Ever have those times where you pick up a book and just can't get into it. Then just when you are about to call it a DNF you give it one more shot and before you know it its 3am and you just couldn't put it down? That was the sort of book that Extreme Love was for me. This is a fast paced, that I just blitzed right through. Its not a perfect book but it was a good way to pass a few hours.
Good read
This was a good read but I just didn't feel the connection between Dante and Cait. I found the heroine in this a bit annoying and immature. Didn't seem to fit with the rugged MMA fighter.
Dante “Inferno” Jones is used to winning in the ring. But when the MMA fighter meets pretty Caitlyn Moore, he seems to be striking out left and right. Caitlyn or Cait has been a big girl her entire life and she has recently lost eighty pounds. She is still insecure and can't believe someone like Dante would be interested in her. Dante is supposed to be getting ready for the fight of his career but seems to be more focused on Cait. Will she walk away to give him his dream of a big title?
I voluntarily read an advanced review copy of this book
I really liked this book. It took me a while to read because Cait got on my nerves but hey you have to give it to Abby Niles for keeping things realistic. As humans there are things that happen to us that mold us into who we are and while Cait's issues made me want to shake her and say get out of the past and enjoy the present and look forward to your future...I couldn't help but understand why she felt the way she did.
Overall a pretty good book.
This sports love story was an interesting read. It is about accepting yourself and letting the past go. Dante is MMA fighter and he falls for the curvy hot Cait. Cait is fighting her own battles, she was her whole life overweight and she is starting to accept her new body and all the changes that they bring. So that is why she cannot easily accept Dante and his courting. And also she hates violence. Both are developed characters. I was just expecting that all the thinking about Cait wouldn't so effect Dante and his training. And Cait although hat down for her transformation and all the changes she succeeds was really lacking in confidence and although she has strong support from her friends she is full of doubt in herself and her look. Of course, the environment in which Dante is running is ruthless and fake but he has shown her in more than one way that he is perfect for him. She did positively surprise me when she didn't want to run from her feeling but wanted to be there for Dante and support him.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly
I am a huge fan of sports romances and lately I love the fighter books the most- so I was really excited about this book! Sadly this book didn't live up to my expectations and I ended up putting it down at around 50% and had no interest in picking it back up.
ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!
Great characters and great storyline. I loved it from start to finish xx
Extreme Love was an ok read for me. I liked the premise of the story a for the most part the storyline, but also found parts a little unbelievable. I will read more by this author and still recommend you read it for yourself.
I really enjoyed the story between Dante and Cait. Dante was super patient and a was so understanding and protective of Cait. I liked Cait, but there were times her insecurities became too much, I liked the side characters in the story and checked out the next book in the series, which I will definitely read! This was a read I'd recommend!
I enjoyed this book. Great plot. I love MMA story lines. Abby Niles did a great job making this story easy to follow and made me laugh out loud throughout the book. Everyone should have a friend like Paul. Caitlyn was a little annoying how she kept going back and forth about Dante. I loved Dante. I want Dante Jones for my boyfriend, he was great. I was really rooting for Caitlyn and Dante as a couple. I would recommend this book.
Dante "Inferno" Jones never met a woman who wasn't interested, that is until he meets Caitlyn Moore. Caitlyn doesn't understand why Dante keeps pursuing her and even with him trying to keep him at a distance, she has to reluctantly admit she is attracted. However she does not grasp why he would want to be a MMA fighter and struggles with being out of her element. Dante knows what he wants though and it is Caitlyn, with a big fight coming up he knows she is a distraction but he needs her in his life.
Exceptional book. I was not sure initially but I loved this couple. I am always a sucker for quirky heroines and Caitlyn is definitely one. I am also a huge fan of makeover books which Caitlyn is. A once heavy woman who is reinventing herself. Excellent read
