It was an okayish read, it was enjoyable and I laughed a few times which made me bump it up to a three star ratings the plot was okay very basic nothing out of the box and the romance was not very angsty so that was a big turn off but I really liked how the characters were written.
This is a book that you should read if you absolutely love paranormal romances and if you are okay with romance and smut but minimal angst.
The writing also had potential, quite better than most my current reads. I will give this author another try.
Paxton Paxton Paxton---Oh how you have grown up and soooo many secrets you hide.
This is the finale and the author gives us a crash ban g boom of an ending. The bad guys are still out there and Hope has known all along that she is the key. When everything seems to be going against the King and his loyal people, Hope puts her life on the line and does what she thinks is best for the Realm. Oh how wrong she was!
Not many insider thoughts about this one. You need to read it yourself to enjoy the story as it unfolds. I will miss this group of immortals!
Great conclusion to the story arc. Great series! Love all the characters this author has brought us.
4 stars!

I went into this book expecting a perfect closure to a 16 book series, and instead I left with something even better. I left with the hope that we get at least 6 more books from Rebecca Zanetti.
Like her parents before her (Their love story can be read in Marked), Hope is left with the world's burdens on her shoulders from a young age and she is forced to make some hard choices. Hope is halfway in love with her childhood friend Paxton and fully in love with the idea of saving the world hand in hand with Drake, which made it hard for her to choose between the two men and made me worried for how the book would end because I obviously had a favorite.
I do wish the book would have been longer and I wish we had seen less of Paxton and Drake from the other books in the series, as they aged, so we could have been just as shocked as Hope when things came to light and decisions had to be made. While I love tension that is quickly resolved and jumping into the action of a book, I felt like some things were rushed when they should have been heartbreaking for our FMC and a lot of characters weren't given the full introduction they deserved.
I will say, however, Rebecca did an amazing job of shocking me with the twists and turns in this book, and I never wanted it to end. I really hope this isn't the end and that we get a new leg of this series starring the newest generation of vampires, demons, witches, shifters, and kurjans!
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Warrior's Hope is a roller coaster ride of emotions, and in true Zanetti fashion, twists you are NOT expecting. AMAZING! You will LOVE IT! Great finale to the second arc of Dark Protectors.
Warrior's Hope is a can't put down romantic suspense that will draw you in from the beginning and take you through unexpected twists and deceitful turns. What is Hope, the Realm princess, willing to sacrifice? Can she go against her prophecy marking if it leads to endangering the people who mean everything to her? Drake and Paxton have promised to protect Hope, but her two childhood friends have also sworn death upon each other. This exciting love triangle builds as Hope has to choose between fate and her heart's intuition to try to save them both and find peace between Drake's and Paxton's enemy species.
Rebecca Zanetti is an amazing story writer and her characters will pull you into their immortal world. I highly recommend you read the Dark Protectors series from the beginning. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.
Hope's story was everything I hoped for and more. From the start your not sure who Hope will end up with Paxton or Drake, I've always had my favorite but her story had so many shocking surprises, drama, and over all romance. It makes for a cant put down book for sure. I have enjoyed this series from the start and hope their are more to come but I don't know if they can beat Hope's story it was just that good.
I don’t even know where to begin…Rebecca Zanetti is a master at writing books that grab hold of you and don’t let go. I loved this book so much, the last one (?) in her Dark Protectors series!
Hope is the first daughter born of the demon and vampire nations. She is the lock and she is battle trained, but she’s not sure she’s even immortal! She’s known since she was little that she would be the one to broker peace between the nations, or die trying. She’s ready.
She’s been friends with Paxton and Drake since she was a little girl and always knew she’d end up with one of them, but which one? It was interesting to see the dynamics between Hope and Paxton versus Hope and Drake now that they are grown. I SO wanted to skip to the end and see who she ends up with but I decided not to spoil the ending for myself! It was a very intense and action-packed book with lots of twists and turns. There’s a lot of heat in this book as well as a lot of emotion. Everything you would expect from a Rebecca Zanetti book!
I have loved this series from the beginning (Fated) and have to say Rebecca Zanetti did not disappoint with this final book in this series. She is a phenomenal writer and when one of her books comes out, I want to be first in line to get it. This book has been well anticipated and will not disappoint. You’re going to love it!
I want to thank Kensington (and NetGalley) for giving me the chance to read and review this ARC. Thank you so much!
20 stars!! I was so excited for this book and it DID NOT disappoint. Hope was so strong and brave. Here determination to save the world shows just what a great person she is. Pax- did NOT see that one coming. He is over the top alpha and has many plot twists in this book!! I love this world it just keeps getting better and better. I loved their chemistry!!
Thank you for selecting me to receive an advanced copy. I so surprised and. I had to finish a book I was reading before starting WH; I needed a time slot when I knew I’d be able to read it uninterrupted. Beautiful story some unexpected twists and an excellent wrap up… I think there are still some unanswered questions…we’ll have to see what’s next in store for the Dark Protectors. Zanetti writes an awesome story…I only wish she would have brought in a little more closure with the Seven and their mates. Thanks again and happy reading!!
Rebecca, has done it once again with all the twist and turns your not sure which way is up. I'm going to have to go find my Thesaurus as I feel I'm always say the same thing. Awesome, amazing and fanatic. But truthfully it's a great read and I wasn't able to put it down. Can't wait to see where Rebecca is going to take us next.
Well, I didn't entirely see that coming! Since I started reading the Dark Protectors series I've been intrigued by Hope and her story arc. I couldn't quite see how things were going to play out, but I was dying to see.
I have to admit that I was not sure about the way that this one seemed to be heading, but in the end, I was happy with everything that transpired and it was a great ending to the story. I'm a bit reluctant to say too much for fear that I might give things away. I will say though, that some of the names of certain characters perhaps hold hints to what might happen.
Although this is an end of sorts, I can see that there's still plenty of scope for the story to continue with some other characters that we have been introduced to in the course of these books.
A great read and one that works on its own, but that would probably work best if you have read the other books in the series and have followed Hope and her friends as they have grown up and headed towards their destiny.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and given voluntarily.
Until this gets released, the only thing I will say is this book was everything and more I was hoping for!
I want to go back and reread it and then listen to the audio once it's available!!
Really hoping Gabra Zackman will narrate this book!!!
First of all, I would like to thank Rebecca Zanetti and NetGalley for giving me an ARC for Warriors Hope.
Rebecca has once again delivered a great book with lots of twists, turns, betrayal and drama. Warrior’s hope has been my most anticipated book since we receive a glimpse of Hope’s life towards the end of Marked and throughout the journey of the other Books.
Hope, the main female lead, shoulders a huge burden is stuck with doing what she wants and what she deems as fate. The 2 male leads in her life have different expectation. I won’t go into much of the scenes as I definitely recommend reading and experiencing Hope’s journey.
I absolutely love the fact that the author incorporates the children of the other characters in Warriors Hope. It was great seeing how the kids grew up so much like their parents. I wish there were more scenes about them, however, what I have read so far has been great and I can’t wait to read more about them in the future.
I definitely recommend readers to read this story. It can be read as a standalone since there is enough context throughout the book however, I would readers to read book 1 to understand all the characters.
Warrior's Hope is part of the Dark Protectors series.
Hope the first and only female born vampire, feels it is her destiny to change the world, Unlike the rest of her kind she has no special powers but has a very strategic mind.
She is torn between her childhood friend Drake who is the leader of the kurjans and their marriage would ensure peace between their two races. Then there is Paxton her best friend a half-demon who has always been there for her and been her protector.
This book is full of action and a lot of the series saga is concluded here. Loved the plot twists along the way. The characters are really well rounded.
I would recommend this book to any paranormal romance fans out there.
An Advanced Review Copy was generously provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, comments and opinions are my own.
First let me say this is a must read. The whole series is worth reading. This story closes off the series and I couldn’t be happier how it ended. All the twist and turns within the plot of the story captivates the reader. Being able to revisit previous characters is like going home. If you want to fall down a rabbit hole and fall in love with great characters who have great stories to tell, I recommend this series and this book.
Do you know that feeling that occurs when you FINALLY fall into a book that just feels "right?" Right for that moment maybe, or just right for being right? Am I making sense? Probably not.
Well anyway, I read a lot. I mean A LOT. For whatever reason, the last several books that I've read have been okay. Some better than others, but nothing that knocked my socks off. Yes, it's probably just been one of those weeks. (It's me, hi, I'm the problem, it's me....)
So......I started this ARC and was immediately catapulted back into this world that I had forgotten how much I loved, I then remembered that we were getting to the end of this HUGE story arc (and almost 20 books) and that MAYBE, just MAYBE, we were going to get the resolution that had been dangling back and forth in front of us for a while - actually for quite a while and a couple of different storylines (The Seven, and the "situation" with Hope and Drake and Pax)
Without going into spoilers...........YES!
This was it.
This was the culmination of ALL of those books that it took to get here. This series, which started with Hope's GRANDPARENTS falling in love and all of THAT drama and now we are front and center with her storyline.
We made it.
Unfortunately, the whole no spoiler's thing makes it extremely difficult to really say too much. So let me just say this. It was worth it. I have fallen in love with every couple, every arrogant, alpha stubborn male from the Vampire, Shifter, Witch, Demon Realms and those in between. I've loved the strong women who took these men on and decided there was more to them than meets the eye.
I LOVED the absolutely crazy world that Ms. Zanetti created with Kings and Kurgans and Dragons and.....well, everything. I'll even admit that I had absolutely NO idea how in the world she was planning on getting us out of the current storyline. I mean, the world was basically ending......
And yes, I wanted to throttle Hope many, many times over the years for being so freaking trusting...but...what are you gonna do?
Yes, there were some moments in this book that were , let's just say...."over the top".
Did we push the believability factor just a bit? Yep.
But so what? It worked. And honestly, I loved every minute of it and was sorrier than I thought I would be when I got to the last page. There is not really too much more praise that you can give an author than to be sad when their book ends.
Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this ARC. The opinions above are mine and mine alone.
The Dark Protectors series story arc involving 'the Seven' concludes with the fate of the world resting on the shoulders of the only female vampire ever born. She must make a choice between duty and love, peace and war, with the fate of everyone she loves hanging in the balance.
OVERVIEW:
Hope Kayrs-Kyllwood - prophet, strategist, heir to two of the most powerful immortal families and grandniece to the King of the Realm - has always known that her fate was to end the war between the Realm and the Kurjan nation. While Hope has no idea of her exact role or what it will cost her to save those she loves from another devastating war, she knows that her destiny is inextricably linked with those of her childhood friends Drake and Paxton;.
Drake, the leader of the Kurjan nation, has always believed Hope is fated to be his mate and his nation's queen. He’s counting on her to know it too and that their union will prevent war. Paxton Phoenix, Hope’s best friend and protector since childhood is now a warrior who would kill and die for her without a second thought. With timing running out, these three friends are on a collision course to decide the fate of the world.
SUMMARY:
WARRIOR'S HOPE is the final entry in the battle of "the Seven" to destroy the Kurjan spiritual leader of the Cyst, Ulrich, Readers who are not familiar with the series should absolutely read some if not all of the previous books to really enjoy this one. There is a tremendous amount of history that while touched upon is far too much for a novice to unpack and absorb from this book alone. Rebecca Zanetti has built an intriguing and engaging world populated by the vampires who lead the Realm and those in the demon, shifter, witch and dragon nations as well as their enemies the Kurjans. Through multiple novels, she has created dominate male and intelligent female characters for whom readers can actively root.
There are plenty of reasons to root for Hope as she struggles to know which way to turn to fulfill her destiny. Does she trust Pax the boy who has always been her protector or Drake the enemy who seems to truly want peace?
WARRIOR'S HOPE is a lesser version of the love triangle featured in the earlier books in the series. Unfortunately, Hope is not the most compelling of heroines having neither the passion nor the drive to make her particularly memorable. Paxton and Drake are echoes of Zane and Kalin, acting more like a rinse and repeat of prior action than an original story. Finally, the ending wrap-up feels rushed and after such much lead-up with the amazing stories of 'the Seven" and their battle to defeat Ulrich unsatisfying.
For readers of the Dark Protector series, WARRIOR'S HOPE will be a must read if only because of the love for the world Rebecca Zanetti has created. It's an enjoyable read and a recommend for fans of the series.

This is my all time favorite Dark Protectors book. I'm going to try really hard to not reveal any spoilers but OMG this story was awesome! To say Rebecca Zanetti surprised me at every turn would be putting it mildly, she blew me away. The love triangle of Hope, Pax and Drake makes me want to reread Hope's parents' book, "Marked." Janie faced similar life altering decisions but the women in this series are strong and capable, the men just have to keep up.
Wow! Hope & Pax have been our darlings if you have followed this series. Paxton, boy oh boy...did he just set the pages on fire??? Uber Alpha alert! I loved how he was determined no matter what got thrown in his way. Hope did have me yelling when she seemed confused or stubborn to do what everyone didn't want her to. Every page had me on the edge. I just wanted to reach the end & at the same time not! You cannot but love it! True review of my ARC!
I so looked forward to this book and to get an early copy was amazing! I loved the book! Hope and Pax are my new favorites!! I look forward to the next book in the series! Hopefully it’s about Hunter!
