It’s here, and I don’t know whether to celebrate or cry because the series I’ve been reading for so long is finally coming to a close. Realm lovers…you know who you are, the OG Talen crew, this one’s for you, and if you are new and have only read the Seven arc, you’ll love this too. Paxton & Hope were FIRE! We see a lot of side arcs wrapped up here as well as the main threat from Ulric resolved. There’s plenty glimpses of our series favorites, Hey Kane, I see you, and some new characters are given a role. All in all you will not be disappointed by this ending, but I do highly suggest you go and start with Talen and work your way through the DP series and Seven series first.

This was a complimentary advanced reader copy provided by the author via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

What a stunning way to end this series and the war between the Realm and Kurjan nation it is hard to review without giving away the storyline but let me tell you Rebecca gas seriously outdone herself with this stunning ending. Hope Kayrs-Kyllwood as the only female born vampire has always knows the future of the real rests on her and she always knew she would have to make a choice but how do you chose between love and loyalty and peace and war You will have to read to see what evolves between Drake the heir to Kurjons and Hope and Paxton the warrior who will always protect her. This is masterful storytelling at its best

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC and for introducing me this author. First, I have to say that the cover does not help the book a lot. It gives a false shallow image of the book, which has much more depth and background details that can be missed. It is a paranormal fantasy book including vampires demons shifters and even witches, without huge info dumps and the writing is quite simple but does not lack intellect or irritate. I read the book in two sittings and I will definitely start the series (each are standalone but interconnected in a way). Thanks!

Warrior’s Hope concludes the story arch involving The Seven, and what a conclusion it was! I’ll admit I wasn’t always a Paxton fan, but he really comes through in this book, and I feel readers get a better understanding of what he’s been doing over the years and why he was doing it. There’s also an unexpected twist thrown in about him, which I didn’t see coming. Readers also get to see a side of Drake that I wasn’t entirely expecting, but it all works out for the best.

There’s an epic showdown with Ulric; I had wondered how they’d be able to take him down, and the question has finally been answered. I didn’t expect the way it happened though. And, as a warning, it was a little gruesome in spots. Still, it was great to see everyone come together to finally end his reign of terror, and I enjoyed getting to see that a lot of characters from the earlier books in the series played a large role in this one.

While this is the conclusion of this arch, I do hope that the Dark Protectors series continues on, because there are other characters I’d like to see more of, such as King Dage’s son, Hunter, who has been undercover with the Kurjans.

Warrior’s Hope is an action-packed book that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. It’s a must-read for fans of the series, but for people starting out, this is not a standalone novel. You should at least start with the eighth book in the series, Vampire’s Faith, which is where the story arc involving The Seven starts. Each book builds on the previous one, so if you start out with this book, you’ll most likely be confused about everything that’s going on.

Wow. Just wow. This one was absolutely worth the wait. I'm constantly amazed that I can still be completely surprised at things in this "realm" that I didn't see coming, but there it is. It tied together SO many stories with a fabulous ending. I loved this and will absolutely read it again.

I received and ARC from the publisher of this story.

The way this story went took me completely by surprise. It was everything I want and more; the final showdown with Ulric, Hood’s HEA. After reading the prior books, I wasn’t sure which way I wanted the story to go. But Zanetti certainly exceeded my expectations.

The three main characters have come so far, from kids to young adults. I may, or may not have liked them at certain times throughout the story. I can’t believe this is the final book. So many questions answered. It was an amazing finale!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC.

4.5/ 5 stars
Warrior's Hope is the 16th book in the Dark Protectors series. Hope's book has been teased for a long time and it's finally here!. Hope's book contains a love triangle but it's pretty obvious who is going to end up together so I wouldn't let that put you off if you aren't a love triangle fan. This book is very fast-paced with a lot of action. We also get to see many characters from previous books which is also fun. I enjoyed all the things we learned about Pax as the story went on and definitely would recommend this book.

Rebecca Zanetti's latest addition to the Dark Protectors series, "Warrior's Hope," is a pulse-pounding adventure that brings the captivating love triangle involving the only female vampire ever born to an explosive conclusion. With elements of duty, love, peace, and war in the mix, this novel takes readers on an exhilarating journey where the fate of beloved characters and battling factions hangs in the balance.

As someone who has followed Hope, Drake, and Pax's development since their youth, I was impressed with how the author continued to evolve their characters in this installment. Particularly, Pax's growth was remarkable, and I found myself truly invested in the outcome of their relationships. While I won't delve into spoilers, the romance between the characters is sizzling, with palpable sexual tension that keeps you turning the pages. In the end, Hope's choice left me satisfied.

One of the highlights of "Warrior's Hope" is the opportunity to reunite with beloved characters from earlier books in the series, such as Talen, Dage, and Zane. Meeting the adult children of the original couples was a heartwarming experience that added depth and nostalgia to the story.

The novel is not short on action, featuring a fast-paced plot filled with unexpected twists and turns. There's one particular twist that blindsided me, showcasing Zanetti's talent for keeping her readers on the edge of their seats. The epic battle towards the end of the book was nothing short of spectacular, and the revelations surrounding Vero's story added another layer of intrigue.

However, it's worth noting that Hope's stubbornness and occasional naivety may test your patience at times. Nevertheless, her flaws make her a more relatable and authentic character.

"Warrior's Hope" is a rollercoaster of emotions, with moments that will have your heart pounding and leave you breathless in anticipation. The story unfolds with captivating drama, suspense, and a generous dose of action. As a reader, I was completely engrossed in this wild ride.

In conclusion, Rebecca Zanetti delivers yet again with "Warrior's Hope," providing a satisfying conclusion to the Dark Protectors series. It's a must-read for fans of paranormal romance, filled with passion, excitement, and a dose of nostalgia for long-time readers. Prepare to be captivated from beginning to end, as the forces of good and evil collide in an unforgettable showdown.

Waahhh! I could have read this series forever. I tried to savor this one, but then I would toss and turn thinking and wondering. I could not string it out, I had to have answers. There was twists, turns, surprises, woah was there surprises, some steam, some snark as well as a little heart shredding and we did get a HEA. I have not one issue with this book, except it ends! I loved this so much that even know how the complete 3 level books end, I need to reread. Thank you for the arc! I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions. #Warrior's Hope #DarkProtectors #RebeccaZanetti #Kensington #NetGalley

Finally we learn who Hope will be with! Will it be #teamPaxton or #teamDrake? Or will it be a delicious menage? I have been looking forward to this conclusion for years now. Especially now that Hope is mostly grown up. Let's just say, this story both exceeded my expectations whilst giving me GRAVE disappointments. It's like I expected some things to happen and yet I'm still upset and surprised it happened. It reminds me of the parable of the turtle and the scorpion crossing the river.

Hope is surprised by Paxton and what he's been up to since his uncle took over carry for him. We learn that covert groups generally start with a good intent only to somehow go sideways so badly. Behaviours that didn't exactly make sense from Paxton become more understandable as the story unfolds. What surprised me was Drake. Hope has always aspired him to be so much more. I didn't really believe Drake would be the good guy and I also kind of bought into maybe what Hope "hoped for" would come true. Let's say both Hope and I were turtles in this case. So disappointed!

Still, I am happy Hope was able to resolve the conflicts she had. I liked how not every villain was irredeemable. The showdown was spectacular and a huge gesture of loyalty, love, and self sacrifice. I liked it. The pace of this story does start out a bit slow and then quickly picks up. So many of the loose ends are now tied off. What will happen next?

This is not a standalone book. This should be read as the last book in this series (for now?) Recommended to paranormal romance readers who want their love triumphs over evil themes.

Rebecca Zanetti never disappoints! This installment in the Realm world is just what the doctor ordered. The book has it all: action, adventure, romance, drama, serious heat and all the feels.

Hope is very well named. She's a hellion with a pure heart. She has loved Paxton forever but now it's changed. It's full of passion and uncertainty with her world changing around her. This book is full of heart pounding action and is an incredible read. Ulric's ultimate fate was astounding. I loved it!

This ARC review is coming to you from someone new to the Paranormal genre, not just new to this series. So why have I dipped my toe into the paranormal, kicking it off with book 16 in the Dark Protectors series you may be asking, well, I am a massive fan of Rebecca Zanetti! I love the characters she creates and way each series she has put out has drawn me in, having read all of the Deep Ops, Sin/Blood Brothers, Anna Albertini files, Laurel Snow and even the very sizzling Mavericks of Montana series, they cover crime thriller, suspense romance, that is what I most commonly read (some historical romance and yes, saucy romance some of which would technically come under the erotica category). I select my next read based on my moods and I’m sure, any other avid reader, you have go-to authors you know can deliver what you are after.

Having read all the books available in the series outside Rebecca’s paranormal genre, I decided to pick up Warrior’s Hope, book #16 in the Dark Protector series and as with all her other books, she transported me, swept up with great characters, action, romance, some steamy scenes, it was a page turner that had me hooked to the end to see how it would all play out. All the ingredients of a good suspense romance just set in a paranormal world.

Hope, the strong, smart strategist, full of optimism and goal of brokering peace, is paired with Paxton, a strong, protective warrior who is determined to ensure Hope’s safety no matter what. It is a story about friendship and love, betrayal, and good triumphing over evil.

Having come in at book #16, I am sure there is a lot of background that I was missing going into this book that no doubt would have added to the story, however I felt I could read this as a stand-alone book. For avid readers of this series and knowing these two main characters before starting this book as no doubt they have featured along the way in the other books, you are in for some surprise revelations about Pax, but that is all I will divulge, don’t want to have any spoilers thrown in here.

She also knows she'll have to choose between Drake the leader of the Kurjan nation and Paxton her best friend and Protector who she's known since childhood . As the final battle draws near truths and secrets come out . Hope must decide who to trust before it's to late . This story is amazing . It's action packed and intriguing . A perfect ending for sure . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Warrior's Hope (Dark Protectors #16) by Rebecca Zanetti
I have loved this series and enjoyed reading how it all comes together. Hope, Pax, and Drake have been friends since they were children. So many feels and angst, destiny, war, fear, deception, all the family intrigue, evil, romance, a little humor, and tears, so many loose ends and mystery's solved, and steam all to get us to the HEA.
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Easy-to-read Tear-jerker Happily Ever After Entertaining Unpredictable Informative Wonderful characters Scary Tragic Action-packed Page-turner Romantic Great world building Steamy Witty Twisted.

I've missed a few books in this series. But the main characters had been children in the previous books I've read. It was strange to have them suddenly adults, and there are mentions of events that occurred in the books I missed. So I do recommend readers follow the series as the events in each book is built from events of previous books.

This was a quick read for me. I imagine it was because the series has gotten so repetitive. Realm Warriors must save human females and fight the bad guys. Given that characters don't age in this series, not too many characters are introduced from book to book. So the outcome is somewhat predictable.

I've really enjoyed this series and have been blessed to have been able to do ARCs for most of these books. I am happy that the story is now done. 16 books with other side novels is a little long, but the ending was great! Totally wrapped up the story with of course a lot of battles, angst, and conflict. The story left us with a sense of rightness and peace but also with the potential of future conflict depending on how it goes.
I loved seeing Hope struggle with her heart and mind to try and do the best for her people. She has the makings of a great leader someday!
Learning more about Pax was heartbreaking and enlightening and seeing him as an adult was fun and weird as we've been with him and Hope since they were little.
Overall great story and ending to this amazing series!
