This book is a great study of trash talk, a polarizing topic for many people.
The book does a masterful job of building upon its thesis. I enjoyed the fact that Kohan was able to weave in examples from many different areas. I expected this to be a book that focused exclusively on sports. There are examples provided from the military, entertainment, and politics. Kohan's analysis is summed up in a great chapter that analyzes how Donald Trump has utilized many of the negative aspects of trash talk to catapult to power. The discussion of Trump was even-keeled; if anyone tells you different, then they're a part of the die hard base that won't tolerate any criticism of the man.
Rafi Kohan has written a wonderful book that will resonate with any audience. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I enjoyed the stories in Trash Talk, especially the ones that setw place in the Pro Wrestling world. An interesting book about the reasons people use trash talk and how it gave them an identity and helped their career.
It's really interesting, especially in a physiologically standpoint
