It's never too late for a happy ending. Just when you're looking for an unpredictable story, a hopeful and interesting plot, and likable characters, here comes another book by Steel.

I always look forward to the twists and turns in the novels she writes. You'll want to tuck this one in your bag or tote for a commute, a day at the beach, or a few hours in the waiting room.

Not really a romance novel reader but this one was a great read! The characters were likeable enough, the novel was set in the city which always give the readers that "City Life" nostalgia.

Still not a fan of romance but definitely glad I gave this one a try..

I struggled writing this review because the book is good. It’s another Danielle Steel book. If you like her other books, you like this one. The ho hum part is that it’s just like all her other books…

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

Holy redundant, it really felt like she was stretching to reach a page count no matter how far into the story I got. It seemed every other paragraph was repeated. This easily could have been 150 pages. The story was lack luster and boring.

Kezia has recently moved to New York City to get a fresh start after her husband's passing and the subsequent sale of their home and his business. She moves into a beautiful penthouse with impressive views of the city, in close proximity to her two daughters. One night New York City is under attack from some violent explosions, and while she watches from her penthouse, she meets her next-door neighbor Sam who is a well known movie star. The two connect over the devastation and pull they both feel to help wherever they can.

Kezia enjoys this new friendship and eventually introduces her two daughters to Sam who are both in relationships that couldn't be more different from each other.

Overall, this is a quick read about embracing change and new beginnings.

I hadn't read a Danielle Steel book in a while and I'm glad I chose to read this. It was well written, entertaining story with some parts that were unexpected . I'd love to read what happens next to these characters

Never Too Late was a fantastic read by Danielle Steel! I love all of her books and this one was no exception. I especially enjoyed the mystery/thriller aspect of this particular read. Well done!

Never Too Late was another book by Danielle Steel that just brings the reader in and doesn’t let them escape until they are finished. Never Too Late focuses on the real time tragedies and incorporated the Covid 19 illness that was deadly for a successful husband and leaving his wife, Kezia, to run his business. After selling the business and moving to New York City to be closer to her daughters tragedy strikes on the city. The tragedy was so similar to 9/11 and as you reading it makes you feel like you are in the midst of the buildings collapsing and you want to join in and help in every way that you could. What a remembrance of this attack and how many lives were lost and how it changed the security of our country now. But as revealed in Never Too Late it was a group of American people that took their own people’s lives instead of terrorists. The love stories that came out of this were real and I love the message that came out of two of the relationships. There are many relationships that stay together only because it is easier than being alone but she states that you need to find yourself first before you can continue in an unhealthy relationship. I agree and it is Never Too Late to start over again regardless of your age.

Thanks for this opportunity to preview this book It will be another success!

A fun and easy Danielle Steel read. I do love the cycle her books take - the high, low and always ending on a high. Fun and easy to read.

Kezia has decided to move to New York five years after losing her husband and selling his company. She feels like she needed a new lease on life. She chose New York because her daughters Felicity and Kate now live there.
Felicity and Kate whose personalities are complete opposite: Felicity is a bubbly, charismatic, beautiful supermodel and Kate is pessimist not over bubbly.
Not long after Kezia moves to New York the city is hit with a tragedy and during this time unexpectedly starts a friendship with her movie star neighbor Sam. So begins this novel of love lost and found not only through Sam and Kezia but for their children as well.
I always enjoy reading about love for women over forty and now that am fifty that age bracket as well.
This book was sad sweet and touching all wrapped up in a bow. Would have loved an epilogue.

Danielle Steel is my all time favorite author!! I look forward to reading each new novel And she NEVER disappoints!!

Kezia Cooper Hobson, recently widowed, arrives in New York from San Francisco. Determined to make a fresh start, she has just completed the sale of her Pacific Heights home, not to mention her husband’s venture capital firm, and in doing so, is also freed from her responsibility as a board member of the company. Bringing with her only a few personal treasures, she is excited to move into the blank slate of a beautiful midtown penthouse, in the city that she has always loved. It is also where her two adult daughters now live.

As Kezia settles into her new apartment, she meets her movie-star next-door neighbor, Sam Stewart, whose terrace borders hers. Just a couple of weeks after she arrives, however, a devastating crisis strikes New York City. Kezia and Sam find themselves connecting over their strong impulse to help those in need. As they share a life-changing experience of volunteering, a bond is sparked and a friendship is formed.

Kezia’s daughters, Kate and Felicity, are taken aback by their mother’s new friendship, both more focused on their own love lives than hers. But Kezia is learning that the changes she’s making are just what she needs to open new horizons.

In this powerful and moving new novel, Danielle Steel illuminates the importance of human connection and embracing brave change, proving it’s never too late for a brand-new start.

Living in NYC, the novel broke my heart and then made me proud of the city's resiliency. .Without reading the summary, I was shocked by the attack. It brought back the horrors of September 11th and I needed to put the book aside for an hour before I was able to continue reading.

Finally I was able to move forward and respected how the author handled the tragedy. Steel portrays a fictional NYC where the city is targeted by bombing the Empire State Building and Hudson Yard.

I walk by the Empire State Building every day and tonight it sparkled when striking the hour. The story hit home and made me question what if it happened again? The world has changed and the USA lost its innocence after 9/11. Until then war hadn't reached US shores since the world wars. It was always something that happened on the other side of the world.

We've entered an era where adults weren't alive during 9/11 and only heard about the tragedy. Steel makes readers question what if it's not history but something we have to face today. Thank you to #NetGalley and the publisher for the early edition of #NeverTooLate in exchange for an honest review, This story was the hardest hitting Danielle Steel I've read to date. It's an incredibly moving novel where the subject was masterly handled by the author.

A summer of change starting with a tragedy, four romances, 4 exes and close families, all entwine to make this a book you won’t be able to put down.

Kezia Cooper Hobson moves from San Francisco to New York for a fresh start. Her husband passed away 5 years before and she wants to be closer to her daughters. When she arrives in NYC, her children are both on the way out of the country. One is at fashion show and the other is traveling to Africa to meet her birth father. A devastating attack on NYC changes Kezia’s course. That night she meets her next-door neighbor Sam who is also a recent widower. While NYC is under attack, Kenzia and Sam share life-changing experience that leads to a friendship that neither expects.
Like all Danielle Steel novels, the story begins with a devastating life changing event. The story that unfolds afterwards brings reminders of 9/11 but also brings hope and how change is often a good thing. The separate story lines of Kezia’s daughters work well and provides hope for mothers who are not excited about their children’s life choices. Amazing read and a reminder why Danielle Steel has been and remains a #1 New York Times Bestseller.
Thank you NetGalley, Danielle Steel and Random House Ballentine for ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I liked this book.
I liked the characters and the family dynamics between the mom and the daughters and Sam and his son. I do think at times Kezia was comparing Kate and Felicity a little too much.

The reason for the three stars was the traumatic event that the author wrote into the book. I didn’t like it and it doesn’t sit right with me. Yes, they caught the people who did it very quickly. But I still didn’t like the event. She could have written a different type of tragic event.

I also feel like the book was a little short and went between all the characters so much. I felt like I didn’t get to know them enough. Between the different perspectives and the case/praicetuin of the bad guys. The book felt a little flustered.

I usually read my NetGalley books in the order that they will be published, but I couldn't resist reading this one early. I was not disappointed. It's now going to be one of my favorite Danielle Steel books. Kezia was a widow with 2 adult daughters. Her husband had left her very well off and provided well for their girls too. The youngest was a famous model in her early 20's and was with an older man that was in love with her. It was no surprise when they got engaged even though she was quite young. Her older sister was quite different. Her mother had been a single mother as the father wanted nothing to do with her, and it effected her alot. She had been with Jack for 4 years, and supported him for over 3.
Kezia moved from San Francisco to NY and within a week of living there, some Americans decided to bomb the city trying to take over the government. Her neighbor came over to keep her company and try and figure out what was happening. When they found out, they both went down and volunteered to help, her as a NP and he as whatever was needed. They bonded quickly over this horrible circumstance and became friends and eventually more. The story moved along quickly and I didn't want to stop reading until I finished. Wonderful story with a happy ending for all

I got this book from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review

This was a great book! Not your usual Danielle Steele - this was a gripping page-turner that I read in one day! The characters are very real, and I enjoyed getting to know them immensely. The main character, New York City, is a wonderful center to the lives of our characters, all women of different ages (20, 40 and 60), and how they navigate loss, life and love. You will really enjoy this novel.
