This was a great book by Paige Edwards. I loved seeing characters from the previous books in this series and getting to see Ben fall in love. I loved how Isla and Ben didn’t trust/like each other at first. Their first meeting was so entertaining. I liked how as they got past that initial meeting and learned to trust each other, they were able to help each other and eventually fall in love. I liked the suspense in this story. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see how things would resolve. If you like the other books in this series or just love a good romantic suspense, then this is a book to check out.

I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors.  A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

I absolutely loved this book! It is my favorite of the Pressley-Combes series. Isla is on the run from her ex boyfriend when she discovers his dark secret and he tries to kill her. While hiding out in Skye she has a chance meeting with Ben when he startles her and she pepper sprays him. Isla’s ex boyfriend finds her and tries to kill her, and Ben and his father offer her a refuge at their home in the United States. This leads to a marriage of convenience, and maybe to love?

This book has it all- a crazy meet cute, forced proximity and suspense all wrapped up in one. This is story that you won't be able to put down. This is book #4 in the Pressley-Coombes series but can be read by itself.
Highly recommend you give this one a read. It is my favorite of the series!

Do you love romantic suspense books? I sure do and this series is one of my favorites. Throw in a marriage of convenience and forced proximity, and you have a winning combination. This author really knows how to pack a punch with the suspense while building a romantic tension too. From beginning to end this story was exciting and I had a hard time pulling myself away when life called.

Isla is so strong. So courageous. I don't think I could have survived the way she did. I loved her caring and artistic side. Isla also had fantastic instincts and such a drive to protect and care for not only herself but others around her. The trauma and emotional battles she faced were immense and I was rooting for her safety, health and healing with my whole heart.

I loved traveling through countries and across continents. I love the Pressley-Coombes family. I loved that both Ben and Isla were dealing with a bit of mystery and it all ended to dramatically. It was so good.

This is the fourth book in this series. I don't think you have to read them in order but I would recommend that you do. It's just more fun that way.

Content: peril, violence. Christian elements (talk of God, praying), kissing.

- I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

Skye Fall is the amazing story of Ben Pressley-Coombes and Isla Moore.
When I read the description I had some moments of reluctance because it’s hard for me to read about violence against women. The villain in this story is of the worst kind. A man who thinks that he has the right to destroy anything and anyone who stands in his way.
It takes a bit for Ben and Isla to connect, and there is heartache that you just keep hoping will resolve.
There are beautiful moments with fairy lights and a telescope.
Reconnecting with the other Pressley-Coombes siblings as part of the story is wonderful.
To top it all off is the presence of God in this story to bring light in the darkness. This is a beautiful story that changed me. I think it will change you.
Thanks to Netgalley and Covenant Communications for the opportunity to read this book.

This series has been an exciting one from the first book. I love the Pressley-Coombes family. I was excited that Ben was finally going to have his story told.

Isla Montjoy is a brave woman who has been on the run from her bad cop former boyfriend, Shay. He thought she was dead but she survived and knows a lot about the corrupt group of important men who would go down if Isla spilled what she heard. She is left with a lot of trauma from the attack.

Ben Pressley-Coombes is on vacation with his father, Richard. His dad gets hurt on the climb up the mountain. Ben & Isla's fates collide again after a bad first meeting on the beach. With Shay after Isla, and Ben feeling the need to protect her is when the action ramps up. Skye Fall is non-stop action with lip-biting action from me. You never knew when Shay would show up and try to kill Isla.

Ben and his father find out that all of their corporation's money is gone. Someone has drained all of their accounts and now their business is in trouble. It was great how seamlessly the author combined both parts of the story. Ben and Isla are a wonderful couple. I loved how fierce and gentle Ben could be. He helped Isla through much of her healing and shared his Christian values to trust in God again.

I loved this Romantic Suspense. Skye Fall has tremendous action along with some very nice romantic moments. Even though this is the fourth book in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone but don't do that to yourself. Reading from book one first will give you more insight into the Pressley-Coombes family. Each book has been incredible, so go right now and get the books from this series.

I really enjoyed reading this book. There is suspense and intrigue, throughout the story. There is also flirty banter and sweet romance. The story takes place in London, Scotland and the state of Virginia. The plot is very strong and gripped my attention throughout the story. There is corrupt police officers, embezzling funds, and Hidden identity. The characters are witty, and charming. And the main female character Isla, has had some forced trauma she is dealing with and I appreciate the authors, discreet way of describing the scenes and working with her tender emotions. Ben is the rock of the family, putting aside his own thoughts and dreams, for those he loves There is also Christian belief throughout the story, forgiveness, faith, and prayer are all topics covered. it is part of a series, but can be read as a standalone. Each book covers, a different sibling in this loving, caring and complex family. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

When Isla made a surprise birthday cake for her boyfriend, she never imagined the evening would end with her fleeing for her life. But she's discovered secrets people - specifically Shay - will kill to hide. She hides successfully for a couple of years, but when he catches up with her again, she's lucky enough to find help in a most unexpected quarter. But that help has the potential to be as dangerous to her heart as Shay is to her life... Can Isla and Ben manage to outwit Shay by keeping her safe while bringing him to justice? And what happens if she's finally safe to go home?

This was a new author to me, but I hope to read more. With a couple of suspense/mystery threads interwoven and plenty of both action and character development happening, this held my interest throughout. Ben and Isla had a somewhat rocky start, but it was an interesting and enjoyable route to love - and I loved the way that each was willing to sacrifice for the other, even if they didn't always go about it very logically. Richard was also a great character, and there were a few intriguing twists to the story that I didn't see coming. Note that I didn't realise when I picked this up that it was book 4 in a series - but though there did feel like I was missing a bit of family background, it was nothing critical to the story. An interesting read.

Note that I received a complimentary copy of the book from NetGalley. I was not required to write a positive review and this is my considered opinion of the book.

Wow! Paige Edwards pulls out all the stops in this thrilling conclusion to the Pressley-Coombes series! From the first chapter, the action is nonstop as Isla Montjoy fights for her life after witnessing something she shouldn’t have. Left for dead, she miraculously survives and is on the run. Her high profile name and father’s governmental position will place her family in danger if she’s discovered alive by her dirty cop ex-boyfriend; so, she changes her name and has been relying on her love of nursing and painting for support for the last two years.

Ben Pressley-Coombes vows not to fall under the spell of the family’s tradition of falling deeply in love. He’s too worried about his family’s company going bankrupt after a trusted employee stole millions of dollars. On top of that, his father just fell while hiking in the Highlands and is severely injured. Not to mention that the beautiful woman who sprayed him with pepper spray after he startled her, just happens to be his father’s nurse. He’s a little stressed to say the least. That doesn’t stop him from protecting the maddeningly endearing woman when there’s a killer after her.

From the gorgeous Scottish Highlands to beautiful Virginia, this story packs a wallop! I was on the edge of my seat as Isla’s ex seems to always be one step ahead. The minute he discovers her location, he’s right there and even follows her across the pond to the U.S. The suspense kept me hurriedly turning the pages, along with the heartfelt romance.

Ben is such a lovable grump. He’s got a heart of gold, but his disastrous first meeting with Isla doesn’t bring out the best in him. The more he gets to know Isla, it’s clear they’re perfect for each other. I loved the modern marriage of convenience story and forced proximity. I loved the fairy lights, cooking lessons, Isla’s love of gardening, and her painting. I also loved the Pressley-Coombes family dynamics. Ben’s a twin and so there’s a lot of good natured teasing and fun. Cue the jelly beans & hot dogs!

I loved that there were two mysteries going on simultaneously. Both were well written and compelling. I also loved the way faith was expressed throughout the story. Isla has such a difficult time in dealing with her past trauma and Ben helps her find peace through renewed faith. (Don’t miss the author’s touching message at the end.)

This is a must read for Christian romantic suspense fans! Although part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone, but I guarantee, you’ll want to go back and read the previous books. I received an advanced complimentary copy from the publisher. All opinions are my own and voluntarily provided.

Skye Fall by Paige Edwards immerses readers into the UK. Not a single moment was wasted when placing the reader in the danger surrounding the main character, Isla.

Talk about not knowing the guy you’re dating. Edwards writes a cruel villain and a charming hero, which Isla sorely needs. Ben was amazing. His response to the agents who came to question their marriage and his first line while calling Isla’s father had me cracking up. I love monologues in stories when done correctly, and boy, did Ben sweet-talk Isla off her feet toward the end.

The character development moved swiftly as well, and I felt for Isla when she prayed for the Coobs family while hoping God would hear her for their sake, as she often wondered if He listened to her other prayers. I’m glad the author touched on such a depressing mindset to have.

I recommend this story for fans of romantic suspense, hospital drama, and Christian readers for great themes of faith. Those sensitive to domestic violence might take caution before reading, but the author is sensitive and knowledgeable in this regard. May God bless Edwards for her note on trauma at the end of the story.

Thank you to the author, Net Galley, and publisher for allowing me to read an early copy. All opinions are my own.

This book starts in GB. So if you start reading and are a little confused, stick with it its a GREAT book! I wasn't really paying attention when I started reading the book and was pleasantly surprised when about half way through when his faith showed up. I did not realize this was a Christian fiction. By the end of the book their faith starts shining through strongly. I am adding this author to my favorites. This is not just a clean book its a solid Christian book.

Isla Montjoy’s life changes in an instant when she witnesses her police officer boyfriends, corruption. Barely escaping with her life, she finds herself on the run for two years. Despite attempts by her parents to reunite, she lives a life of solitude. It is a walk through the Scottish Highlands that she meets Ben Pressley-Coombes, who is visiting the area with his father. After Isla, pepper sprays him for no obvious reason, he is determined to never lay eyes on her again. However, they begin to spend more time together which leads to their romance. Yet their lives change when Isla’s ex-boyfriend reappears, having tracked her across the UK, determined to silence her for good.
The first chapter of this book started dramatically and held the pace throughout. This was an engaging story which highlights Isla’s strength and courage despite her attack. Ben is her perfect match, helping Isla come out of the shadows and face her past. He is a gentle man, much like his father, Richard. Whilst this book addresses some traumatic issues, it does so without too much graphic detail. A sweet romance.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you to #NetGalley, Paige Edwards and Covenant Communications for the opportunity to read an advance copy of Skye Fall, to be published 24 October 2023. 4/5 Stars for this inspirational romantic suspense novel. The story begins in the UK, moves to Scotland, then to the United States. When Isla discovers, by accident, that her boyfriend, Shay, a UK policeman, is part of a gang of illegal do-gooders, she is hunted by him throughout these countries to silence her. She, as a nurse, is assigned to care for an American climber who had an accident in the Scotland highlands who then becomes her employer. The climber’s son, Ben, is introduced to Isla and after a while, sparks begin to fly. Unfortunately, Shay still haunts her and Ben helps to protect her from him. Great read. #NetGalley #CovenantCommunications #PaigeEdwards #SkyeFall

I wanted to love this book, because it starts off with a great scene, and I liked the protagonist and her handsome man she meets in such an unusual and entertaining way. It has all the right pieces, but unfortunately the writing quality kept distracting me. I pushed along for a bit before deciding it just wasn't worth finishing. Some may not be bothered by the writing--if you like the premise give it a go and you may have a great read. I just wanted to send it for another round of edits so I could enjoy it without being distracted so much.

I really liked the main characters, and I loved seeing the way their relationship blossomed. The author did a really good job at making the characters and story believable. I found myself cheering for Isla and Benjamin the whole way through! I highly recommend this book!

A great, addicting romantic suspense!

I was hooked from the first page, and didn’t want to put this one down. Good character development, great plot, and it was well-written.

Wow! What an intense and thrilling novel!!! Isla and Benjamin don't hit it off well at all in the beginning, but the more time they spend together...I just loved their friendship turned romance. They both have grief and fear and pain to work through, especially Isla, which just adds to the beauty of their story.
There is such growth of faith and hope and love. It was a beautiful story!

Isla Moore is a nurse in the UK. A nurse on the.run because of a secret she stumbled upon. It doesn't take much to startle her, so she keeps pepper spray at the ready. Ben Pressley-Coombs doesn't know what hit him when he approaches a woman for directions and gets hit with pepper spra1y he thinks the woman might be crazy. When Ben's Dad has an accident while mountain climbing, Ben meets Isla again. After an attack in view of the Pressley-Coombs men, Isla is offered a job in the states as Richard Pressley-Coombs private nurse.
This book was fast paced and full of suspense. I loved it.

Have you been reading the Pressley-Coombes books? Or are you a newbie to them? You could definitely pick up this book very easily without having read the previous ones. But I love a good series read in order with knowing all the background tidbits so of course I'm going to recommend you reading them all!!! But you truly could read this by itself and be completely satisfied!

I've loved all of the Pressley-Coombes books but I'm going to say it...this is MY FAVORITE!!!! Oh my heart! Ben and Isla are just perfection!

This book starts with a punch in the gut! Almost literally. I'll let you read to figure it out. But Paige Edwards sure knows how to pack a punch and get the tension flowing and hook her readers! It was an amazing ride from beginning to end. And the sweet romance woven throughout the mystery and suspense was lovely. But I was still stressing for Isla and hoping she would be safe. That initial meet-cute was definitely more of a meet-oops and meet-laugh-out-loud! Poor Ben!

Ben's dad, Richard, was such a sweetheart and so kind and caring. He saw through Isla's facade and was the catalyst to her being saved and protected. And let's just say that she definitely needed someone fighting in her corner for her.

The imagery was beautiful! I felt like if I closed my eyes I could see it all and feel the breeze and smell the smells. I definitely have some places added to my bucket list!

Favorite things...the fairy lights, the telescope. The cutting of vegetables. Flowers, gardening, overalls, paints. And soooo much more! I need to go back and just dive into all of the goodness of this book. The sweet marriage of convenience love story and all of the clues scattered throughout!!!

And make sure you read the author's notes at the end! I loved what she had to say! So very important!!!

Content: Clean. Some mild moments of peril, attacks, death, but nothing overly graphic. Clean language. Sweet kisses but nothing further.

I received a copy from the publisher, Covenant Communications, via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!
