will gladly try!

Not every recipe is made with waffles either. There’s a lot of original sandwiches combinations too.

Time for me to take oit my waffle maker and try some of those recipes!

I bought a mini waffle maker a couple years ago to make cheese waffles after bariatric surgery. Once I could go back to a regular diet I never used it again, but this has given me a whole host of other ideas I could use it for. Can't wait to try them out!

Received a stuffed waffle maker as an early Christmas present so I was so excited to have received an advanced copy of this book. Who knew all the possibilities you can make. Both sweet and savory. I've had a lot of fun experiencing.

My favorite is the Philly steaksteak and the Reuben.

Everyone who loves waffles need this book. Happy cooking.

I really wanted to like this recipe book because it includes all kinds of recipes that utilize waffles. Savory and sweet choices are included. The recipes are interesting, but the main issues that I have with this title are in the formatting of the e-book itself.

The pictures are often too large, incorrectly formatted or the links used to place the images there are broken. It's a shame because the recipes would be interesting if the pictures were formatted correctly to make the dish seem more enticing to make.

I cannot wait to try some of these recipes in Waffle It! I would have never thought to combine the ingredients the author does in this book, but so many of the combinations look so delicious. I’m usually a waffle and syrup kind of girl but I’m looking forward to trying some of these recipes.

A clever way to waffle it.

I really liked this book. It has over a hundred recipes for your waffle maker or panini iron and ranges from sweet to savory. Your waffle iron isn't only for breakfast waffles. You can make lasagna in that waffle maker.
Yum.

This is a creative cookbook for waffle recipes and the use of a waffle iron. Though it also includes pressed sandwiches and paninis, it's unique and has variations to ensure you're not eating or making the same thing everyday.

I LOVE THIS COOKBOOK! I never would have thought to cook shrimp with my waffle iron but oh my goodness is it delicious! The Brussel sprout melt has increased my love for brussels! So many amazing and tasty recipes that have changed the way we do lunch and quick dinners in my house!

I need a new recipe for the holidays, so I gave this cookbook a chance. There are definitely some good ones in here I am excited to try. This book has more then just waffle maker recipes. Thank you for all the recommendations!

I love a good cookbook that has simple recipes anyone can do! Starting off with a little history of the waffle, some information on selecting the right waffle iron and cleaning tips, this book offers great information before you even begin cooking. The recipes are divided by meals and there are so many options, not just waffles, but sandwiches, donuts, etc. all of which can be put in a waffle iron. Each recipe has a photo and personally I prefer the photos of the finished product but for some there are open sandwich pictures that don't look as tasty in my opinion but display what is inside the sandwich so you can see all the ingredients. It's a simple cookbook with recipes that don't require too much in terms of ingredients or instruction. I will definitely be adding this to my library's collection in 2024 if it's available from our vendor!
