Susan Mallery is one of my favorite, go-to author for romance novels. "The Summer Book Club" is a fantastic. book.

Three women at different ages and stages of their lives, each facing unique challenges, come together and find genuine romance and career fulfillment -- it's a very satisfying read about a wonderful group of appealing characters. The Book Club theme seems a tiny bit forced, as it doesn't have that much to do with the characters or the plot, but it doesn't truly matter or take away from a great reading experience. Any reader who likes Susan Mallery, will enjoy her newest title, as will fans of writers like Kristin Higgans, Sarah Morgan, Mary Alice Monroe, and Elin Hilderbrand.

A wonderful story about life, love and friendship. Lauren and Paris are life long friends, Cassie is a newcomer in town who rents Laurens newly remodeled rental unit. The three women become close to each other during their Summer book club.
I enjoyed their relationship with each other and their closeness to Laurens 2 young daughters. All of them meet or reconnect with wonderful men and all of them fear making a commitment.
How they handle it and support each other is the best part of the story.
I loved it.

A friendship plus romance novel that follows two best friends (Laurel and Paris) as they move into the summer months and begin their usual summer book club. They soon meet Cassie, who's new in town, and she joins their book club and quickly becomes a close friend as well. As the summer progresses, it's clear there will be ups and downs for each of them but their friendship and humor kept the story engaging. A a nice, fast-paced beach read for fans of summer romances and chick lit.

Thank you to Susan Mallory, NetGalley, and Harlequin Trade Publishing, Canary Street Press for an advanced eBook in exchange for my honest review.

The Summer Book Club is a good summer read. The book follows three women who are part of a book club as they steer through life and the obstacles that came their way. I really liked how the three women had realistic stories about love, divorce and self discovery. There was a lot of angst at the beginning of the book that was off-putting for me but I enjoyed the growth of all three women. Although the story was quite lengthy and not too interesting in spots, it was still a good light beach read.

Thank you to NetGallery and to Harlequin Publishing for giving me a copy of the book.

Another great Susan Mallery book. Loved the book club and the fact that they were reading a book I had read several years ago.

The characters are well written. a little up and down on the plot. I get tired of women who can't make up their minds and whine . This turned out well tho and I did enjoy it

Summer book club is a great summer read. The three heroines are all battling their own demons from the past. The growth they achieve through their connection with each other is very heartwarming. I will definitely check out more Susan Mallery books

This is a fun quick read. I like this author. Realistic characters keep the story moving quickly. Who doesn’t love a book club? Friends meet a newcomer and invite her to join their book club. This would make a great movie. This book was sent to me electronically by Netgalley for review. Thanks to the publisher and gifted author.
