I Kill Killers is a must read for anyone who loves criminal minds! I requested this book because as a true crime lover, the hanging out of justice is super interesting to me. I gave this book 3 stars because I felt as if the end was rushed a tad bit. I also wanted a deeper dive into Leah’s frame of mind. We got the feel out for Liam, but Leah was a mystery to me.
3 stars
This was a book that I read in a few hours and I enjoyed it while reading. I liked to think about who is the killer of the serial killers. The writer did an excellent job and gave us a thrilling crime story with psychological twists, that is not too complicated, with good dialogue, and with a surprising end. Perfect for crime readers.
This book literally had me shout out No way when the plot twist was revealed and then the ending …Superb book !!
If you’re a fan of Dexter and the ideology that killer is a serial killer themselves because they kill the serial killers then this book will not disappoint you one bit !
I am truly hoping that this is continued into a series , truly brilliant !
I haven’t written a spoiler as you need to go read this book !
Thank you @netgalley for the opportunity to read this book , it’s available to purchase now :)
I received this ebook from Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion and review. As much as it pains me to admit it, serial killers have always been sort of fascinating to me. I always wonder how their minds work, why they do what they do, and what their methods are. These things are all covered while we follow around a serial killer who kills other serial killers. The plot twist at the end was a little weak in my opinion, but it still ended up being a really good read.
Can I just say Oh My Gosh! This book had me hooked from the title page. The prologue was a real gripper and the whole story had me not wanting to put my phone down. Then the epilogue and that ending, wow! I have found a new favorite author! Thank you so much NetGalley and Ashman books for an ARC ebook. I will add this book to my personal collection and I look forward to anymore books that could come from this author.
Leah is a famous pianist and a killer who kills serial killers. Agent Ritcher is apart of the FBI and he is investigating a brutal murder. He is obsessed with this woman in a red dress who is a potential witness to the murder he is investigating. Could Leah and this woman in red be connected? Could they be the same person?
How does a killer of killers blend in? How does she get her information? Which side are you on as a reader? Hers or the cops? What about closure for families of victims? Read this book and you will discover all these answers.
I KILL KILLERS By S.T Ashman
When a genius pianist turned hunter of serial killers finds herself linked to her latest victim by a startling coincidence, her life enters a chilling vortex. Caught up in a high-risk chase with a determined FBI agent, she also finds herself in a life-threatening face-off with a shadowy enemy whose lethal cunning could rival her own.

Firstly, I would like to thank NetGalley, Barnes and Noble and the books author, for the ARC in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own, they are unbiased and and not influenced by anothers.
I don't know where to even start, this is a debut and it will be, without a doubt, a hit. Everything was superb. I literally read this in one sitting, without putting it down. My stomach was really angry with me, my body was screaming for me to get some sleep but my mind was dominant and opted out of sleeping, eating or anything else but to continue on with this marvelous book.
I am patiently awaiting his next Gem!
OMG!!!! This is the first book I have read by S. T. Ashman and let me tell you it won't be the last! This book had me from beginning until the end. I absolutely loved everything about this book. The characters were well written. This book had some twists that I didn't see coming. I kept covering my mouth and saying NO WAY!! It was so shocking. I can't wait til the next book comes out! This was the best thriller I have read this year! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this book.
I'd give 10 stars if it would let me!
Thank you NetGalley and Ashman Books for allowing me to read this ARC in advance for my honest opinion.
Thank you to Netgalley, the author and publishing house. A great cat and mouse game that leaves more questions than answers. I hope this becomes a series. Highly entertaining.
I'm obsessed with serial killers taking out serial killers (Dexter is a firm favourite) and women getting justice on men who r*pe and kill women. This book is right up my street. Leah was actually quite likeable, although her character was a bit bland at times. I did really like Liam, the police officer, although I did notice several times the writing tense changed from first person to third person during his chapters, which threw me off a bit.
Overall, a decent thriller and am looking forward to another book in the series (which I've heard there is one). I liked the idea of a high-profile woman being a serial killer of serial killers.
Congratulations to the author on this amazing debut, I cannot wait for book 2 !
Thanks to NetGalley, the editor and the author for the opportunity to access this copy.
🩸BOOK / REVIEW 🩸
Y'all.
This book is IT.
So.freaking.flipping.GOOD.
I stumbled across a #tiktok review of #ikillkillers and knew immediately that I needed it. I was able to snag a copy from @netgalley (thank you SO MUCH @booksbyashman ❤️).
This one was on full blast from
start to finish. It was so well executed and it was bloody, gruesome and oh so addictive. If you have a squeamish stomach, I may toss this one aside. In my opinion, the amount of gore was perfect 😆.
And can we please praise STRONG FEMALE CHARACTERS 🙌. Leah reminded me so much of Lisbeth Salander from the #girlwiththedragontattoo series - the perfect mix of sugar and spice. I loved that she was heavily flawed and was hellbent on bringing justice against #serialkillers.
I really enjoyed Liam as a main character too - he was honest and good at heart. I am so excited to see where these characters end up next.
This book was excellent 👏 it published 10.10.23, so grab it now: https://a.co/d/fD9D0Cp
I was lucky enough to receive and ARC of this book. I enjoyed the premise of the book. I am looking forward to any further books. I liked the characters and their interactions with each other. Each chapter I read made me want to read just one more. There were not many loose ends left by the end of the book. Just hold on to your questions.
Thank you to the publishers and Netgalley for my e-ARC of I Kill Killers.
I didn’t love this one but the ending had me surprised. The pacing was a bit too slow for my liking and the spicy scenes were a bit out of place in a blood soaked serial killer thriller. I’ll try this author again though!
Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this E-arc for my honest review.
Excellent psychological thriller with a refreshing change involving a strong female main character. The book was written with the POV of an FBI agent and a killer which was enjoyable as well as informative. I quite enjoyed the different plot of this book as well as the fantastic ending making you desperately yearn for the sequel…excellent! Looking to Vol II.
I Kill Killers by S.T. Ashman. I really try not to get my hopes up with it comes to getting approved for ARC's but for some reason, I was drawn to this book and REALLY, REALLY wanted the ARC. I was pleasantly surprised when I was approved. This book did not disappoint. I don't know if this was a stand alone or if there will be a sequel but this could be an ENTIRE SERIES and I would read every book! I thought the ending would be predicable and I was wrong. The ending SHOCKED me! I loved everything about this book and could not put it down. The perfect October read. READ THIS BOOK!!! Thanks Ashman Books and NetGalley for the ARC.
From the first line I was hooked. This story follows an unsuspecting serial killer who kills other serial killers. If you loved Dexter, you will love this book! It was fast paced and kept my attention the whole way through. Several twists and turns a long the way to keep the reader engaged. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait for more!
This was a very fun twisty thriller following a serial killer who killed serial killers and the agent trying to catch her. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I read a lot of thrillers and I love it when one breaks the mold and gives me something new and different, and this book did exactly that. It was a fun ride from start to finish and the plot twists were well executed. The wording felt a little clunky at times, but overall I really enjoyed the read.
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC!
It's unbelievable that this fantastic book is a debut! You can make a comparison to Dexter, with a killer killing killers, but substituting a female killer along with all of the other unique details and story points made this even better for me. Like others, I am extremely hopeful for a book two and will be keeping a close eye out for it.
