Shelly is an attorney who has also written a romance book based on an affair she had in the 1990s with a surfer named Jason Mattis whom she only saw once a year for five years. In 2019 Jason shows up at her book signing and she must come to terms with the fact that they still have the same chemistry they had before. But before that could rekindle their romance they have to overcome some obstacles.
