Just not my fav. Didn't grip me like Kiersten Modglin's other books do. I think it was too long for what it was and just didn't do it for me.

Too long. Not Kiersten Modglin’s best work. I much prefer her more recent books. This one could have been a lot shorter. Thank you NetGalley for this audiobook arc.

Becoming Mrs. Abbott was a great read by Kiersten Modglin. The Abbott's are liars with a charming facade. A member of their quiet community is brutally murdered and they find themselves as prime suspects. They want to prove their innocence except a tape is discovered with horrifying evidence on it. I enjoyed reading Rachael and Caide's story and cant wait to read more by the author.

Engaging audiobook with a lot of twists. Some of the plot lines were not believable. I enjoyed the narrators.

I very much enjoyed this book. The short chapters along with multiple perspectives were great. There are a lot of characters with lots of secrets and lies. I did not guess what was happening so i was surprised throughout. Great read. Thanks NetGalley for the audio eArc.

I enjoyed this read and thought the audio was well done. I do want to note this is the author’s first book and was originally published under the title If it Walks Like a Killer. While this is not my favorite of the author’s books, it was a enjoyable overall and kept my attention the entire time. The narrators did a great job with the story and its multiple POVs. The short chapters helped but it was a little lengthy and moved slow in some parts. I want to get through all of her books as she is a favorite of mine, and was glad I read this one.

"The Abbotts are liars. Their charming façade is far from the chilling reality that exists behind closed doors. But despite their secrets, they aren’t killers...are they?"

I love that Kiersten Modglin's backlist is being released in audio. I believe that this was her debut novel, originally released in 2016 as If It Walks Like a Killer.
This is another solid thriller from Kiersten Modglin. And with a full cast the audiobook is very well done. Told from multiple POV's as we follow several twists and turns throughout this story. At times you will doubt everyone's POV, because clearly someone is lying. While I personally didn't love the big twist, I think that most thriller readers will enjoy it.

⭐⭐⭐💫 (3.5)

This was an excellent thriller. Tons and twists and turns! I was on the edge of my seat imagining many scenarios, none of which was right. Definitely some of this authors best work. You won't see the ending coming until its in front of you.

Becoming Mrs. Abbott is another twisty thriller from Kierstin Modglin. The story is about the Abbotts, a charming couple hiding many secrets behind closed doors. When a member of the neighborhood is found murdered, the Abbotts become prime suspects. What is the truth about this seemingly perfect couple?

This was a fun read that I wish was a bit shorter. The full cast really elevated the story and kept me listening. Overall, a fun time that I had just a few quibbles about!

Rating: 4/5 Stars

Super thrilled that all of KMods backlist is becoming available on audio now. I scooped these books up so fast and flew through a few even faster!

Oh this one is fun. It will grab you right from the start and keep hold of your attention until the very last page. Seriously this book consumed my life until I finished it, I just needed to know what happened. This was a great psychological/domestic thriller and it had me on the edge of my seat. Becoming Mrs. Abbott is full of so many lies and deceptions that it will have your head spinning.

Fun fact for you - this book is actually KMods first ever published book and it was published until the title - “If It Walks Like A Killer”. Regardless of a name change or what - this book was goood!

The full cast audio is literally everything for this one. The cast consists of Ellen Quay, Angie Kane, Pete Cross, Pat Grimes, Chris Lutkin, Stephanie Willing, Qarie Marshall and Sarab Kamoo and let me tell you, I devoured this - they absolutely nailed this and made this story read as if I was watching a movie! Everyone was phenom.

Definitely recommending this one to all my psychological/domestic thriller fans. All my KMod fans - if you haven’t check this one out - you need to! Becoming Mrs. Abbott just released 7/25 on audio!

Huge Thank You to Netgalley, Kiersten Modglin and Dreamscape Media for the ALC in exchange for my honest review.

Becoming Mrs.Abbott
By Kiersten Modglin

Kiersten did it again with this amazing story. The more I read KMod stories the more I love her and can’t wait for the next story.

Becoming Mrs. Abbott is a fantastic story about a mother who is new up killing her husbands mistress that she didn’t even know existed. How can they have this iron clad evidence against Rachel? This is a twisty thriller about secrets, lies, deception and finally truth.
You have to read this KMod thriller.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the ARC

Like all of Kiersten Modglin's books this story really had me guessing! I really could not stop listening because I really wanted to know what had happened.
The book is told through multiple viewpoints, which makes the story even more vivid!
Usually I am not a big fan of courtroom-scenes, and I am not able to tell if the procedures are acurate (since our justice system works in a very different way)
but I know one thing for sure: a twisty story with plenty of turns that keeps you entertained!
Thanks #NetGalley #Dreamscape Media for this advanced audiobook!

This was a really fun murder mystery/psychological thriller/detective book and I really enjoyed it. The short chapters are so entertaining and I really liked all of the different points of view that the story is told from. I always enjoy this author and this book/audiobook was no exception. I received a free copy of this book from netgalley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Becoming Mrs. Abbott was narrated by Ellen Quay, Angie Kane, Pete Cross, Pat Grimes, Chris Lutkin; Stephanie Willing, Qarie Marshall and Sarab Kamoo. They were all amazing and this audiobook was 11 hours and 19 minutes.
This was interesting and intense like all of Kiersten Modglin books but it felt different to me. I cared more in this one and also hated more! KG writes moving, shocking novels that will make your mind race.
I highly recommend.

Another great and twisted story from Kiersten Modglin! The audio wasn’t my favorite, I didn’t love the narration but that didn’t keep me from enjoying this book! Kiersten does such an amazing job of getting you invested in her characters just to toss everything you thought you knew completely upside down!

Kiersten is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors for her ability to write twists I never see coming. This one didn’t disappoint!
