This book was AWESOME!!!!!!
It was an adorable enemies to lovers rom-com. I guarantee that it will leave you smiling ear to ear. Ophelia and Adam couldn't be more different. Adam writes for an outdoor magazine while Ophelia is in the fashion industry. The author showcases the beauty and the magic of opposite attacking. I really loved that. If I think about it more, there wasn't a part in the book that I didn't enjoy. I practically enjoyed their encounters they were just so funny and it left me waiting for their next interaction and what disastrous thing will happen. *I mean disastrous in a funny way.
I honestly recommend it to everyone who wants to read a good rom-com!!!! If you like Emily Henry books then you should read this!

I loved this book. But I’m also a sucker for sappy enemies to lovers books. I think it was actually an interesting set-up (although highly convenient) why these two end up being paired together after such a rocky introduction. Overall it was one of those stories where I was really rooting for the main characters to stay together. At the ending, which was so cute with the postcards, I was holding my breath to make sure they got to each other in time. I did enjoy where they ended up at the end as well. Overall a good book.

3.75/5 stars!!

this book is the embodiment of a cliché-filled 2000s romcom. it’s funny, it’s swoon-worthy, and it’s fast-paced!! it’s the perfect book for a quick romantic getaway. it’s the type of book that will get you out of a reading slump. even better yet, it’s the type of book you can read in one sitting!!

ticket to you was a fun and joyful read. the plot was simple yet intriguing and it kept me turning every page with excitement. the writing was straightforward but descriptive, although i did notice a few typos and grammatical errors but that’s okay. the characters were all interesting in their own unique ways and i really adore adam’s family and how welcoming they were of ophelia.

to be quite frank, i have a lot of mixed feelings about this book. i feel like the book wasn’t “enemies to lovers” enough because i didn’t really get the “enemies” feel from them. it was just “annoyance to love” for me. the feeling of hate wasn’t really strong and it only stayed for like 1/4 of the book.

this book is perfect to those who love a fast-paced/fast-burn romance. unfortunately, i am not one of those people. i feel like there could’ve been more to the story, especially before their europe trip. there were certain time jumps that irked me a little. if the book was slightly longer, i think the author could’ve added more depth and complexity to the story.

now let’s go back to the positive stuff. i really enjoyed the witty banter and sarcastic comments that were exchanged throughout the whole book. adam and ophelia compliment each other very well. their story was so fluffy and cute and the chemistry was great!! adam definitely worships the ground she walks on and i love that :D

this book is perfectly suitable for people looking for a lighthearted read, especially those who love romcoms!!

i’d like to thank netgalley and florence fields for gifting me an arc in exchange for my honest review <3

5/5 stars. This is another good book that is a victim of a bad cover. It was actually really good and very How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. Both Ophelia and Adam had interesting back stories and the plot line was perfect. My biggest compliment towards the book is that I think it was a perfect length, not too short or too long. Can’t wait to any other books by this author especially in this “series”. I hope she does one for El next. My favorite moment was the birthday Instagram post by Adam for Ophelia. Would recommend to anyone who asked :)

This was a first time read for me by this author and it definitely won't be my last. It's an enjoyable and fun, grumpy/sunshine, enemies-to-more rom-com that had me smiling and laughing all the way through. An adorably light-hearted story with wonderful, endearing, and relatable characters and a slow-burn romance with just enough spice. I was pulled in to the story from the start and remained engaged till the end.
Adam and Ophelia both work for the same publishing company and when they meet at a company party, they don't necessarily get off on the right foot. A few months later, Ophelia finds out that the company is laying off people and that her job might be in jeopardy. She has one chance to save her job, but that one chance involves working with Adam, who she found to be standoffish and judgmental. Despite her feelings, she agrees to work with him to save her job. But the more time they spend together, Ophelia learns that first impressions are not always accurate and there is more to Adam than she initially realized, and though they are opposites in character, that they actually have a lot in common. Ophelia's upbeat and cheery attitude was a charming contrast to Adam's brooding and contemplative demeanor. And the chemistry between them was undeniable! I enjoyed the witty banter between them, which always put a smile on my face. A heartfelt story filled with humor, fun, and romance! So glad to have had the opportunity to read this! Looking forward to reading more of this author's work.

This was a fantastic slow burn, strong and independent female lead book that I simply adored.

The over may look like a silly little rom com, but don't let that fool you!

This was such a fun lighthearted romance book that I really enjoyed overall. It had a playlist in front to listen to on Spotify (which I did) and I would say is pretty appropriate for the plot of the book. The female main character, Ophelia reminded me a lot of Netflix’s Emily in Paris which I enjoyed. I also loved Adams more reserved personality and how despite being opposite in many ways, shared a love for travel and were willing to learn more about the other one’s passion. The end, as with many romance books, started getting alittle cheesy and predictable but I enjoyed the sarcastic banter between the characters and the dual POV throughout the book.

“We need to figure out what you have for the trip that can work on our shoots. Hiking boots, a warm hat, base layers, that sort of thing. Then first thing tomorrow morning we can go shopping to fill in the gaps.”
“I have a feeling it will be less about filling gaps and more about filling a massive, gaping hole. Like, meteor-sized.”

“Ticket to You”, from debut author Florence Fields, follows Ophelia Brooks and Adam Abrams, two journalists that objectively couldn’t be more different—Ophelia is all about fashion journalism while Adam writes for an outdoorsy magazine (literally, the name of the publication is Outdoorsy). A mutual friend wanted to set them up at their company Christmas party but they end up having a not-so-cute meet-cute and became instant enemies. So, what happens when budget cuts lands them flying off to an abroad trip together three months later? They have to help each other on their respective endeavors, so will they end up appreciating their separate arts a little more or will their rivalry and annoyance win this one out? Grab this read and find out.

Never had I ever related so much to the fashion industry as I did reading into Ophelia’s thoughts and inner workings—she sees fashion as art and I can now say I agree (although I’ll keep sticking to my jeans and Taylor Swift merch, thank you). Nonetheless, I’m not going to lie, her name really did throw me off. Nothing against any Ophelias out there, but this character’s name just didn’t fit her or her story in my opinion.

Would I change anything else about this book tho? Absolutely not. I legit read it in one sitting. Grab “Ticket to You” if you’re looking for a heartwarming romance with two grown and mature adults and no real third-act break up. It’s a bit of a slow burn but oh, is it worth the wait.

This story is so well written and put together, the romance that is portrayed within this book comes across in such a strong and passionate way, Florence Fields has truly written a cute cosy summer book

I am absolutely buzzin over this book! Florence Fields has knocked her debut novel out of the hall park with this cute fast paced little rom com! It’s perfect for fans of fluffy romances. If you’re looking to get out of a reading slump… this book is IT! I devoured it in almost one sitting and stayed up wayyyy past my bedtime! It’s great for forced proximity, one bed, a tad bit engines to lovers, and the will they won’t they tropes! It was predictable but it the best way! Funny too! I’d love to see this as a made for tv movie 100% The characters were great, their storyline flowed and I dare someone to say they weren’t shipping Ophelia and Adam by the end of it! I can’t wait for the next book by Florence Fields!

Thank you to NetGalley, and Florence Fields for the gift of this ARC! I am voluntarily posting my honest review and feedback!

As a journalist I just knew I had to read this book! This book was beautifully written, the plot so entertaining and the love story so romantic! Both characters were sweet and funny. I’m a sucker for a good enemies to lovers trope with back and forth banter and this one delivered! It’s a closed door romance for my spice lovers out there.

Ticket To You was an absolutely amazing book. I adored the whole story line and thought it was written very well, with the way it all came together. I was completely consumed by these characters and could not put the book down! It was a fluffy, forced proximity book, although I won't be giving any spoilers! I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves romance books generally, and though it was a very easy read, it still had a very captivating story line.

2.5 ⭐️

‘Ticket to You’ can be described as a mild spice, fade-to-black rom-com. This book offers dual POVs and it’s definitely an enemies to lovers trope. Below, I’m going to note things I personally liked about the book and things I did not:

Liked:
- The author was descriptive on how the characters looked and about the places visited. I love when authors do this because it helps me bring the book to life.
- All the characters were pretty likable and sweet. I especially loved Adam’s sister, Eloise, and the relationship the two portrayed.
- I found some bits funny.
- Quick read. Finished the whole book on my flight.

Did not like:
- Too rushed. I felt like the story was WAY too rushed and the characters fell too hard for each other - psychopath quickly.
- Dual POV. My issue with this, mostly in romance novels, is that you can tell a woman author wrote the MMC’s POV. Most of the time when I come across these, I think to myself, “No guy has thought/said this ever”. Honestly, it ruins the story for me.
- There were not enough challenges between the two. Which is a bit of an issue because it typically isn’t so easy for two characters that like each other to be together. I need more controversy and challenges, so it could be more engaging.

Overall, quick read. Sweet story. I think the author has potential to make great novels, this one just didn’t quite do it for me and that’s okay. As always, remember just because it wasn’t everything in a bag of chips for me, doesn’t mean YOU won’t enjoy it!

Thank you so much NetGalley and the author for this ARC!

✨5 STARS✨

hands down one of my favorite romance books of the year. it was just so cute with two incredibly strong, loveable characters.

without any spoilers: ophelia + adam are two journalists for opposite sectors of the same publishing company. adam is a travel guy, ophelia is a fashion gal. their worlds don’t mix and they don’t really like each other because of an incident at a company party. then they are forced to go on a trip together to try and save their jobs, even though adam is leaving the company anyway.

- forced proximity
- enemies to lovers
- dual pov
- fade to black
- he falls first
- one bed

i think this is one of the cutest books i’ve ever read. i love ophelia and adam so much. adam is such a cute book boyfriend & im incredibly jealous of ophelia for getting to travel and be seen by a man like him.

THE POSTCARDS!!!!!!!!! traveling and photographing someone you love in different countries, what a dream. & the ENDING! so cute. loved it <3

I just finished reading Ticket to You and it was such a cute rom-com. Ophelia and Adam, two journalists working at very different magazines are like oil and water. She's a glamorous fashion reporter and he's an adventure photojournalist. They both have stereotypical views of each other. A clumsy first meeting starts of their enemy status. However, they end up going on a work trip together in Europe! Cue hilarious mishaps and witty banter!

This book gave me all the vibes of those classic rom-coms we used to binge-watch in the '90s. Nostalgia much!

I totally fell for Ophelia's fashionista charm. Her character has a humble backstory that makes her even more endearing. You'll be rooting for them all the way!

If you're all about enemies-to-lovers, adorable forced proximity, and a heartwarming rom-com journey, this book is your ticket to pure delight! Don't wait, go grab a copy now and get ready for a rollercoaster ride of laughter and love! Happy reading you guys.

omg I think I've found another new favourite romance novel????

★ dual pov
★ slow burn
★ enemies to lovers / hate (dislike) to love
★ workplace romance
★ opposites attract
★ European work trips
★ forced proximity
★ one bed
★ fade to black / closed door / clean romance
★ no third-act breakup!!

So we've got Ophelia Brooks: a moreso extroverted fashion journalist working at Atelier Today. She has a clear and strong passion for the fashion artform. (there's a particular scene where she gets to geek out about it which was such a joy to read!!)

Now Adam Abrams: an extreme sports photojournalist at Outdoorsy Magazine who's more on the introverted side of things. He's also potentially jumping into a big decision regarding his career. (I'd also like to note he had a beanie babies collection as a child. This is only mentioned in one line but it's a line I'm holding on to forever)

They both have quite notable journalism careers but Ophelia and Adam can hardly stand each other because of a disaster meet cute and already less-than-great presumptions about each other since Atelier Today & Outdoorsy Magazine have quite a natural feud being both from Hoffman Publishing.
The problem with this publisher right now? Mass layoffs. OOF. Yeah,, that's quite a problem. Good thing Ophelia has herself a plan, though to her dismay, her work trip plan has her partnering up with the infuriating Adam. Now they'll be stuck together for a week in Europe, where they can only hope everything goes as planned.

This was SUCH a fun read!!! The banter was spectacular and their chemistry was soo strong, it had me obsessed. The premise itself was really enjoyable, as were the characters themselves! They truly are lovable and their emotions are written phenomenally. You're really able to feel the depths that the characters have which I appreciate. Also, the dynamics between all of the characters (definitely thinking about Adam's family here!!),, CHEF'S KISS. So great to read.

The whole novel had me completely hooked but that last chapter had me reading as fast as possible from all the excitement and anticipation!! And that epilogue?? I'm not usually super crazy about them (don't get me wrong, I do like them being included, just that other parts of the book will always be more fun for me personally!) but the ending for this was literally the best thing ever omgg. If you know, you know haha. 💌 I probably would've audibly yelled if it hadn't been 3am lol. Such a perfect ending ♡♡♡

(ngl I think I desperately need an Adam Abrams for myself as well)

I can't recommend this enough. If this at all sounds like something you'd possibly be interested in, definitely pick it up and have a go with it. I'm looking forward to what Florence Fields writes next!!
