First read with this author and definitely won't be the last. This one really creeped me out. I had to stop reading it one night because I was home alone. Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book

This one started out strong but fell flat toward the end. I felt there was a lot of repetition that made the story stagnant. The ending was also very predictable. I was hoping for a shocking twist and it just wasn't there.

Thank you, Netgalley and bookouture for the advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review

This book was okay, it was well written but it wasn’t anything I would have chosen to read otherwise.

An interesting read but very predictable, The whole story sometimes doesn't flow and the characters are very flat. Despite of that, quite entertaining.

Be prepared to check under your bed for weeks to come after concluding, I Will Find You.

I am ashamed to admit this is my first book by Baxter, but rest assured, as soon as I concluded I Will Find You, I ran over to Amazon to download his back list. Up next, Prime Suspect.

This book is a whole lot more than just a thriller, it also had a bit of romance tweaked with a side cart of horror. If you think romance, horror, and suspense, won't work, check in with me after you finish this one!

As soon as I read the first chapter, I knew I was in for the long haul. This is a book that is impossible to put down once you start yet a quick and easy read, so you won't want to!

As you can see, I have become a fan of Baxter, and I believe you will be too! Check out this teaser:

Maria loves her husband. She really, really doesn’t want to kill him.

Maria just wants to put her troubled past behind her. Newly married to wealthy architect Cooper, she’s finally enjoying the perfect life.

Things weren’t always easy for Maria. Years ago, desperate to escape an abusive marriage, she did some very bad things. And then had to flee the man who helped her, Jackson Drake, when she realized he was even more dangerous than her husband.

Fast forward to the present, and Jackson has finally tracked her down.

Now he is using Maria’s darkest secrets to blackmail her into doing exactly what he says. And what he says is that her new husband Cooper must die.

Maria knows Jackson is utterly ruthless and that he has the power to destroy her world and everything she holds dear. If she is to save herself and her husband, she will have to find the strength to do things she never imagined in her wildest dreams.
But how far will she go to save her perfect life? And who will pay the ultimate price?

I Will Find You - a stunning psychological thriller that will grip you to the very last page.

I really loved this book! I liked hearing Maria’s story and I didn’t see the twists coming. It was a page turner for sure! I felt the book started off very strong and then slowed in the middle. However, the end definitely left me satisfied in the end! Great read!

I have loved all of this authors books and for me this is his best in my opinion.
There are plenty of twists and turns and the author really keeps the excitement going.
The characters of Maria and Cooper are written beautifully and this makes it easy to connect with.
Poor Marias past is rearing its ugly head again threatening her perfect life with Cooper.
The story is really well written and the pace is perfect keeping the story racing along and atmosphere and excitement in the story is there..
I didnt want to know what happened I NEEDED to know.
This author is one to watch and you should definitely get this book to introduce you to him.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I found this book to be enjoyable, not my favorite, but still a decent read. I had a few problems with the pacing and flow, but I was able to get through to the main point of the story. It was a little predictable, and there were some things that didnt or were not touched on again, maybe intentionally...overall it was a good book, not mindblowing but an easy, entertaining read, just a little flat.

Wow!!!! This book was fast paced and tense from start to finish. Maria has had some unfortunate luck with men in the past, but she’s made a new life for herself and she’s finally happy. A fresh start or so she thinks. It’s like watching a high speed chase and you know it’s going to be an absolute trainwreck, but you can’t look away. I picked this book up in every minute of my spare time. I kept saying, just one more chapter. A great thriller and I highly recommend!!!!

I really wanted to love this novel.

A woman trying to escape her dangerous past that eventually catches up with her.

For me there were so many flaws to the plot that I just could not engage with it.

The title is I Will Find You - but really it was not to hard as Maria's mother gave her address out freely. Despite a traumatic past.

And as for the husband calling her Baby the whole time. I never laughed out loud.

Was a very close DNF but I got through it but would not recommend it in any way.

Sorry.

Thank you to Net Galley for this ARC.

I really don't like giving negative reviews. But I am always honest. This book is poorly written. Clunky writing with far to much detail, and super repetitive. The characters were not likeable, the story took forever to develop, to kind of a dissatisfying end. You could predict it from a mile away.

But seriously, writing a book is not easy for sure, so I definitely applaud the effort this writer put into the boom.

The writing was good, and well described but I could not get into the story unfortunately. Sorry. I could not finish the book.

A gripping thriller that had me hooked from the very beginning. As I followed Jane's relentless quest to uncover the truth behind her sister's disappearance, I couldn't help but get completely immersed in the story. Baxter has a captivating writing style that I really enjoyed and the book was filled with suspenseful twists and turns

What I really enjoyed was the atmospheric and tense ambiance that Baxter created, making it an immersive and unforgettable reading experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this heart-pounding read to all mystery enthusiasts. If you're looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat and have you guessing until the final page, "I Will Find You" is the perfect choice.
Thank you for allowing me to read this early and review!

Thanks to #NetGalley and #InkubatorBooks for the ARC of #IWillFindYou by #ColeBaxter. This was a good book and frightening how much this is true in regards to domestic violence. I can relate to some of the things in this book.

I really enjoyed this book! The storyline was fast-paced, intriguing and suspenseful. I knocked a star off as I did find some of the writing style and elements a little repetitive, such as the constant eating out or ordering of food, which distracted from the storyline. I also found the main character of Maria a little frustrating being "kept" by her rich husband. These two elements did distract a little from the storyline for me, although I did still find the overall plot enjoyable.

"Maria loves her husband. She really, really, doesn't want to kill him"

The first few chapters of this book drew me in and I was hooked. However, I quickly became annoyed with Maria and her husband, Cooper. I honestly felt like the praise was overwhelming - I mean I get loving your spouse, but this was far to much to read over and over aaaand over again. The repetition had me dying inside. I almost DNF'd this book around 40%, I just felt it slowed significantly and I was getting very bored reading. The cover suggested a "killer twist" so I kept reading thinking something absolutely shocking was going to happen... and I was severely disappointed. Around 85% the book picks back up and I finished but again, there was no real twist. Gave me cheesy lifetime movie vibes.

TW: sexual assault, domestic violence, mental and physical abuse, miscarriage, ending another life.

Maria and Cooper have the perfect marriage, with wealth and all its trappings. But Cooper doesn't know about Maria's past and the men she is hiding from. When Jackson and Sully come looking for her, Maria has to do all she can to save Cooper from their wicked plans for him.

The plot was predictable, the story straightforward. Maria hides from men in her past who would do her and her husband grevious harm. The violence that Maria endured in her past life is described over and over again in flashbacks, so that it seems the novel runs on its fuel. This spoils the novel in the sense that it becomes more a story of abuse and violence against women than a good story.
