This was such a fun and quick read for me. Normally covers like this deter me but I am happy I just did it. Sometimes you just need to jump out of your comfort zone to read something different and I am so happy I did! This is totally different from anything I have been reading lately but it was adorable and funny and I really needed that in my life right now!
Okay, this book was cute! The ferrets stealing Rake’s and Josie’s belongings, the stealing yoga clients, and the key lime pie to the face… this book was just a classic good read. It was fast paced and sucked you right in.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for granting me free access to the advanced digital copy of this book.
This was a great book and I'll be purchasing it for the library.
This was a good one with a few slower parts but nothing that drug the book down. I liked it overall.
The novel invites us to journey alongside Josie as she navigates self-discovery and personal growth. Yoga One For Me by Eden Bloom is the first book in the Misty Falls series and introduces readers to a delightful blend of romance, comedy, and self-discovery. This is an invigorating romantic comedy set in the charming town of Misty Falls, where life takes unexpected turns.
Meet Josie. She is reeling from her boyfriend's proposal, and finally realizes she needs a fresh start. Armed with her yoga mat, she hits the road and convinces her best friend to swap places. Misty Falls becomes her refuge, the place to rethink her life choices. Fate has other plans but having just fled one, Josie isn't looking for a relationship. Meet Rake. He is determined to stay focused on his lifelong dream and cannot afford distractions. Then there’s this girl with tornado-like energy, who starts becoming impossible to ignore.
I found Bloom's writing to be fast-paced, drawing me into the quirky world of Misty Falls. I’m a speed reader so this also boded well for me. The small-town charm has my heart, the stealing yoga clients is reminiscent of old times, and the magnetic chemistry between Josie and Rake make this romcom a classic good read.
This is a heartwarming tale that can also be read as a standalone. Whatever way you read it, the story will leave you smiling. Trust me. Once you step foot in Misty Falls, you won't want to leave.
Thank you to NetGalley and author Eden Bloom for a temporary e-ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Yoga One for Me is a cute little romcom between two very nice characters however it was not my favorite. I think everyone comes across as so immature. The bit with the coworker was just high school even though the characters are either in their late 20's/early 30's and it felt like they didnt really connect all the dots and resolve the issues. It was a nice ending and all, but it just did not fully resonate with me. But I do think its a good into book to a larger series and I would read more.
Josie and Rake meet when they are sharing a house they both expected to be empty. Neither is looking to meet someone but will it happen for them anyway? Looking forward to the next books in this series.
I really liked this book, it was different than anything else I've read which was a breath of fresh air. I will be recommending this to my friends, and auto buy this author!
This was cringy and a too sappy love story for me. Thank you for the arc! I just didn’t find the story interesting
Yoga One for Me follows Josie and Rake. Josie is a people pleaser that wasn’t able to break up with her ex and Rake is really lonely divorced guy.
They find themselves in the same house for the summer.
It was a funny, soft, easy read, and I really liked!
Thank you, NetGalley, for the opportunity to read this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Yoga One for Me follows Josie and Rake, two people fumbling through life who desperately need each other.
Josie is a people pleaser. She's stayed with the same man for 10 years because it was easier than breaking up with him.
Rake is trying to get his breakout role on a popular sitcom. He's divorced and lonely whether he wants to admit it or not.
These two find themselves in the same house for the summer, and they bumble their way from enemies, to friends, to a pair who were always meant to be.
There were a few laugh-out-loud moments in this book, and several steamy moments even though it's closed door. It was a quick, easy read that's perfect for a snuggly night with a cup of tea. I give it 3.5 stars and look forward to reading more from this author!

A romcom book? It’s pretty much a guarantee that I’ll love this book.
This is one of the books I was the most excited for! I was so happy when I saw I had been approved for an ARC. The whole premise and blurb made me excited to read this.
I loved the book! I had high hopes for it, and I wasn’t disappointed. Do yourself a favor and give this book a shot!
This was a sweet, quick and easy read. I found Josie a relatable character and my heart was aching how dismissed she was by her family and how they wanted to control her. I was proud of her when she finally stood up for herself. She and Rake were perfect together, I loved how Rake supported her. I liked the side characters, too (except for Samantha and Josie’s ex) and the ferrets were the cutest.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me a copy of the book.
This read blew me away! Once you start, you won't stop. It is as captivating as it is seductive and exciting!! Bloom, just gained a new biggest fan!
This book was soooo adorable!!!
If I could give it more than 5 stars I would, it keep me sooo entertained and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. So many fun and crazy moments.
I loved the ferrets, best thing ever to add to this book oh and the key lime pie, that was fun also.
Josie and Rake were the main characters and their relationship didn't really start out as much but friends and then it slowly evolved into a romantic relationship. It was a fun adventure seeing all that happened to them. The background characters were great also, added so much to this book and their lives in this story.
It was an easy read, but a fast one. Kept me held.
It was more about just finding love it was also about self-discovery.
Everything you look for in a rom-com, in my opinion. Great read and I highly recommend it.
I am so happy that I was able to read this book as an ARC, thanks to the publisher and NetGalley. The above is my opinions/review, it is honest and voluntary.
This was cute. I think that the break up was kind of dumb and they should have just communicated better. They were good when they were actually together.
I received an arc through netgalley.
First thought: This was a very cute read. It was about finding oneself despite the path your parents may want and standing up for yourself. If you want fun fasted paced closed door romance this is for you just make sure you snag some key lime pie to snack on before you start.
The last ten years Josie has let her parents and boyfriend control her life, afraid to stand up for herself. But then he proposed and she had to escape her life and figure out what she wanted.
Lucky for her, Rain her best friend was happy to life swap her for the summer. That’s how she ended up in Misty Falls. Little did she know the house she thought she had to herself for the summer was not empty when she walked right into Rake with a plate full of food.
Rake is up for a part in a tv show that could change the course of his career, he came back home to focus on learning the script and find his inspiration. The last thing he expected was an adorable blonde in his house and his heart to start up again but he doesn’t need the distraction. He learned by his failed marriage love and acting don’t mix.
Josie and Rake are initially not happy about this situation they both wanted time alone but soon discover they aren’t alone in the house. A pair of loose ferrets have them teaming up and soon they discover they are better on the same team than apart. But a lot is riding on this summer and neither has time for a relationship but it is a small town and there are only so many places to go.
Tropes you’ll find:
* Forced Proximity
* Best Friend’s Brother
* House / Life Swap
* Small Town
* Celebrity
* Finding Yourself
* Closed Door

I have mixed thoughts about this book. I thought I was going to love it at first, the fact that they had to share a house, and they didn't really like each other at first had me sold. And I would have loved it if this plot had lasted longer than it did.
I think the characters were great, but sometimes felt a little bit all over the place. I truly enjoyed all the characters, but I didn't see a clear character arc for both of the MC, especially Josie. And let's not talk about Samantha, a nearly 30-year-old bully.
Besides this, I felt like it was a cute story, I love the best friends brother trope, but I feel like sometimes some things were missing to make me love this story a little bit more. Like, for example, how easy the problems are resolved at times when it involves Josie's parents and ex. Rake was awesome, and I could understand his pov a lot more, and I wish we had seen more of his dynamic with Drew, especially after some of the things that happen (I don't want to spoil).
Overall I think it's a cute book but that sometimes felt like the story was moving too fast, when the characters needed some time to settle.
Cute easy read, but ultimately did not enjoy it due to the characters who struck me as really immature.s
thank you to netgalley for the advanced reading copy. I really enjoyed this and will be getting copies for my shop.
