Thank you HARLEQUIN - Romance (U.S. & Canada), Love Inspired for allowing me to read an ARC of The Teacher's Christmas Secret by Emma Miller. This is book 3 in The Seven Amish Sisters Series. It is due to be released onSeptember
This is a wonder story of patience, forgiveness, and second chances. Sometimes God’s timing is not our timing.
Cora Koffman and Tobit Lapp have the love for teaching in common, but this is also their source of conflict. I loved the characters and how real they seem.
This story is well developed and you hang on every word. It moves smoothly from one event to the next.
There are several surprises in this story and keeps you on your toes.
I gladly give this book a 5-star rating. All reviews are my own and I was not required to give a positive review.
Secrets
I really enjoyed watching Cora and Tobit move forward from their strained beginnings to a blossoming relationship. However, secrets are usually not a good thing, and in Tobit's case, his definitely was not. While the story really drove home the far reaching repercussions of secrets, it also drove home the far reaching blessings of love, forgiveness and second chances making it a lovely story that is well worth the read.
Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin for providing me with an advanced copy of this book. All comments and opinions are voluntary and completely my own. (TBR 09/26/23)

Thank you to HARLEQUIN for an arc in exchange for an honest review!
I received a free copy of, The Teacher's Christmas Secret, by Emma Miller, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is book 3 in The Seven Amish Sisters Series. Cora Koffman is not happy that she has to help widowed teacher Tobit Lapp, after he took the job that should of been hers, but he is injured. Cora has a lot to learn about teaching and love, will Tobit help her? Such a nice clean Amish romance to read, very enjoyable characters and story line.
Widowed schoolteacher Tobit Lapp keeps to himself. But when he is injured and can't teach Cora Hoffman takes his place. The more they are around each other the more they are attracted to each other. But Tobit has a secret that could ruin everything. Good story.
As this story begins Cora is upset with the new teacher, she wanted the job, but her district gave the job to Tobit, and now her new nephew says he is picking on him. Well, what I didn't see coming was her agreeing to teach for him, while he is laid up, with everything upon his approval.
What you really don't see coming is sparks between these two, but of course, things can't run smoothly, and there seems to be some heart break coming here. There are some long held secrets and lies, but can there be forgiveness.
You are on a journey for answers, but they might not be what you expect.
I am excited that there will be another book coming, Henry's story!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Harlequin, and was not required to give a positive review.
