This was not to my taste. The plot was confusing and at times pedantic and honestly felt like it dragged on for me, For a book with such an interesting and twisty premise it missed the mark and just couldn't hold my attention.

This book was super unique, which I loved. Hard to follow at times, but still a provocative read. I enjoyed it, all in all.

This book is like a cross between journey to the center of the earth and a Hawaii 5-0 fanfic. I kind of wish I had read this peacefully waiting on a fishing boat

After an amusing and informative prologue, the situation quickly becomes very confusing. The humor is completely absurd, somewhat like in a Sacha Baron Cohen movie, but where the plot has completely gone off the rails. Everything happens too quickly, and it's difficult to keep up with the action and understand why things are unfolding the way they are. It was too much for me, and I struggled to get into it.
