Faithful Friends is a beautiful and enchanting, unique book for children and families to enjoy together. The book introduces children to characters from the Bible in the form of cloth dolls the author has made herself. Each doll is accompanied by a page giving information about them, which is explained in an easy, child-friendly way. The dolls are just beautiful, and add a whimsical feel to the book. This is a beautiful way to teach children about Biblical figures and stories and will be very memorable exoerience for the child, too.
Faithful Friends by Marcy Kelleher and Michael Kelleher is a unique way to introduce important Biblical Characters to young kids. I thought the use of cloth-like dolls was unique and liked the wide range of Biblical Figures that was portrayed. I think young kids would like Faithful Friends. Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read this book. My review is also on Goodreads.
Such a cute way for little ones to learn about some of the main characters in Bible stories. I loved looking at the pictures of the handmade dolls. I appreciated the balance of different skin tones on the dolls and the variety of characters included!
This is such a sweet way to show the characters of the Bible. I love how each character has the sweetest looking doll. The scripture and a short synopsis about them make it a great bedtime storybook or something to look up.
A good introduction to different Bible characters. Including both Old and New Testament characters, Faithful Friends gives a quick one-page summary of each character complete with a cloth doll "illustration". This book would be good to read for a family devotional time and then provide opportunities for further exploration of the characters with older kids.

I LOVED this! Read an advanced reader copy (thank you to the publisher and NetGalley). I cannot wait to get my hands on a physical copy to read with me children (who share names with characters in this book). Highly, highly recommend this for Christian families.
We’ve been reading this story during bedtime and the children love it! From the cute little illustrations to the wording of stories from the Bible. The way the Bible is interpreted seems spot on and easy enough for children to understand. Love how each story is about different people from the Bible.
Thank you to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for this eARC in exchange for my honest review!
