Aleesa and Walter Davis are a happily married couple whose lives are impacted by an injury Walter sustained while deployed to Afghanistan. While Walter was away, Aleesa was busy preparing an erotic book of photos and fantasies she wanted to share when he returned. To their dismay, post traumatic stress syndrome affected his ability to perform in the bedroom. Their marriage is feeling the impact until Walter comes up with an idea after reading Aleesa’s book. He offers her the opportunity to explore her fantasies for 48 hours. Will she accept the offer?
I love that the characters in the novel were mature. The novel was well written but at times the pacing was slow and repetitive. This is my first selection by this author (I will have to go back to read the first book in the series.) and I look forward to more.
