The first book in a new paranormal trilogy I couldn't resist
And it turned out to be a story not to be missed!
Eighty-five years ago three lone wolves first shifted
To become judge and executioner, they're especially gifted.

The lone wolves are white, black and grey
With hair and eyes that match they say.
The three are loners, never meeting each other,
But maybe fate has other plans for them to discover?

Devlin is the white wolf's name
Hunting rogue wolves is his game.
So why does he feel the need to go out of his way
To New York City today?

Whilst there he meets Zoe Galvani who is human it is true
So why is he pulled to her, what should he do?
It seems she's being targeted by a rogue but now
He can't believe she's his mate - how?

As magic, mystery and danger entwine
Maybe their fate is something divine?
Finding out what forces are at play
Will have them working together night and day.

A story packed with romance, drama and more
As the two discover what fate has in store.
A brilliant, well paced read that kept me reading
So now the next books in the series are what I'm needing!

For my complementary copy of this book, I say thank you,
As I share with you this, my honest review.

I enjoyed this new Lone Wolf Legacy series and can't wait to learn what else we learn. I loved Zoe and Devlin's chemistry and of course, I love a growly shifter.

Devlin Moore, the White wolf, has spent the nearly the last century, hunting rogue werewolves, as part of his destiny. This means he leads a lonely existence. There are two other wolves like him but they keep to themselves but doing the same job.

After dealing with the latest rogue he feels drawn to New York City, and follows the pull but is unsettled to discover it's a human.

Zoe Galvani is an artist. There's something about her that immediately draws Devlin to her. Her eyes are the same unusual shade as his and he has the growing urge to mark her.

Devlin feels the need to protect when she's attacked and figure out what magical forces are at play surrounding them.

Thanks so much to the author, Entangled and NetGalley for this ARC to review.

Taming the White Wolf kicks off a new series for Walters. It explores the lore of the lone wolf, used by packs to kill rogues. Except, there are 3 lone wolves in this story. I'm guessing future books will feature the other 2 lone wolves.

Devlin is the white wolf and finds himself in New York City hunting a rogue who has marked a human. But, unexpectedly, he feels a strong connection to this woman, even though lone wolves never mate. Zoe is a bit of a loner herself-no family, no real friends. She feels the connection too, but as a human, accepting the idea that werewolves are real and so is magic-its all a bit much. Plus, now they are trying to kill her.

The story builds the world since it is book one. Mages are trying to steal the immortality of the lone wolves. The wolves must figure out how to stop it, but also understand why, for the first time ever, there are 3 of them instead of just one. I found the story interesting and I enjoyed the characters. I do plan to continue the series because I want to see how everything pans out. I have always enjoyed NJ Walter's wolf books, and this one met my expectations!

If you like authors like Katie Reus, Milly Taiden, Shelly Laurenston...then you will probably like Taming the White Wolf!

Fabulous paranormal romance is pretty much guaranteed with this author as she writes about characters you want to cheer for usually in almost impossible situations. This is the first of a trilogy about three ultimate Werewolf enforcers although admittedly there's usually only one but clearly things change !
Devlin is used to being a lone wolf and never trusting others, not even his brothers in arms as it were but a chance encounter with a lonely human female finds him battling his instincts as someone seems determined to harm Zoe. Zoe didn't believe in woo woo magic but when confronted with a huge white wolf who turns into a very sexy male maybe it's time to start believing well, if she can live that long !
It's always a joy to read this authors work and her characters truly entertain. Perhaps the romance is a little rushed but as it sets up for even more goodness when we finally get to meet the Black and indeed the Grey Wolf I'm not complaining. I particularly enjoyed the reason why Zoe felt like an outsider but obviously my lips are sealed. A fun, sexy read that fans of paranormal romance will enjoy and as usual the cover art is gorgeous !
This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

I really liked the way the characters meshed in this. They were so different but so similar, it was really well designed. Zoe is just a normal girl trying to live her life, and her entire life is upended when she crosses paths with Devlin, The White Wolf, a lone wolf destined to help control rogues around the world.

When their paths cross, its love at first sight... or at least, lust. Whether real or designed by magic and a more sinister force, they don't know. Can they survive long enough to find out? Can they even be together if they do? She's human and he's an immortal werewolf. But they fit together so well...

Taming The White Wolf by N.J. Walters is such a wonderful read especially from N.J Walters which is my favorite author. The book got me hooked up from chapter 1 just like the others book. The book got a plenty of hot steamy love making scenes, a little bit of angst and suspense, a little heart attack from the heart breaking scenes, a rollercoaster ride of emotional scenes and a heart fluttering beautiful happy ending. This book are well written story with an interesting storyline. I fell in love with the strong female character who grown up as an orphan kid and the lone wolf who have been abandoned but yet are able to show affection towards his lover.

The attraction between Devlin and Zoe are irresistible from the very first moment they met. With her unusual same shocking hue eyes as his, his need to mark her are growing.

This book got everything I'll ever wanted, the sweetness in romance, the hot steamy scenes and packed with thrilling action. I'll definitely be reading more from N.J. Walters and I'm looking forward to read the next story which is Kade and Degan.

I am absolutely smitten and addicted to NJ Walters werewolves. So addicted to all of her werewolf books, and this one is no exception. I devoured this book the first day I got it, couldn’t stop reading it…and didn’t want to stop reading it.

Werewolves, mages and humans, oh my. This book had a lot going on, fast paced from the first chapter, all the way to the end. Devlin is what they call a lone wolf in the werewolf world, and normally there is only one, hence the lone wolf, but when he turned, there were 2 others that turned as well, making three in the world at the same time. Lone wolves are the bringer of justice in the werewolf world, hunting down rogue werewolves. Lone wolves are bigger, stronger, and let’s not forget they are immortal as well. I know, I know they are total badasses. He is hunting down a rogue when he runs into Zoe, and saves her. Then he coincidentally runs into her again later. This starts them on their fast paced addicting journey, with all the twists, and the undeniable chemistry between them that they can’t fight.

Safe read, with mates. Great storyline that will leave you wanting more…nowish. This was an addicting book, and I can’t wait to read more of the lone wolves.

Taming the White Wolf is the first book in a 3 books series, which caught my attention from the first page. Devlin is the only White Wolf on the planet and has a lonely existence. His life changes when he meets Zoe, who has almost the same coloring in hair and eyes as Devlin. They will understand later that their meeting was meant to happen.

I loved the author's writing style, character development, and world-building. It was very easy to read and you kept on turning the page. Everything was developing pretty quickly, so you could say it´s a high-paced paranormal romance. Yet the main characters have enough time to get to know and learn about each other.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was entertaining and at around 220 pages, a quick, easy read.

Devlin Moore is one of three lone wolves that exist outside of a pack and are in charge of hunting down rogue werewolves. Doomed to an immortal life with no mate and no pack, Devlin is lonely. Hunting for a rouge in the area, a chance encounter brings Zoe into his life. Zoe grew up in foster care and has always felt set apart. After she meets Devlin, strange things keep happening to her and it’s starting to get dangerous. Can they learn to trust each other and their oddly instant connection?

I really enjoyed the overall story line and the villians’ plotting. I want to know more! I think my biggest issue with this was the instalove trope - it’s just not my favorite even if this did work with the storyline. I prefer a little more development and tension in the romance. Other than that, a few plot items seemed either too convenient or too implausible. This would make a great palate cleanser, especially if you don’t mind instalove! This is the first book in a trilogy that follows each of the three lone wolves.

Thank you to Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for the advanced copy. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Taming the White Wolf releases July 24th.

What a fantastic start to this new series that features The White Wolf who is an independent enforcer for the wolves. There should only be one but due to something happening at his creation there are now three of them. They are still lone wolves and have very little contact with each other or any other beings.
Devlin is drawn to New York for what he assumes is a rogue wolf but then meets Zoe who is a human and seems to have some of his characteristics which in itself is unheard of but he also finds he is strangely drawn to her too.
There is magic afoot and they are being pursued but who would dare to cross a lone wolf?
This was a super fast read for me as I enjoyed the storytelling so much.
After such a great ending I can’t wait to see which is the next wolf in the series.

Not as good as it could've been. Unfortunately this book just fell short. The characters were kind of annoying, the romance was rushed (even with the love at first sight part), and the plot felt pointless. Honestly, this read more like a prequel to a main story than anything. I understand this is the first book in the series, but there were so many great opportunities for the characters and plot to be more exciting. I might read the next book if it's from a different POV (like the grey or black wolf) but probably won't if the books stick with Devlin and Zoe.

Seeing the cover peaked my interest. Then reading the description sealed the deal. I'm so glad that I read it! I can't explain why but I love paranormal books. I couldn't put it down, I didn't want it to end. There was fantasy, heat, magic, mystery, romance, action, and wolves. I liked Zoe's strong, take no crap attitude. I think it paired well with Devlin's energy. The story had me fully invested in these characters and I can't wait to read more about them. I really hope there are more books to follow, I definitely want to know what happens next.

What can I say about Devlin and Zoe's story... it was awesome! Devlin is the white wolf: protector of the werewolf society, judge and jury of the rogue elements. His job is brutal, violent, and most of all lonely. Zoe's upbringing has made her leery and distrustful. Raised in the Foster System, the only one she relies on is herself. Destiny may have thrown them together but circumstances force a temporary alliance when magic and mysticism combine to threaten all hope of survival and safety. This is book one in a trilogy.

This was such a good story line. It kept me hooked from the beginning. There was good spice and the ending is perfect setting up for the next book. I can't wait to see what happens with the white wolf next.

Fantastic!

The characters pull you in and the plot is engaging! I love how Devlin and Zoe find their way among the craziness thrown at them. This story has action, emotion, surprises and leaves you wanting more.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

This is Devlin and Zoe's story. Devlin, the lone wolf enforcer, gets all caught up with Zoe, this artsy chick from New York. At first, he is in denial about having a mate. But their connection is off the charts. The plot's got magic, action, and some spicy scenes. The author takes a fresh spin on shifters and packs, making it a fun and addictive read. Devlin's whole belief system gets shaken up, and Zoe's forced to face the truth about supernatural stuff. It's book one of the Lone Wolf Legacy series, and I can't wait for the next one! This story has everything you want in a shifter romance and keeps you on a wild rollercoaster from start to finish. Go check it out if you're into PNR shifters romance.

Shifters? Check. Action? Check. Romance? You bet and of the shifter variety ;).

If you enjoy shifter romances, this one is a good one to pick up. It takes a bit of a different spin on shifters/packs, fated mates and magic. We are used to see whole packs, alphas and betas, but N.J Walters offers us a human exception to the rule. With a medium burn plot, some spicy scenes and lots of action, it was easy to enjoy. Overall, a bit of a rollercoaster ride in a number of ways.

2 individuals living seemingly lonely lives. Devlin, a lone shifter with his own unique circumstances is the enforcer and executioner of his kind. Then Zoe, the freelance graphic artist from New York, has a chance encounter with Devlin, not once but twice.

When the fates or maybe something more unnerving seems to intervene into their lives, secrets are revealed, paths are changed and their lives are certainly flipped.

Devlin begins to question everything he has ever known about his kind and beliefs and Zoe is forced into acknowledging not everything is folklore and stories.

When forced to stay together, for their own survival, Devlin and Zoe are catapulted into a series of unexpected events, they have to figure out how to navigate, for the first time, with someone else, regardless of all the odds stacked against them. Not only that, but it seems like every turn they make, there always seems to be another challenge ahead of them.

Thank you NetGalley and Entangled for sending me this ARC to read and review.

This is a great pick for shifter romance lovers. It has an interesting plot, filled with secrets, a legend and action. There was never a dull moment. The main characters are likeable and the chemistry between them is great. I look forward to read the next book in the series.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a copy of the book.

Okay so I love werewolf novels in general but this one is really good!

Devlin is a lone white wolf destined to be well…alone forever ( he is immortal) until he Meets Zoe who upon first meeting makes him feel things he’s never felt before… is there magic in the works? Are the feelings they both are feeling even real? Lone wolfs don’t get mates, or do they?

I’m not gunna give any spoilers but let’s just say it’s one hell of a ride, and I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

As the White Wolf, Devlin Moore’s job for the last century has been the justice bringer for werewolves. It is his job to take out those who break the rules going rogue, or who for whatever wolf reason, need to be ended. His job is brutal filled with hunting rogues and dispensing death as well always being an outcast until called to duty and even then, no one wants him to stick around after the work is done. Unusually, for the first time ever, there are two other wolves doing his same duty: one grey and the other black.

Devlin encounters Zoe Galvani whom he saves twice from dire circumstances knowing this is no coincidence since Zoe bears his unusual white eye color. Zoe is strangely drawn to her literal white knight; she knows there is something different about him and their odd connection. Zoe has spent most of her life alone as well without family or close friends. As attracted as she is to Devlin, Zoe knows there is something not quite right about this big brute of a man.

When crazy things start happening and Zoe is confronted with that fact that not only does magic exist in the world, but so do werewolves, she finds herself unable to turn away from Devlin. Someone trying to manipulate Devlin for nefarious purposes is working behind the scenes in order to steal something precious. Despite Devlin’s near century living a lone wolf life, for the first time he needs someone else and that person is Zoe.

This story is the first in the Lone Wolf Legacy series. It has all the enjoyable elements of paranormal romance with magic, mayhem, and folks who would do evil in the name of having it all. The main characters are appealing, and it is clear their story line will continue as Devlin seeks to form an alliance with the other two of his kind to combat the malevolent ones stalking them.
