Thank you very much for Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with an advanced readers copy in exchange for a honest review!

Wiesner was very successful in articulating the trauma and pain that is left in the wake of drug abuse and parental neglect through Anna. I enjoyed reading the complexity within Anna's relationship with her mother and how this affected her moving on throughout her life.

Anna's relationship with Gabe was truly heartwarming and their connection was very strong. This is probably one of the first novels I've read in which the age gap (5 years) isn't constantly screaming out at me. The novel is very fast paced and spans almost 15 years which I appreciated as we could clearly see how their relationship grew and blossomed. Their love and appreciation of each other was admirable.

Wiesner also artfully demonstrates the importance and the integrity of found family, leaving the reader with a hopeful and sweet message at the end of the novel.

I would definitely recommend this novel!

I absolutely loved this book! I want to be a part of the Wetherall family so bad! I really enjoyed Anna and Gabe’s relationship. This book had all sorts of twists and turns, but also romance (closed door), that I couldn’t put it down! Thanks NetGalley for the ARC!

Anna is struggling to make something of herself...and she's only 16. When she is randomly paired with college senior Gabe for a project, neither know that this relationship will be so pivotal for both of them as the years go on.

This was a good book that has a lot of heart to it. Anna is an interesting character. She's so strong and really pushes through so much in order to better herself and her situation. Watching her grown and learn to accept things in her life really made this book what it is. You get really emotionally attached to the characters and want to see them do well.

For me, I thought the pacing was off at times. Some things were really slow and then you sped through some moments. I also wanted to see more of Gabe. They share the POV but Anna is much stronger and drawn out.

This is a good book, especially for those that love emotionally charged books. Lots of angst in this one!

Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the gifted copy. My Reviews are always honest

It All Comes Back To You
Melissa Wiesner

I absolutely adored this book! First impressions, the cover is absolutely stunning.

This book takes you into the world of Anna and Gabe.
Anna is a high school student who has been handed a really hard life. Anna is completing university classes when she meets Gabe. These two are paired up for their university class project.
Anna and Gabe quickly form a close relationship but once Gabe starts finding out about Anna’s secrets, her first thing to do is run.
You follow them for the next 15 years, where they experience fights that keep them apart, loss that brings them together, marriages, new jobs, new cities and new struggles but every few years they always end up back to their roots.

This book is well written, heart breaking hearing everything Anna has gone through, frustrating (in the good way), and hard to put down.
I found myself rooting for Anna and Gabe the whole time and was very happy with the full circle ending.
This was my first Melissa Wiesner book and won’t be my last!

Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture and Melissa Wiesner for this ARC

The storyline isn’t unlike many other storylines I’ve read and it’s easy to see where it’s going but I suppose it’s all about the journey that those characters go on and the obstacles along the way that keeps the readers attention. It is a bit of a slow burn and for me it lacked spice in the way of something different. I did enjoy it but I suppose I was hoping there might be a few surprises along the way. I really loved all the characters especially Gabe’s big welcoming family. Anna I found to be a strong character and Gabe was such a lovable character that anyone would love to have in their corner. The narration was engaging and held my attention. It was a little repetitive at times and the ending a little abrupt but if childhood friendships that last a lifetime are your thing then this one is for you.

I’d like to thank Bookouture and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘It All Comes Back To You’ written by Melissa Weisner in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Anna Campbell and Gabe Weatherall are put together to complete a college project and he immediately treats her like his kid sister, but there’s something about Anna that makes her impossible to forget. As they work together at the library and his home Gabe learns more about her tough upbringing and Anna realises he’s the best friend she’ll ever have, or want to have.

‘It All Comes Back To You’ is a wonderful, wonderful novel that’s gripping, emotionally-charged and oh so heartbreaking. I’ve been glued to my Kindle as the superb writing has made me laugh, cry, and appreciate my family and the ones I love the most. The characters have so much warmth that I really wanted to be a part of the Weatherall family and I was continually hoping that Gabe and Anna would see what was in front of them and fall in love. I’ve been crying on and off throughout the story but it wasn’t until I reached the last few chapters that I was continually grabbing handfuls of tissues. This is the third novel I’ve read by the amazing Melissa Weisner and although the first two were fantastic this latest novel is so brilliant I’d happily give it ten stars if I could. It’s a story that will be difficult to forget and I can wholeheartedly recommend, but keep the tissues close by!

It All Comes Back to You by Melissa Wiesner is an intense and emotionally charged romance that explores the damaging effects of keeping secrets. This novel follows the life of Anna, a young woman who works two jobs to put herself through college and keeps her family and personal life a closely guarded secret. Anna’s life is turned upside down when she meets Gabe, a top student with a loving family and an undeniable connection to Anna. Their romance blossoms quickly, and Anna finds herself drawn to Gabe in ways she never thought possible.

However, as their relationship grows deeper, Anna’s past comes back to haunt her, and she must choose whether to continue hiding the truth or face the consequences. What sets this novel apart from others in the genre is its emphasis on the psychological and emotional impact of secrets. Wiesner expertly weaves a story that delves deep into the minds of both Anna and Gabe as they grapple with their own secrets and the secrets of the people they love.

The writing in It All Comes Back to You is top-notch, with beautifully crafted sentences that perfectly capture the emotions and experiences of the characters. Wiesner’s ability to create realistic and fully fleshed out characters is impressive, and readers will find themselves fully invested in the lives and fates of Anna and Gabe. As the story unfolds, readers are taken on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, from heartwarming moments of joy to heart-wrenching scenes of pain and despair. The pacing of the novel is well-crafted, with just enough suspense and drama to keep readers hooked until the very end. Ultimately, It All Comes Back to You is a story about the power of love and the destructive nature of secrets. Wiesner expertly explores the complexities of human relationships, showing how even the strongest bonds can be broken by a single secret. This is a novel that will make you laugh, cry, and hold your loved ones a little closer.

In conclusion, I highly recommend It All Comes Back to You to anyone who enjoys a gripping and emotionally charged romance. This is a novel that will stay with you long after you’ve turned the final page. Melissa Wiesner has created a masterpiece that will be cherished by readers for years to come.

Tears were shed. So many tears

This is such a beautiful (very) slow burn best friends to lovers romance. But more importantly, it's a beautiful story about trust, what really makes a family, and healing.

Not quite a perfect five because I would have really liked to see more during the transition of their relationship. Maybe a teensy bit more obvious pining from both of them.

While there isn't anything extremely graphic on page, there are some possible triggering events. Please take care of yourself.

I loved it! I may possibly have a new favorite author. Good thing I didn’t have anything to do today because I started reading this morning and didn’t stop until I reached the end. A beautiful ending, I must say.

This was a heartfelt, not over-the-top friendship turned romance story with the most lovable characters. This was a testimony of the importance of friendship and family and how it changes a person.

This was a romance book with a bit of deeper story line. It was nice that the author tried to make the story deeper than just falling in love. I really enjoyed the timeline- the book moved throughout multiple years and I really enjoyed this. I like the characters and the way they grew.

The element of a ‘deep secret’ Anna was holding back was continually hinted at and felt immature. It was easily guessed and ultimately glazed over.

Overall it was a cute love story and an easy read with a happy ending.

Good book to get lost in. Romance, well-developed characters and a great story spanning over fifteen years. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. Four stars.

This book had heart and soul. It was instantly gripping and pulled me into the world of Anna and Gabe. I adored both characters and was rooting for them the entire way. There are so many things to ponder (and feel) while reading this book.

Anna has not had it easy. Not by a long shot. She works two jobs and is taking a college class when she meets Gabe. She keeps everyone at arm’s length and will not discuss her family. She is very private, kind, has admirable goals, and is determined. Gabe is outgoing, from a loving and well-off family. He is intelligent, a member of a fraternity and kind. Anna and Gabe form a fast friendship and enjoy spending time together. Gabe's family also enjoy having Anna around and everyone becomes concerned when they learn about Anna's circumstances but instead of talking it out, Anna runs...

As both characters age, and go on with their lives, their friendship endures. They have their ups and downs but always come back to being friends. Will their friendship survive their secrets?

As I mentioned there is a lot of food for thought and lessons in this book. This book touches on learning to trust, overcoming obstacles, finding your family, and accepting help to name a few. I also enjoyed the characters in this book. Gabe's family was wonderful and who wouldn't want to spend time with them? Plus, the characters in this book deal with realistic issues. Not everyone is a great communicator, that takes time and trust.

This is a friends to lovers book that brilliantly showed an evolution of relationships. I appreciated how their friendship started and how each grew during their friendship. This book is not a steamy bodice ripper but a rewarding journey that took the characters time to make.

I found this book to be well written, heartbreaking, heartwarming and hard to put down. I had both the book and audiobook. I enjoyed the audiobook narration and thought it was well done. This was my first book by Melissa Wiesner and I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

Such a great book of a back and forth love story. It was beautiful to see the way Gabe cared for Anna throughout the entire book and gave her a new healthy and loving family. You really never know what is going on in someone’s home life and it’s so important to pay attention to clues where there could be abuse or neglect. This pulled at the heart strings!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my review thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher.

It All Comes Back to You has a great storyline. I loved Anna and Gabe and the characters who were in their lives. This is a feel good, slow burn love story that has a great HEA.

This is the story of Gabe and Anna, who first meet when they’re paired as partners on a class project. Gabe isn’t thrilled at first because while he’s in his senior year of college, it turns out Anna is only a high schooler. It doesn’t take Gabe long to figure out Anna is incredibly smart and hardworking, but he also starts to notice something is off. Gabe is determined to help Anna and find out what’s truly going on with her. His family ends up taking Anna under their wing too. This story follows them over the course of a decade and a half while they both grow as people and life takes them their own directions. They continuously come back to each other no matter how much time has separated.

I only gave this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for a few reasons. One reason being that the “secret” Anna had felt very obvious to me. I never had an OMG 🤯moment as I got into the story. The other reason I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is that their romance didn’t suck me in like I would’ve liked. I was told they were majorly in love or had all these feelings, but I didn’t FEEL that. I think it was due to the timeframe that this story spanned over, but I would’ve liked to feel slightly more of a connection to them.

Overall this was a great story. My first book from this author but definitely not my last! 👏🏼

Que interesarte cruzarte con libros como el que escribió Melissa Wiesner en It All Comes Back to you.
