What a treat to be able to spend more time in the Heirs of Falcon Point world! This suspense will keep you engaged until the last page, hoping for more time with the cousins. As always, absolutely waiting the next one!
Another great addition to this series. Action packed and introduced new characters. Who doesn't love a Thor.
I did have high hopes for this book but unfortunately I felt it hard to engage with it until I was halfway through it.
For me I felt that the story didn’t flow as it would often switch from one scene to a different one midway through the chapter which I found hard to keep up with where they was picked up from the previous chapter.
The overall plot to the story was okay.
Wow! What a fantastic read!
Some authors set the bar for others to meet. Traci Abramson and Sian Bessey are two of those and they keep raising the bar. This book is so very good, that I had a terrible time stopping to do anything else. I started Monday afternoon and finished Tuesday morning. The characters are rich, real, and thoroughly believable. This book starts as the main characters, Isabelle and Cole, become involved in tracking and stopping a drug cartel. Unfortunately, the actions of Isabelle cause Tess and Lars (Cole’s cousins) as well as Lars’ girlfriend, Marit to become involved not only in the investigation but placing them in danger. Soon they are deeply involved facing dangers as they race to decode clues as to who they are facing. What a great read. This is part of a series but can be read as a standalone since the earlier books’ plots and characters may be mentioned but are not needed to follow the plot. That said, I highly encourage you to read the earlier books as they are excellent. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the copy. This is my review and all thoughts are my own.
I love the falcon point series! It’s so good, and this one continues the modern story line. I love the spy aspects and it’s just a great story. Highly recommend.
Thank you net galley for the advance reader copy of this novel. I loved seeing all these characters again from Lars and Marit, Tess and Bram, etc. This books had good pacing. I think the actual print rather than digital format would be better as there were times that the action/character/setting switched and there didn't seem to be a break for the brain or eye to make that distinction. Great read and author!!!
This was a fun read. We meet these characters in the Heirs of Falcon Point, Danger with Diamonds and now here.
These two couples are having growing pains as their relationships move forward. But to make that all worse, there is a group that the CIA or FBI are investigating that inadvertently becomes involved with them. In order to stop this group, lines need to be crossed, and covers grayed.
The characters are likeable, the dialogue easy to follow. The action is there, but part of me wonders why there is never any backup. Their family relationships are positive and worthy. A good read.
I could not put this book down! We pick up with our heroes from The Danger with Diamonds in Amsterdam trying to catch a group of criminals. Except things go wrong, as it typically happens in life, and chaos ensues. There's romance, danger, suspense, and more danger. You know everything is going to be okay in the end, but also you have no idea how you're going to get there.
This book makes me want to visit Amsterdam.
