A cop falls for stripper while undercover, but she's not really a stripper.
I enjoyed Kylie and Trevor's story, it went how I thought it would but that was fine. I liked the steam between them and the touch of suspense made it an interesting read.
It's a shame Kylie had be a Virgin, 2nd book I've read in a row that the woman was a Virgin.

Does every book with twin brothers/sis have to be one good and another evil?
Kylie and Stacy are twins. The last one is a strip-pole-dancer and earns a good money. But when she breaks her leg and is unable to work, she asks Kylie to take her place.
Kylie is not like Stacy. She's totally shy. How does she suddenly become an outstanding pole-dancer?
Well, on the night Kylie replaces her sister, she is soon attracted to a client. Only later she discover that this client was a detective.
To Kylie's bad luck, she discovers a body in the club area and Trevor McCade, the hot detective she saw at the club, becomes Kylie's shadow.
Trevor needs her help to infiltrate the club and arrest the killer, but while the killer does not show up, the couple have the sexiest fun possible.
The plot is interesting, but the story has so many flaws that made me anxious wanting to discover details that the author left out.

*I never got around to reading and reviewing this book. I may do so in the future*
Kylie Roberts has always bailed her identical twin sister out, whenever times are tough. Now with her sister injured, it is up to Kylie to fill in as a dancer at a high end men's club, while she recovers. Kylie though is a yoga instructor and although she bluff with the best of them, the difference between her and her sisters is obvious to one man, Detective Trevor McCade.
Trevor is at the men's club undercover, when the men he is with hire "Stacey" for a lap dance, something doesn't add up. Trevor is attracted to the dancer, but there is an innocent quality to her that not only brightens the room, it doesn't fit with the typical jaded personalities he has dealt with before. When Trevor uncovers her secret, he finds himself in a delicate situation, he needs her help to uncover a killer who seems intent on protecting "Stacey".
This was pure fun. Loved that Kylie is so outside her comfort zone, her sister is not a likeable character but you realize that right off. Trevor is pure badass, loved him attitude and how he handles Kylie who is trying to cover her tracks in her lies about who she is. Seductive, sweet, and sinful
Cute...a bit unbelievable, but cute all the same.
Lover Undercover - Samanthe Beck
Mistaken identity, sexual chemistry, murder and mystery are the root of LOVER UNDERCOVER by Samanthe Beck. And from start to finish, I enjoyed what Kylie and Trevor got into.
Kylie has to take her twin sister Stacy's place at the local strip club when Stacy breaks her leg. But, what started out as simple switch so that Stacy can keep her job turns into something much different when Kylie happens upon a dead body outside the club. Add in sexy detective Trevor, who's terribly attracted to Kylie but knows she's hiding something. His attraction just makes him want to get to the bottom of it even more. He's got a case to solve though and he thinks that Kylie/Stacy is right at the center of it.
This was cute, even if the premise of Kylie taking her twin's place was a bit juvenile. I loved all the characters including the real Stacy and Trevor's partner, Ian. The story kept me entertained and although I had figured out who was behind the murders early on, I enjoyed the way everything panned out.
There was a cute epilogue at the end and a very unconventional wedding proposal. I was actually sad to see this one end. LOVER UNDERCOVER is the first book in the McCade Brothers series, and although we didn't get a chance to meet Trevor McCade's brothers in this book, we did learn of their existence. I definitely want to continue on with this series, but I'm more interested in seeing Stacy and Ian's story play out, so I'll be on to that book next.
