IF you are looking for a STEAMY read, look no further.
Georgia is in town for ten days, and meets and falls for three brothers. Each brother is hot, sexy, and completely different from the other two. When she is with them, each of the brothers share a different kind of connection with Georgia, and she falls fast for them.
I do wish there was a little more embellishment to the storyline itself, but that doesn't always happen with this genre. Overall, a great, and HOT read!
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Genre: Reverse harem Erotica
Trope:
Format: ereader
Length: 157 pages
Title & author: Making Her Thiers by Lily Manning
Release date: 23 August 2023

My thoughts:

I couldn't get into this book as much as I wanted to. I just kept waiting for more on the plot and the character development. In the book it kept repeating the same thing, Knox is intense, possesive and loyal. Finn has a laid back approach, always laughing and fun to be around. Lachlan is caring and understands Georgia like no one else. But there wasn't enough evidence in the book to back up any of these as the book was so short and felt like it was rushed.

Georgia was only in Edinburgh for 10 days but some how even though her and the brothers didn't want a serious relationship they ended up falling in love with out spending much quality time with each other then when they were having sex.

The last sex scene was very unhygienic and was making me cringe a little bit after reading Georgia was having a penis in her bum, then her vagina and to finish off in her mouth.

The time frame of the ending did not make sense to me as it was titled 3 months later but then there was a sentence of Georgia saying " In the six months I've been here, I've learned so much about myself and the three men I loved and adore".

I really wanted to love this book if it had more to the plot and character development it would of been amazing. I loved all the other sex scense but the last one.

Was this story absurd? Yes. Was it also hot? Ummm YES. Now while I can’t see 3 insanely gorgeous Scottish brothers being willing to share 1 woman, it did make for some insanely sexy reading. Why can’t we all be so lucky? Not a bad novella.

So, to be brutally honest… I like a little foreplay with my romance books. This one isn’t giving me foreplay. I don’t mind when a book moves fast. I’ve read plenty of romance shorts but this needs to SLOW DOWN.

Take a minute compose the thoughts that are needed on how this is supposed to play out.

If the intent is to be fast and heavy with it set me up for that. Don’t shove everything into my face all at once otherwise it just jarring. You don’t even know how many times while I was reading this that I reacted like this:

“WTF”
“Wait how did we get here again?”
Bursted out in laughter at how ridiculous what I was reading was
Generally just being mind bogglingly confused at how bizarre the writing was.

Just because you slap together some dirty words does not mean it’s sexy.

Now don’t get me wrong I couldn’t stop reading due to the absurdity of everything that was happening and how quickly. This was just not good.

Building up to things isn’t a necessarily a bad thing. But also understanding that things need to MAKE SENSE is important as well.

Actual Rating: 2.5/5.

After stepping into a bar in Edinburgh, Georgia's eyes meet those of three breathtakingly gorgeous brothers. Knox, intense, possessive, and loyal. Charming Finn buries the past under a fast, devastating smile and a laugh like sunshine on a cloudy day and strong, silent Lachlan’s the loaner using his long quiet stares to bring girls to their knees. Together, the three scorching Scottish brothers embark on a passionate journey to claim Georgia as their own. Bound by desire and an unbreakable bond, they’ll stop at nothing to make me theirs.

Making Her Theirs is a very light plot, high intensity read. I walked into this one not expecting a brilliant read, but ended up enjoying it for what it was. If you're after something with a little more depth and connection, skip this one and check out some more contemporary romances. But, if you're after something very quick with lots of spice, this one is for you.

Thank you to NetGalley, Innes Field LLC and Lily Manning for an advanced copy for review. This one releases 23rd August, 2023.

Was one of my favourite novellas. Very well written, in a way that gets you really immersed in the story line. I love how I’m such a short book you really seem to get to know the characters.

YES!!!

I love this book. YC/RH is one of my favorite types of books and this is one of my favorite ever!

After being on a dark romance kick a loving and respectful relationship is such a good change. All the characters are lovable and different. I was laughing, I was feeling empathy, I was feeling the spice and I was cheering for them all! I really love that there wasn’t a big 11th hour drama!

This book is going to blow up on tiktok in the spicy feeds so glad I got to be early to the party!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and the author for sending me an early copy of this book!

Now this was a super short read with it being under 200 pages, which did make the story feel a lot less romance driven compared to an actual plot. I would have been okay with another 300 pages if it meant we would get more out of the dynamics and the relationship to be more fleshed out. On the other hand, this book was a good form of escape with spicyyy moments. Overall, I enjoyed it; I just wish there was more of a story line with more resolution.

Is there anything dreamier than an all expense paid work trip to Scotland to secure the next step in your career? Yes, three drop dead gorgeous Scott brothers hell bent on making you theirs.

Heavy on the smut, perfect palette cleanser if you’re in between series or just need a feel good story.

This is a reverse harem romance (? Erotica?) with lots of smut and spice and little plot.
FMC Georgia has flown from Texas to Scotland for a 10-day assignment, before she can fly back home to the promotion she’s always dreamed about. Too bad she’s about to fall into the (very capable) hands of brothers Knox, Finn and Lachlan and discover a whole new world…

I would have given 5 stars for the smut only, but the story and characters are nothing unseen - in fact, it’s all rather foreseeable and I couldn’t help but skim the parts that were dragging for me. Recommended to those who want a very quick and explicit read.

f you’re looking for a quick read with a ton of smut and very little plot? This is your next read. There is instant attraction between the characters and the action starts immediately at the very beginning. Do I wish there was more of storyline? Sure, but Knox, Finn and Lachlan definitely make up for it.

Georgia Henry is on a 10 day work assignment in Edinburgh, Scotland when she find three drop dead gorgeous brothers. Her first night in the new city has led her to a bar where she finds the brothers with her only intent of having fun while in town. When hearts start to get attached what will Georgia do? The brothers own that bar and have sworn off love, so when they see her from the first time, they also just wanted some fun. But can they deny Georgia’s effects she has on them?

Georgia, a math lover has been told she’s not enough despite being tall, beautiful, and smart. Can she find what her heart and body has always desired in these men?

Knox, the eldest brother, is the serious one. He keeps the family together and safe and never lets his guard down. Can he learn to let go and trust his heart to let love in?

Finn, the middle brother, is happy go lucky and always up for a good time with the ladies. He’s always the brother that cheers everyone up on cloudy days, but can he settle down enough to see what’s in front of him in time?

Lachlan, the youngest brother, is the silent busy body who always does good for everyone else. He hides his sweet and sensitive side behind busy tasks. Can he let go of the built-up tension and ask for what he wants?

Will all the characters heal their hearts in order to be together?

Making Her Theirs by Lily Manning is devastatingly perfect. I love the insecurities and relatable trauma all the characters have. The book is sweet and sexy. All I wanted to do is jump into the book and live in it forever. I guess now I must book a ticket to Scotland to find my own Knox, Finn, and Lachlan.

Lachlan stole my heart away and had an immediate connection to, he's now on my book boyfriend list. I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars. I will be reading her other work. The only thing I didn’t like is that I wanted it to be longer because I didn’t want it to end.

Tropes:
Reverse Harem romance
Scottish MMCs
Nerdy FMC
Forced proximity
Multiple POV

I knew going into this that it was a reverse harem and that the biggest draw to me was going to be that the MMCs were Scottish. It should have been a quick read, but I found myself dragging through and skimming a lot. It's very cliché with little to no plot and no character development. Despite that, there were a few moments that I liked. I liked that Georgia was a math nerd and smart. I also liked that each brother had their own personality. Knox was the dominant one, Finn was the easygoing one, and Lachlan was the tender hearted one. However, the repetitive internal dialogue made the whole book really cheesy and predictable. I don't usually rate so low, but the flaws were too great to overlook. I just think that this book could be a whole lot better if it was longer so that it could develop better. Even the spicy scenes lacked in development... even though there were several full scenes, they felt rushed.

Overall, I don't think I could recommend this book to a lot of people. Looking at it as a whole, it's more of an erotica book than a romance novel. So if that's what you like then you'll enjoy this one.

A delicious reverse hearing with three stunning men! Enough said! I want more! Georgia is a beautiful woman with long legs and long, dark hair, and she meets three stunning brothers that want to dominate her, make her laugh, and worship her!

Fun and light read. Although will say that it could've been stretched out as it was very fast paced. Overall, if you just want to read something fast that never has you bored. This is a great book to read!

Thank you Netgalley & Innes Field LLC for the ARC! let me first off state that i think with some tweaks to the story i would definitely re-read this and probably give it a 4 or 5 star review! but there's several critiques and major plot points that i think need changed. also this is set to be a series, but this was only 157 pages and was such a quick read it is definitely more of a novella and not marketed that way. maybe she's going to add a lot more to this story and lengthen it but right now it was waaay too short. she is supposedly falling in love with three very different men all in the span of 1o days? they all tell her they love her on day 5. WHAT. the conversations between her and all of them are really good, but way too short. there is so much trauma and hard topics discussed but it's only a few sentences. this story should have been set over a long stretch of time like 6 months of training for a new job or something. and each chapter should've been a way deeper dive into the relationships and conversations that they were having. [ especially if it was supposed to be a reverse harem why choose romance. also the accidental pregnancy trope while on BC is not my jam but that everyone is so happy after. i do not like that one bit.

1. the story is set over a quick 10 day business trip where she meets the three sexy brothers night one. after meeting the first two guys she has sex with them after a 5 min conversation??
2. the reverse harem scenes in this are *HOT* but also not logical. like other reviews here on goodreads, there is NO way she wasn't getting all sorts of infections or UTI's from the type of intercourse she was having. with no protection and then swapping people in different ahem "areas" respectively during one scene numerous times. none of that is logical or would happen.
3. the verbiage in so many scenes were cringey, and not in a cute way. 52% the way through: "...I laugh, "schlong?"
"yeah you know, my 'silent flute', 'philly cheesesteak', 'the pleasure pump'"
4. on day 3 with one of the brothers he is promising to go visit her over in the US and will move mountains and fly her back any time she wants. he is obsessed with her and already having inner dialogue with himself saying he's in love with her. SIR YOU'VE KNOWN HER THREE DAYS
5. one of the brothers buys her LV heels just because he was watching her and saw her glance at them in a window walking. creepy..and also unrealistic for what the brothers do for work. how are you affording that??
6. she openly gets married to all three at the end after 6 months and her parents are okay with it?? and she ends up pregnant and isn't telling them until after.. WHAT. and the ending is her being shocked that they all knew before she told them. "we noticed the swell of your breasts getting larger. don't think we aren't rapt over you and notice these things"

Wow!! This book was a shockingly pleasant surprise read! Georgia, Finn, Lachlan and Knox light up the pages. I'm not usually a fan of harem style books but this had a cute story along with a spice level of 10x! Georgia is a genius accountant working in Scotland who decides to drop into this pub owned by three brothers. She immediately connect with them and the story unfolds from there. This was my first read by this author and I would definitely recommend her books to my book club.

**Thanks NetGalley and Lily Manning for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. **

I thought the story was great, but the entire thing felt rushed. I loved the characters, but I wish we would have seen more from them. The writing was ok, but there were quite a few grammatical errors and language that could have been used better. I feel like this could have been a full-length novel if it wasn’t so rushed. I enjoyed the story overall.

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Innes Field LLC for allowing me to read Lily Manning's "Making Her Theirs" in advance!
