I loved this book club kit! The art work is beautiful and the questions to ask during your club meeting are geared for in depth conversations with your club. I love the suggested reads for after you're completed with this book as well.

A great Book Club Kit for a great book. The questions and insights bring different perspectives on Zoraida Córdova's novel and had me reading the Kiss the Girl again and again, and falling more in love with it.

I would definitely recommend this book. The initial description drew me in because ever since childhood I have been a huge fan of the Ariel storyline. Having this being a more modern and real world retelling, especially drew in. I absolutely loved the creative names that had double meanings to mermaid and sea life.

This was not the book for me. First of all, it felt like it wasn't even edited. It was littered with little mistakes. Nothing felt sincere throughout the story or fully fleshed out. We didn't get to know anyone enough to care about them. It also felt like it was trying to be super feminist, but Eric's band was a band full of women with a MAN as the leader of the group. It would have been better to me if it was at the very least a mix of men and women or all men.

Diving into this additional content is like uncovering a treasure trove of creativity—it's innovative, fun, and a delight for any reader! The sheer inventiveness and playfulness woven into this extra material elevate the reading experience to a whole new level. It's not just a story; it's an immersive journey filled with surprises, making every page turn an adventure. Kudos to the creators for injecting such a refreshing dose of innovation and joy into the reading experience. As a reader, stumbling upon this type of content is an absolute thrill, turning each moment with the book into a delightful discovery. 🎉

I love this kit. It's comprehensive and a good starting point for me particularly because I want to start a book club and this will be very useful.

Two great loves of mine, Zoraida and The Little Mermaid. This is one I wish I had the audiobook of as well, and would love to hear a bigger production with some music. Maybe a podcast version where they produce sound clips of the music. I adore this book! It hit all the right marks for what I wanted opening this; Zoraida’s writing style, seeds of my childhood fairytale love, and romance.

I loved the author interview in this one and think the discussion questions would be great if you were reading with a book club!

This is super adorable for a book club, especially if you like fully delving into the theme! I loved the bookmarks you could give you, the food and drink suggestions, having questions not only thought of by the folks who put this together, but also getting more insight into Zoraida as an author! If I had an in person book club, I'd definitely want to pull this together for the group, it seems like such a fun idea.

This needs to be with the book. Not separate from it. There are good questions and good choices for books to read next but should be with the book.

I read the 2nd book in this series last year, not realizing it was part of a series - though after reading all 3, they are unrelated but share a common theme. The theme? All are modern takes on Disney princess stories. This one was such delightful takes on the classics. I liked that book club kit gave recs for similar books.
