Hope Kayrs-Kyllwood is an anomaly, the only known female vampire she can visit dream worlds but can't heal herself and is no stronger than a human. She is the Lock in the prophecy of how to kill the immortal evil Ulric, along with the blood of the three Keys and The Seven. Now all grown up, she is the strategic leader of a small group of Realm warriors rescuing Enhanced women before they can be kidnapped by the Kurjans.

There has been a love triangle practically all of Hope's life between her best friend, half-demon Paxton and the heir, now leader, of the Kurjans, Drake. Hope believes her fate is to bring peace between the Kurjans and the Realm with the help of her childhood friend Drake.

And so it ends, after sixteen novels did Rebecca Zanetti deliver the goods, or like so many others did the series end with more of a whimper? Let me put you out of your misery, it was spectacular! There are epic battles, betrayals, many, many betrayals, surprises and a deeply satisfying resolution of the Ulric problem.

LOVED it.

I received an ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

What an end to the latest set of Dark Protectors book. I really this one. I appreciated that Rebecca summarized all the players and back story without making it repetitive. This book has everything - action, romance, mystery and twists and turns! I will always read a book written by Rebecca. Just what I suspected from this book! I look forward to the next ones!!

Yes, finally we get Hope's book! Can you tell that I have been wondering what is going to happen with Hope, Drake and Paxton?

On a mission to save two enhanced women, there is an unexpected side mission that takes precedence and is it a shocker! Sorry no spoilers on that.

Secrets are revealed that are unexpected and also explain why Paxton has been acting they way he has been.

I really don't want to say much so I don't spoil all the reveals and just say it was an epic ending with all the kings, the seven, the keys, the lock and Ulric. This was the final showdown that was prophesied and I could not put this book down. It was great because many of the main characters from other books were part of this story and I love when we see them again.

This book ends this story arc but I hope that we find out more - what happened to all the enhanced women, when does Hunter return, and just love seeing all the characters further down the road.

Wow Rebecca did it again!! The final book to this portion of the dark protectors series was absolutely amazing 🤩 I was not expecting the similarities between Janie story and now her story but I was don beautifully. First with Paxton’s betrayal then find his true background of being half demon half kurgan. I ❤️ the intro to all the cousins working together now as adults. Hopefully we see their stories in the future

Absolutely brilliant I loved Hope's story their were so many twists and turns and a couple totally came from left field .It was the perfect ending for her and I loved seeing all of the older characters along with some of the new ones I can't wait to find out who the next book is about and where the series is going.

We have all waited so patiently to read Hope’s story and this was everything we had hoped for and more! Hope has always knew that she would have a huge decision to make and when the time finally comes it is so much easier to choose than she ever imagined. After all of the fights, research, energy, and fear about how to get rid of Ulric, we finally see them all come together to battle the evil leader. I absolutely loved this book! I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I wanted to love this book, but I just found if okay. I loved the hero, Paxton. It was great seeing him from a child in the earlier series and "watching" him grow and fall more and more for Hope. Hope despite being a prophet her whole life, just had blinders on and was really annoying about her future. The plot was good and the ending was great a full circle moment. I will keep reading more from the realm as long as Ms. Zanetti keeps writing them.

What an ending! I honestly didn't see it ending that way. I had no idea how they were going to take down Ulric but I also did not see that coming.

I have to say I had a hard time seeing Hope, Paxton and Drake as adults in this book. We've gotten to see them grow up together as kids in all the previous books, that I guess I wasn't ready for them to be adults. Maybe it has something to do with knowing this would end this series which I have enjoyed so much. Either way, I do love who Hope ended up with and thought this was a great way to finalize the story.

This series has been such a treat to read. I loved all the characters. I loved all the action. I loved how close these characters were and how they had each others backs and even strangers backs. All the main characters in each book truly were protectors.

Hope is the only female vampire ever born. She has known all her life that it would be up to her to bring peace. She is the leader of a team of warriors and a strategic genius. Hope is torn between two men. One is Drake a Kurjan and he believes that if he mates Hope it will bring peace. He has known Hope for years but only in the dreamworld. He has became King of the Kurjan nation. The other is Paxton, Hope thinks he is traveling the world study butterflies. Paxton and Hope have been best friends since they were toddlers and he went to live with an uncle when his father was thrown out of the Realm. Paxton will do whatever it takes to keep Hope safe. Their world is about to erupt and it will try and take Hope with it. A common enemy has resurfaced and it'll take all the nations and Hope to defeat it.

OMG!!!! What do you say about this remarkable story? Ms. Zanetti has outdone herself with this one. Plenty of surprises. Bloody. A little sexy. I was hooked from the very first page.

This book is full of surprises from the beginning until the end and it is so worth the read. If you're a fan of the series you will not be disappointed and if you're new to this you also won't be disappointed but please go back so you understand it before you read.

Roll up, roll up because you can finally discover if this ends with friends to lovers or can a bad boy be redeemed ? Yes it’s finally time to place your bets because answers are here and shocks and surprises too !
The Dark Protectors series has been such a wild ride with its uber growly alpha males and the women that thwart, taunt and finally bring them crashing to their knees but trust me that’s a good thing ! We have followed for several books now the triangle between Hope, Pax and Drake that began when they were children and finally everything is coming to its ultimate conclusion . Wars have been won and lost but perhaps the greatest fight of all is for Hopes heart .
I think what I love about this series is the fact that the world building is consistent and the characters stay true to themselves and there’s no unexpected tangents that confuse or muddy things . In a long running series that’s rare and I applaud the author for keeping readers entertained . Yes perhaps sometimes the males are overbearing, large and in charge ( well except for Benny but he’s unique ) but it’s paranormal romance at its finest and I have no complaints about that . Memorable, fast and sexy and definitely a must read,
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested on NetGalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair
