This is an adorable book. The main character, Ariadna loves animals, all types of animals! As she goes through her day, she imagines that she is different animals depending on what she is doing. There is also a sweet game in the book to see if the reader can identify her favorite animal. I am an ECE teacher and my students would love this book. The illustrations are so colorful and fun.
This is a clever, fun story that will encourage imagination! The illustrations ate really cute. Thanks #NetGalley
This book was so fun! This is a great book to read to kids and to practice really looking at the illustrations (which are great!). As a teacher of beginning readers this is perfect to use different reading strategies that we learn, especially reading pictures. I loved the end too where it tells what the character's favorite animal is and if you had not guessed it, told you what to look for on each page as you went back. It is a really cute book and a great addtion to any child's book collection!
Childres story. The little girl in the story loves animals and is being compared to them. Guess which one is her favorite?
Very nicely illustrated.
(I kind of wish the book gave you an opportunity to guess the favorite; the book rather abruptly tells you.)

Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to review the advance read copy of My Favorite Animal in exchange for an honest review. Thank you also to the author and publisher for approving my review request.
This was unfortunately not a favorite of our's. The illustrations were kind of bland, and the story was basically just giving adjectives for ourselves that we can also give to certain animals. Just overall not very exciting for a toddler
My daughter and I read this one together. I loved how each page had a different color scheme. The illustrations were very eye catching. We loved talking about all of the animals together. I can also relate some of the text to my own daughter haha.
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to read and review this one!
A nice story inviting children to make their own animal noises as they follow Ariadna through the book.
The book wants you to work out what Ariadna’s favorite animal is. I could not work it out until I got to the hints at the end – then, of course it was obvious – but I had to read the whole book again to make sure! A good hook to encourage rereading!
Each page is filled with wonderful illustrations of the various animals that Ariadna imitates. It is a great way of introducing children to the sounds and purported characteristics of a selection of animals (cat, lion, peacock, shark, bull, rabbit, puppy, penguin, bird, tortoise bear, mouse and elephant).
A lovely book to buy your favourite young child – I know I will.
What is your favorite animal?
What a lovely story about a little girl and her love of animals! Absolutely gorgeous illustrations. When we were done reading, my son shouted “read it again mommy!”
Super cute book for children. Loved at the end that it’s also a seek and find and to go back thru the book to find all the cats. Will definitely be picking this up for my little once it’s released. Super cute, and super accurate with anyone with toddlers know they definitely at like all those animals during the day.
This was such a cute fun book! My 2 daughters, ages 2 and 5, loved it. They enjoyed the colorful pages and all the different animals
Loving the art style!!!! The analogy and animal's description is spot on. Having a lot of fun finding the cats!!! 😺
