I love Kelley Armstrong and I was fully expecting to love this story as much as I did. Packed with romance, suspense, mystery, and a bit of the supernatural, this fourth book in the A Stitch in Time Series delivers as well as the first three did. A page-turning thrill ride for fans of love and adventure. I highly recommend this series for time travel romance fans.

Another satisfying installment in the Stitch in Time series. Portia and Ben are a wonderful couple, each with their own personality quirks and areas for growth, but with an ability to see past the other's issues to their true nature - as it should be in a meant-for-each-other novel where even time bends over backwards to ensure they can be together.

Looking forward to a Christmas-themed novella featuring an expectant Portia... 'cause you know it's gonna happen. :)

What a fantastic addition to an amazing series! I honestly can't decide which book is my favorite. They're all so wonderful!

This book can be read as a stand-alone, but it was so great when the characters from the previous books made an appearance.

A Castle in the Air follows Portia as she experiences the time slip for the first time. She plans on going through just to make sure that Miranda and Nicholas are safe and ends up on an adventure of her own. One that involves a murder mystery, romance, a highwayman, and a haunted castle. I loved seeing Portia come into her own during this story. She's a strong and resilient character who deserves her moment in the spotlight.

Thank you, Netgalley, and the publisher for allowing me an ARC of this book. All opinions are my own.

I hadn't read the seasonal novella concerning the Hastings sisters by Armstrong, so it took me a little to find my footing in this book. In A Castle in the Air we follow Portia who sets out to find, and hopefully if needed save, her younger sister Miranda. But of course, things do not go as planned and Portia finds herself falling in love with the Earl of Ravensford, who sometimes masquerades as a masked highway man.
Toss in a vengeful ghost who only Portia is able to partially communicate with, and you've got an entertaining story that is right up my alley.

A haunted castle crumbing in ruins and a time traveler are the center of this intriguing tale.

Portia and her family have a stitch though time in that they can travel. She is worried for her sister that should have been back by now.

When she gets there trouble finds her fast. But she is a tough and resourceful.

Oh, you might try, but you would carry her into the ruined wing, only to wake up and find yourself locked within.”

Lord Sterling is grumpy and hard to get along with. Trying to save his legacy.

Oh, you might try, but you would carry her into the ruined wing, only to wake up and find yourself locked within.”

This is a time travel but reads more like a historical romance. I like be this author but this is my first book in this series. Will definitely be reading more though.

In this fourth installment to the Stitch in Time series ,the third Hastings sister, Portia, takes her first step throuhg time in oder to locate and possibly help her sister Miranda.
The action begins as soon as Portia arrives in 18th century Ravensford.
Portia,a trained doctor in her time, resolves to help a wounded man and finds herself emeshed ina family/country-side crisis.
While her primary goal began as a rescue effort her focus soon shifts to a mission to help an injured man which then transitios into a steamy love story. This novel includes a healthy mix of romance, time travel, murder mystery and paranormal.
The banter and loving sarcasim between the two lead charactersss is fun and charming. The charachterization of the leading lady is wonderfully done. Portia is strong and wise with just enough naiveity to keep her humble.
The main cons for me have to do with a bit of repition of certain phrases as well as the resolution of the paranormal spirt.
This one will intrest fans of the series as well as eades new to the Stitch in Time books.
Thank you to Netgalley and Kla Fricke publishing,

Another enjoyable Time Stitch Novel by Kelley Armstrong, yes! Portia is the only Hastings sister to refrain from going through the time stitch, but her sister and her husband are late returning from a journey, so she decides that she needs to go check on them. Once she travels through, life gets very crazy, very quickly. She ends up in a crumbling castle with two brothers, Nicholas and Jude, and off on a wild and crazy adventure/mystery. I loved the banter between the characters and especially Portia and Nicholas! Watch out for that ghost! Loved it!!

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the Publisher for free, but I give my honest opinion voluntarily.

5/5 stars: Armstrong's long been a favorite author and this newest entry in her Historical Time-Travel Romance series is fantastic. With not only complex and incredibly likable characters, Armstrong's writing brings the English setting to life while also weaving just the right amount of the fantastical elements (time-travel and ghosts) and historical elements (highwaymen). Additionally, Portia and Benedict's banter is the top-notch and their romance is incredibly swoon-worthy. And of course, Armstrong knows how to write an excellent mystery plot line and this book's doesn't disappoint. This is the fourth book in the A Stitch in Time series, to start at the beginning pick up A Stitch in Time, book one, and be sweep away to another time and place.

I received this eARC thanks to NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op in exchange for an honest review. Publishing dates are subject to change.

Oh, I loved reading this book! I just love this series so much, and this was the last of the Hasting sisters to get a story, and I loved hers! Her and Benedict together was so much fun to read, their banter was hilarious, and I just loved their romance!

This book's main plot ties in with the previous novella, of the ghost of a highwayman who wanted his family taken care of, and the clock. Now that the duo is late from the mission, Portia takes it upon herself to go after her sister and beau. And subsequently gets pulled into another highwayman's adventure!

What I'm having trouble with, is what part was my favourite? Like I wrote, the banter was top notch. I also loved the banter between her and his brother, Jude. There's the way the Sight manifests itself for Portia. There's how they have the problem of his lack of money when he has all these people to take care of, and how they deal with it. It was all so good!

I don't know what the future might hold for this series. The majority of these books have now been the Hasting sisters, but unless they have another adventure, they've all had their stories. Maybe Scarlet Jack could have one? If this is the last full length book in this series, I'd be sad, but it happens. If there's more, I would absolutely pick it up. I just don't know.

This was a fantastic read, and if there's more in this series, then I'd definitely read it!

Portia Hastings has moved from the nineteenth to the twentieth century at Thorne Manor to save her sister, but she gets entangled in the life of Benedict and his efforts to save his home. There are attacks by highwaymen, ghosts and dead bodies. Portia just keeps going to solve problems and rejoin her family. Great time travel story by Kelley Armstrong.

A Castle in the Air is the 4th instalment of Kelley Armstrong’s A Stitch in Time series. I have enjoyed the series for the most part, the 2nd book I didn’t love but the rest including this one were great!

Portia Hastings is a 19th century doctor or she would be if it wasn’t the 19th century. Having followed in her own fathers footsteps, she learned most of her medical knowledge from him and continued as a physician’s assistant whenever she could.

After her sister MIranda and her husband left their time to visit the 18th century and right some wrongs of the past, Portia follows them when they fail to return as expected.

Portia is the only sister that hasn’t ventured into the Time Stitch. After much convincing (to herself), she steps into the stitch and finds herself in the 18th century. Having little knowledge of exactly where Miranda is, she seeks a carriage ride to the small town she was expected to start her search.

Gratefully accepting a ride with a wealthy shipper and his family, they are set upon by highway men and Portia is commandeered to lend medical assistance to one of the highway men when they are injured.

This is the beginning of a wonderful adventure that includes crumbling castles, ghosts and 18th century balls. Portia having believed she would never find a man that would love and marry her is pleasantly surprised when love is exactly what she finds.

Portia must find her sister and do what she can to help right the wrongs in the 18th century. But life in the 19th century is where she belongs and where her family is. How does she even begin to explain the time stitch to the man she is falling in love with?

I love Kelley Armstrong’s writing! I have experienced many of her worlds and genres and her Stitch in Time series is a must! This is another 4 star rating for me!

This is the fourth Stitch in Time book, and I have enjoyed every one of them. There is a room in Thorne Manor where occasionally, someone who knows where it is can step back in time, or return to their own time. In this book, Miranda and her husband have travelled back in time and they are late returning. Very late. Portia is concerned since this has never happened before. She herself is a doctor, so she packs her medical bag and prepares to travel back. Unfortunately for Portia, she lands in the midst of a holdup by highwaymen. One of the robbers is injured and the other highwayman insists that Portia disembark to care for his friend.

This begins Portia's adventure, as she quickly realized that these are not common brigands, but rather brothers trying to keep their lands, and help their tenants. There is a terrible drought on, and everyone is suffering. Portia also encounters an unfriendly ghost, some real villains, and romance.

I enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it and the whole series. I received an e-ARC of this book via NetGalley with no obligation to write a positive review. It was a pleasure to read and review it.

Thank you Netgalley for the advance reader copy of A Castle in the Air by Kelley Armstrong in exchange for an honest review. This is the fourth book in the series. I have read them a little bit out of order, but I still love this series. I have grown quite attached to the Hasting sisters. Rosalind, Miranda and Portia are strong, intelligent and each unique. This book centered on Portia and her adventures through time. She meets the Sterling brothers and has all sorts of hijinks. I'm looking forward to the next short story and novel and where Armstrong goes next.

Holy moly, this is hands down the best of the Stitch in Time series! The story is so engaging and the mystery so twisted that I literally could not put it down. Portia is a hero unlike any I’ve read before, and there are so many things I like about her that I can’t list them all. And the way she experienced The Sight was unexpected and disturbing. I can only hope there will be more stories set in this universe.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley.

I absolutely adore this series already, but there was something about these characters that was so appealing, so much fun to read, and so hard to put down. This was a fantastic installment to the series and truly shows how great of a writer Armstrong is and while she continues to be one of my absolute favorites and I will pick up anything she writes over and over again.

With A Castle in the Air, Kelley Armstrong cements her position as one of the best authors of enthralling historical fiction, by entwining it with a bit of science fiction and time travel.
The fourth book in the series shows that Armstrong is not running out of ideas or a way to make each installment fresh and new. The story of Portia Hastings and her personal growth after she follows her sister through the stitch is full of surprises, romance, mystery, and action, keeping you turning the pages eagerly until the end, and then wishing it wasn't over yet.
I am grateful to have received an ARC of #ACastleintheAir from #NetGalley and sincerely hope that this series continues.

Great main character, lots of action, very interesting mystery. And angry ghosts! I am really enjoying this rip in time series that armstrong os doing. Looking forward to the next one!

There is so much happening in this book that I did not want to stop reading. I love being able to have Portia's perspective this time as she has always had to rescue her younger sister, Miranda. Now, she has to jump through the stitch and do it in another century. Portia has always been the practical child, so having her perspective on how she handles everything that is thrown at her is wonderful!
I have read every book in the series (this is book number four), and this was my favorite one of the series. Since the author gives a little forward about the other books, it can be read as a standalone novel. But, I recommended you start from the beginning and enjoy those ones too. I don't normally like to read historical fiction, but Kelley Armstrong pulls you into the story right away and I get so lost in the story and what is going on, I don't think of it as a historical fiction.
