"Stay my baby just this way
till forever and a day."

What a simple, yet massively charming book this is!

Rhyming text, interspersed with pages of photos of adorable (and diverse) babies, and the ones who love them.

Warning - if you are pining for a child or a grandchild, or just missing the tiny, loveable things your kids used to be, this one may bring on the waterworks.

Adorable pictures of babies for the win! This would make a great board book if it isn't one already. The rhyming is a little jilty in places, but nothing unbearable.

A cute book with a nice rhythm and flow. The pictures of real people and babies in the book are a nice addition as young babies and toddlers enjoy looking at pictures of real babies. I love that the author chose to reflect Canada’s multiculturalism by including individuals of different race and colour throughout the book. This book has a heartfelt message that can be read again and again. This book is a best suited for children 2 and under, which is the recommended age on the inside cover.

Thank you to Orca Book Publishers and NetGalley for providing me with a free electronic copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley, along with the publisher for the eARC! Stay My Baby is a cute book highlighting families with a young child. The real photographs in the book make this a wonderful addition for young readers. I also like how the children throughout the books are different ages. This is a great first nonfiction book for very young readers!

Stay My Baby is an adorable book to read to your little one. It showcases how special and precious they are at that stage. The pictures will melt your heart! This can help little ones learn some basic body vocabulary (hands, eyes, fingers, toes, etc), and will always be a reminder for kids how precious they are!

Thanks Netgalley for the opportunity to review this eARC in exchange for my honest review on the book!

his book is just so sweet! The photos of adults and children together will likely make adults smile, while young children will enjoy seeing others their size in these pages. The simple rhyming text assures children how much they are wanted and loved. All in all, a delightful book for the littlest ones and their grownups.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Orca Book Publishers. All opinions are my own.

This book is perfect for first time parents to enjoy with their baby before bedtime. The rhyming words and pictures will keep them entertained and when they get older, they will learn those words and their body parts pretty easily. I also love the multicultural families represented in the photographs. Cute!
