There are so many resources available to Service members who are near or at retirement age and that can be quite overwhelming. This book is a great springboard for that population, detailed and organized, written by someone who is clearly a subject matter expert in this field.

I found this to be very a helpful and easy to understand. I liked the way it was broken down. My hubby is a veteran and this book has some great information for us to use.

The military offers many benefits and it can be difficult to navigate through each. I've found that prior to this book there wasn't one single resource that was comprehensive. The author of this book is extremely knowledgable in regards to veterans benefits. He is the former Under Secretary for Benefits in the Department of Veterans. The book is organized well and contains a lot of helpful and useful information as well as links for more resources. The eligibility for each benefit is also listed which is very helpful. I highly recommend all veterans/veteran spouses to pick up this book! It will help you make sure that you are maximizing your military benefits.
