this book is the embodiment of a cliché-filled 2000s romcom. it’s funny, it’s swoon-worthy, and it’s fast-paced!! it’s the perfect book for a quick romantic getaway. it’s the type of book that will get you out of a reading slump. even better yet, it’s the type of book you can read in one sitting!!
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for granting me free access to the advanced digital copy of this book.
a cute and fun little read. I enjoyed the characters and the story, it was a fun book and would recommend.
Ticket to You was such a delightful read! While the ending might have been somewhat predictable, I couldn't have cared less! It's one of those books that you just can't put down.
The author truly excelled in portraying the passion each character had for their respective interests, whether it was fashion or the great outdoors. I loved Ophelia's strength and determination in making a name for herself. The dynamics within the family, the growth of the characters, and the depth of emotions throughout the story were all wonderfully executed.
Overall, I really liked this and I’d definitely recommend it!
AWESOME!! Thank you NetGalley and Florence Fields for granting me access to this book in exchange for an honest review.
What an adorable and lighthearted enemies to lovers rom-com that will have you smiling, laughing and crying! Ticket to you is a slow burn romance which features one-bed trope, close proximity, dual POV, short chapters, witty banter, tension, chemistry, fade to black and he falls first and hard!! I absolutely loved this book so much! Once I started reading I could not put it down! I am just blown away that this is a debut novel!?! How is this possible?? Honestly, if you enjoy Emily Henry books you will love this one! I cannot recommend it enough!! ALL the feels!! One of my favorite rom-coms for 2023!!🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
Ophelia and Adam are both journalist working for the same publishing company. After a horrible encounter at the company holiday party, Ophelia considers Adam to be pretentious and judgmental. Basically, she never wants anything to do with him. Three months later, Ophelia learns that the company is laying off people and her job is in jeopardy. They give her one more chance to prove that she is worth saving. In order to accomplish this task, Ophelia will have to take a weeklong work trip to Europe with Adam. Reluctantly, she agrees to the trip because she will not let him blow this chance for her. Will they be able to work together and get along? What could possibly go wrong? Do they have more in common than they thought or are they truly complete opposites? Eventually, every trip comes to an end!
Overall, this is a quick and delightful read that has everything I love in a rom-com! Plus this cover is sooo cute!!! Do yourself a favor and read this book!
This well written book is lovely, funny and heartfelt, elevated with emotional depth and realistic tones as this travel romance transitions back into real life. Not to mention clean and feel-good. Wonderful!
Wow! This book! Absolutely loved every second of this book.
I liked that this book was fast paced and the characters are quite likeable.
Let me start by saying how much i liked the writing of this book!! It was for sure a page turner, and the perfect book to read in the summer like I did. It was a very sweet romance with amazing character development, very easy to read. However i found that it wasn’t my cup of tea; it was very simple in my opinion. No major events happened and nothing really shook me whilst reading it. It was, however, a very cute romance book!
This was as great as an enemies to lovers gets. It was a cosy romance with a hint of spice. It was cute, romantic and completely feel-good! The characters were relatable and this was such a good time.
I loved that this was a rom com! It included one of my favorite tropes, enemies to lovers which made this book more enjoyable! I could not put this book down as soon as i picked it up!
Opposites as they are, Adam was always meant to be with Ophelia and their picturesque trip across Europe just provided the perfect setting for all the falling in love to happen. The fact that we got to join them on this journey is just lovely.
"I'm yours, Ophelia. I think I've been yours since the moment we met."
This is a great rom-com complete with a big and lovign family and several big and small gestures as well. Thank you NetGalley for my advance copy. Now that I've finished this one in about a day, I wonder how it took me so long to pick it up in the first place.
Ticket to You has a very nice nostalgic feel to it. As someone who spent a lot of time in Europe, I appreciated the different nods to cultures and in general, it made me want to relive years falling in love abroad. This is great for armchair travel with a swoony love interest.
I was lucky enough to receive this book as an ARC.
Ticket To You is a delightful exploration of love, adventure, and the unexpected connections that can blossom when two seemingly opposite worlds collide.
Ophelia Brooks and Adam Abrams, both journalists with wildly different tastes and personalities, are brought together in a disastrous encounter that leaves them with more than just bruised egos. What starts as a fashionista colliding with an outdoorsman takes a delightful turn when their publishing company faces a crisis, and they are forced to rely on each other to save their careers.
Florence Fields takes readers on a captivating journey through the picturesque landscapes of Europe, providing the perfect backdrop for Ophelia and Adam's evolving relationship. As they navigate adrenaline-rich interviews and breathtaking scenery, the story explores the beautiful, unexpected connections that can form when two people from different worlds are forced to spend time together.
The characters are well-developed and relatable. Ophelia's vivacious and outgoing personality contrasts wonderfully with Adam's broody and composed demeanor. Their interactions are filled with humor, tension, and genuine moments that will keep you engaged from start to finish.
Fields skillfully weaves a narrative that balances the excitement of adventure with the warmth of a blossoming romance. The journey becomes a metaphor for their personal growth and understanding of each other, making it a truly heartwarming experience.
Ticket To You is a tale of opposites attracting, finding common ground, and discovering that sometimes the most extraordinary adventures occur when you least expect them. It's a reminder that life has a way of bringing people together, and it's our shared experiences that make the journey worth it.
This is a beautifully crafted romance novel that will transport you to the breathtaking landscapes of Europe and remind you that love can be found in the most unexpected places. It's a feel-good, heartwarming read that leaves you with a smile and a longing for more adventures.

Ophelia has a huge problem. Her editor is trying to fire her from her dream job at Atelier, a famous fashion magazine. The only thing she can negotiate is one last trip to show the magazine she is irreplaceable. Ophelia has to go with Adam, a journalist from Outdoorsy. A sports journalist. Someone she met a few weeks ago, and believe me, he doesn’t like her at all. He actually said it without him noticing her. What a mess. Now they have two weeks of interviews all over Europe. But with their proximity, Ophelia and Adams soon realize that maybe they have more in common than they think.
This story was really cute, but I don’t think it had anything ‘wow’ in it. It is a classic tale, forced proximity between co-worker (sort of) who don’t really like each other. Well, surprise ! they actually like each other and were just too proud to say it ! It is a classic romance novel but it always works.
I think the most interesting thing was their trip around Europe (Obviously). We get to see them getting to know each other and later, falling in love. Even though their love story was still a bit too sudden for me.

Thanks heaps to @netgalley for giving me access to an ebook ARC in exchange for an honest review.
A cute, short/quick, easy and fun read, with characters that felt very realistic, unproblematic, and seemed to have a strong sense of self and personal goals. Initially got Devil Wears Prada vibes then turned into The Unhoneymooners.
Tropes:
✔️enemies to lovers
✔️forced proximity
✔️one bed
(No spice, so if that's what you're after this ain't it.)
I love it when books take me to different countries to enjoy the food, landscapes and scenery - and this one did! The book was a bit short and could have been expanded upon more, but I still enjoyed the read. It was low stakes and I didn't experience one real climactic tension or conflict, which could be a good or bad thing depending on the reader's mood.
I'm not sure I understood the big deal of the ending? [SPOILERS] "Tell him"? That you love him or about wanting to work with him? Those are different things? AND I thought it was already clear when they separated that they really cared about each other??? Also I really loved the scene with the MC's bday - that was super sweet and cute. [END SPOILERS]

I'm in love with your way of writing. Ophelia and Adam are one of the best bookish couples I've readen about. Their personalities make them perfect for each other, although they don't realize about it until extreme conditions force them together. What a better way to get to know each other than under pressure? If you can deal with that, you can deal with everything else. Even if the next book is not about them, I will read it.
Florence Fields... keep writing like this, please!
thank you to netgalley for the advanced reading copy. I really enjoyed this and will be getting copies for my shop.
Thank you NetGalley and Florence Fields for access to this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I have mixed feelings about this book.
It was a fun, quick, lighthearted read for me, and I loved the travel theme throughout.
Unfortunately, I struggled with the clichés, and stereotypes - at one point at the Journalism-in-Excellence party our FMC describes the other attendees as men at the tech magazine and people covered in flour from the cooking magazine… as if women wouldn’t write about tech and food writers don’t know how to dress for a awards event.
This is such a lighthearted and adorable rom-com story. It is definitely readable in one sitting and will leave you smiling, laughing and crying. This is a great book when you need a break from heavier books such as fantasy types. I absolutely loved this.
The blurb of this book had me hooked from the moment I saw it on Netgalley and its safe to say that it did NOT disappoint! A tall, dark and handsome MMC and an FMC with a brain she actually uses and doesn't hide away?! Yes please! It had everything you could wish for from the main characters, to the tropes which included "enemies" to lovers, one bed and forced proximity! Hello?! Not to mention the he falls first and harder! I loved this book and I will definitely be picking up more of Florence Fields works
