The file has some weird formatting stuff happening. Most pages have some color blocking that prevents you from seeing the full recipe. Not sure if the publisher did that on purpose, but it does make it quite difficult to get a real sense of the recipes. Outside of that one annoying bit, the photos are beautiful and the recipes seem fairly easy to follow (I think).

Thank you to Quarto Publishing Group and Netgalley for providing the e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I love Vietnamese food, but as someone who doesn't eat meat, it can be difficult to find good plant-based versions. This cookbook looks incredible and I am absolutely drooling at the recipes within. I'm a diehard tofu lover, but my tofu dishes are feeling a bit repetitive lately (plus I have two picky kids to feed) so I'm so excited about the huge range of tofu ideas in this book! The photography is beautiful and the recipes are well explained. I can't wait to start cooking!

Having been to Vietnam and enjoying their culture and food I looked forward to reading this book and trying the recipes. I am by no means vegan but I always look for ways to cut back my meat intake with tasty and fun meals and this book gave me some great ideas.

The recipes are easy to follow, the hints and tips are great, the photos are very tasty. YUM! This is a book for anyone who likes to try new recipes and foods. You will love it. I plan on making most of the recipes in this book as they are all so very tantalising.

Thank you NetGallley and Quarto Publishing Group, for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Helen Le draws on her considerable experience as the star of the leading Vietnamese YouTube cooking channel, Helen's Recipes, to guide the reader through the preparation of 70 classic dishes from all the various regions of the country.

To be honest, the recipes showcased are heavily reliant on mushrooms and tofu. But I love both, so I am excited at the prospect of these dishes!

The photography is also stunning, making this book a perfect addition to the kitchen of any vegetarian food lover who enjoys Asian food, whether or not they themselves are vegan. The recipes look really good!

Thanks to Netgalley and Quarto Publishing Group – Rock Point for this arc in exchange for my honest review..

I admit that I'm not vegan, but a few vegan meals would surely help with my health issues. There are so many recipes that seem amazing and I want to try !! And I loved that all the recipes had a picture, made me hungry at once. I've never been to Vietnam or eaten Vietnamese food, but this sure made me want to try.

I have taken a lot of Asian cooking classes but never a vegan one --- and given my orthorexic, paleo, allergy-ridden, coeliac, alkaline (etc. etc. etc. as the King of Siam/Thailand would say in “The King and I”) extended family, this book just might work. None of the recipes are too hard to understand or make and one can easily add in animal products if you have non-vegans at your meal and want to make them happy. Great book. Of course, there is a lot of tofu in this book but given my love of it (and mushrooms - lots of mushrooms here..yummmmm.) it is a definite reader and keeper for me. #shortbutsweetreviews

Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of “ Vegan Vietnamese: Vibrant Plant-Based Recipes to Enjoy Every Day” by Helen Le. All opinions are my own.

This beautiful cookbook showcases 70+ recipes of delicious looking vegan vietnamese dishes.

I love that the author starts with some staple ingredients to have in the kitchen. That is so helpful to the reader and shows that the author knows what they are doing.

The recipes sound delicious and there are multiple I am hoping to try asap. The photography was beautiful and well done. Overall enjoyed the layout of the cookbook.

As a vegan I do struggle to find recipes that aren’t overly complicated but this book is filled with great simple and easy, tasty recipes!

Absolutely beautiful photography, but too many recipes rely on mushrooms and tofu for my tastes. I loved the chapter on pickles, and definitely want to try a few - the bean sprout one looks like a highlight for me.

Really nice for Vietnamese food beginners! I liked the in-depth explanations of traditional ingredients and protein sources - but would also have loved more recipes that focus on the veggies instead of the meat substitutes. I followed the recipe for the pineapple-braised tofu and found the sauce a little meh.
