I Will Find You" is a riveting and emotionally charged thriller that showcases Cole Baxter's talent for crafting compelling and suspenseful narratives. It's a must-read for fans of the genre and anyone who enjoys a gripping story with strong characters and emotional depth.
I do enjoy Cole Baxter's books, he is one of my favourite authors! This book was no exception & was a great read!
First, I want to warn you - some of the abuse scenes in this can get a bit graphic, and if you've lived through domestic abuse, you might find those scenes difficult to read. Now that that's out of the way - I was roped in from the start. Baxter got my heart racing and breaking right from the first page. I've known women like Maria, but not all of them got out in one piece and started a better life. She's a believable character, who finds herself in a tough position. Out of the frying pan and into the fire, as it were, with a brief reprieve in between. The story moves along at a smooth pace, with characters you'll love, and love to hate. If you enjoy psychological thrillers, you're going to enjoy this one!
This was a tough read, the abuse was graphic and the characters not likable even Maria. Maria raped by an older man Glen was forced by her father to marry after the pregnancy. Glen expected a clean house, food cooked and on the table. The vicious cycle of abuse led by men. I wished this book came with a disclaimer.
Wow. Kudos to the author for putting up this interesting book.
I quite enjoyed this. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
I really wanted to enjoy this book but I struggled there was a lot of repetition and the word "baby" was driving me insane.
"Baby". This got on my nerves so much. And why did the female MC make so many dumb decisions? Come on. I did not like this at all, but I know there will be some that do. I just could not hang with the story at all.
How far are you willing to go? And what is the ultimate price? Those are the two questions you may ask yourself while reading.
Cole Baxter knows just the right amount of love, fear, strength and sorrow to give to his characters to make you love or hate them.
I Will Find You is a story I lived in my life so I know how often this type of thing happens.
Read this book knowing there is someone out there right now going thru this. It’s real and we need to talk about it more.
Could not put this one down - awesome book! Loved all the twists and turns and the suspense as Maria and Cooper's story played out.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I’m sorry bug this one just wasn’t for me. I felt it was boring and didn’t hold my attention.
Thank you netgalley
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC. This is my 2nd book by Cole and I just don't think he's for me. The story starts off good but then just goes down hill. I had high hopes but it didn't live up to them.
Oh my GOD. This book hooked me from the start. I had to finish it in one sitting.
The plot was addicting. I could definitely do without the romance, for me personally but it didn’t take much away from the book overall. The characters WERE over the top but I loved them regardless.
This was my first Cole Baxter book but it definitely won’t be my last.
I didn’t go into this book expecting a huge twist or I might’ve been disappointed but I enjoyed the ride that I Will Find You took me on!
Thank you to NetGalley for my ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I will find you by Cole Baxter was very underwhelming & monotonous for me. The story of Maria started off well but there was really no character growth. All secrets were guessable and that took out most of the oomph for me. There was too much detail into mundane things. I realize some people appreciate descriptive scenes but was a tad too descriptive and detailed for me especially because they had no bearing on the story or plot. There are also encounters/lines with other characters that are bizarrely detailed. Like a detailed conversation with a vab driver & a shop owner. I kept going even with a waning interest because I hoped to see a plot twist that never came. This is no "psychological thriller with a killer twist" as stated on its cover. There was no twist & a simply a narration of a detailed sad story
In the end all I got was dissapointed and dissatisfaction because I was hoping for more!
Thank you NetGalley, Inkubator books & Cole Baxter for this arc.
This is the second book for me by Cole Baxter and the third was "The Hollow Husband" and both happened to be almost identical and similarly bad. Cooking these books one after another without much effort just doesn't work for the audience. It is even shameful to call this an actual book.
The characters are superficial, the story is superficial. There is really nothing likeable about this book unless you are into shallow and superficial stories with undeveloped characters. And another main character who clearly lacks intelligence and there is nothing more painful than reading such person's inner thoughts. Please consider writing from the third point of view.
And please please can we stop with the usage of "sweetheart" and "baby" by a husband and having husbands who act like simps but have hidden anger issues?
After 30% I just could no longer torture myself.

Maria is the main character and has a history of an abusive dead husband and then an abusive stocker. When she finally finds happiness and a positive relationship with a new husband, her past comes back to haunt her and her new lifestyle.
I had high hopes for this book. It started off strong and then went downhill. I found it very repetitive and a bit annoying in the middle. The ending was just a tiny spark and not something that made you go, "Wow! I didn't see that coming".There was lots of unnecessary dialog between characters. I honestly kept reading this thinking there was going to be some huge twist of an ending, but it just didn't happen.
Thank you to Netgalley, Cole Baxter and Inkubator Books for the Free Ebook copy. This review is 100% my own and honest review.
This book was nice- but not too much excitement it didn't hold my attention for long, the beginning was good then it just seemed to plod on until the end.

A fast paced thriller, plenty of twists and turns, a little lacking in places but a good regular read.
My first time with this author didn't disappoint! Very few books can make me feel on edge these days because they're all the same. This one definitely had the magic! Strong start, but fell a little flat at the end for me. It's worth a read during spooky season, though.

When Maria's past comes back to haunt her she starts being blackmailed. Maria doesn't want her new husband to know everything about her horrible past of abuse. Jackson would go to any lengths to get to Maria and Cooper. Will Maria be able to save herself and Cooper? Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for the advance ecopy.
