Love Tara Sue Me books. Can.be read as a stand alone but advised to read the first book since you will be missing some information. An action filled story. Knox and Bea have such great chemistry. He tries to protect her as much as he can. He would crumble at the sight of her, never wanting to let her go. Bea starts her fight to heal her trauma and charge against those who have hurt her. Bea was beaten and warned that she had to stay away from Knox. I loved the secret marriage aspect as well as all the suspense that happens throughout. Thanks Netgalley and the publisher for the advance ecopy.

I’m going to have to use this review for all the books in this series as I read them one after the other and can no longer remember what happened in which book!
I was kindly sent book 2 and 3 for a review so I bought book 1 to make sure I got the full story … and boy am I glad I did!
The books kept me gripped throughout and when the Kings pages came up you KNEW something was going down! I loved how each of the brothers had their own personality and met someone to compliment them.
I really enjoyed this series and would love to read more by the author.

Loved this suspenseful continuation of the Benedict brothers story. Bea and Knox bring tons of heart and drama to this fast paced romance. Can’t wait for the conclusion in the next book.

Tara Sue Me’s Seductive Lies is a sizzling blend of romance, suspense, and family intrigue, making it an addictive addition to the Benedict brothers’ saga. With a captivating mix of steamy passion and dark secrets, this reimagined story takes readers deeper into the world of the powerful yet troubled Benedict family.

Set against the evocative backdrop of Charleston’s low country, Seductive Lies follows Bea Jacobs, a resourceful and determined woman, as she becomes entangled in the shadows of the Benedict empire. Bea is thrust into danger when her investigation into old business files uncovers long-buried secrets, and her growing connection with Knox Benedict only complicates matters. Knox, the quintessential Southern gentleman and reformed playboy, is fiercely protective of Bea, but his own secrets and vulnerabilities threaten to undermine their relationship.

The romance between Bea and Knox is both intense and heartfelt, balancing fiery chemistry with moments of emotional depth. Their journey from estranged lovers to a couple united against external threats is compelling, with just the right mix of tension, mistrust, and eventual reconciliation. Tara Sue Me crafts their dynamic with care, ensuring their love feels earned amidst the chaos surrounding them.

Where the novel truly shines, however, is in its intricate web of suspense. Secrets and betrayals unravel with masterful pacing, keeping readers on edge as they piece together the mystery. The stakes are high, with a constant undercurrent of danger that adds a layer of urgency to both the romance and the overarching plot. From cryptic letters to the reappearance of a mysterious figure, every twist deepens the intrigue while pushing Bea and Knox closer together.

Though the book can be read as a standalone, it benefits from the broader context of the series. Fans of the first installment will appreciate the continued unraveling of the Benedict family’s dark legacy, while new readers may find themselves eager to dive into the other brothers’ stories.

I am a total sucker for secret marriage billionaire trope and this one was no exception! While the cover is what drew me in this whole book held me captive. The authors name gave me a good laugh. But will be back for more of her writing!

I wish I could have read this book without needing to read the previous books in the series. When I started I was a bit lost and confused as I did not read the previous books in this series.

The story between Bea and Knox was well written and a good story. However, I could not get into the story as I felt that I was missing context.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Bea and Knox. There is an instant attraction. They meet and got married after dating for a couple of months. They didn’t tell any family, they kept it a secret. Bea landed up in the hospital. Someone threatened her and stated she needed to not see Knox anymore. She had a panic attack and Knox found out about, stated to Bea he wasn’t going to let her go. They found more clues till one day someone kidnapped Bea. Knox came to rescue.

SEDUCTIVE LIES is the second instalment in Tara Sue Me’s contemporary, adult THE BENEDICT BROTHERS erotic, romantic suspense series focusing on the Benedict Brothers: Keaton, Knox and Kipling. This is Knox Benedict, and twenty-nine year old attorney Bea Jacobs’ story line. SEDUCTIVE LIES can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order as there is an ongoing premise throughout.

NOTE: SEDUCTIVE LIES is the re-release and re-written DEADLY SECRET written as Tara Thomas.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Bea and Knox), and first person Jade Mann, SEDUCTIVE LIES continues to follow in the aftermath of the attacks against Tilly Brock (Perilous Kiss), and our story line heroine. Someone is taking aim at the Benedict family, and the women they love are caught in the crossfire. Bea has been attacked, threatened and loved one gone missing, but her relationship with Knox may be the precipitating factor. Loving Knox Benedict means walking away when the threats become personal, and Bea refuses to place Knox in the direct line of fire. As the family continues to search for information about the past, someone else is taking aim at our story line couple. Meanwhile, the young homeless woman known as Jade, continues to find herself in a perilous situation. Somehow connected to the Benedict family, Jade will come in and out of their lives until the day new information comes to light, revealing the truth.

The world building continues to focus on the Benedict family, the death of their parents, and the connections to Tilly Brock and the man who has been blamed for destroying their lives. Bea Jacobs has fallen in love with Knox Benedict but her love may be what destroys them all.

The relationship between Bea and Knox is one of secrets. The family is more or less unaware of Bea and Knox’s relationship, a relationship that is much more than what is appears on the surface. Bea struggles to keep her distance but separation and love threaten them both. The $ex scenes are intimate without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

The secondary and supporting characters include Knox’s brothers Keaton and Tilly (Perilous Kiss), Kipling; housekeeper Maggie, security Tom, as well as a Bea’s client Jade Mann.

SEDUCTIVE LIES is a story of power and control, betrayal and vengeance, secrets and lies, family and friendships, relationships and love. The premise is intriguing and captivating; the romance is seductive ; the characters are dynamic and desperate. SEDUCTIVE LIES ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

I thought that this was a really good story and it was a thoroughly enjoyable read

The plot was well developed and it was romantic and sexy.

It was well written with a great pace to keep you engaged with the story, there were a few areas where it was a little disjointed in places but that didn’t spoil the book.

It is 4 stars from me for this one, highly recommended but it does leave you wanting book 3!

Seductive Lies is the second book in The Benedict Brothers trilogy by Tara Sue Me. This is the a book formerly published as Deadly Secrets. This book is about Knox and Bea. Bea was beaten and warned that she had to stay away from Knox if she wanted him to stay safe, but she won't tell why. Knox is determined to find out. Knox and Bea also had secret from everyone else. They had been investigating information on Mr. Brock's alleged embezzlement. The book was a great continuation from the first book in the series. In addition to their own relationship, Bea and Knox worked with the rest of the Benedicts on the questions surrounding Tilly's father and the other strange information that they discovered. As they get closer, it gets more dangerous,. I really enjoyed this secret relationship romantic suspense novel. It was witty and fun and full of action. The chemistry between the couple was super hot and the emotion bled through. I would definitely recommend it for lovers of romantic suspense such as Rebecca Zanetti or Linda Howard. I am voluntarily submitting this honest review after reading an advanced complementary copy of this book thanks to Netgalley and Booksgosocial.

Knox Benedict asked Bea Jacobs to look into old files but she didn't think there was anything till someone warned her to stay away from the Benedicts after nearly beating her to death. She continues digging but her first priority is keeping the love of her life safe by staying away from him.

This book had it all. Emotion, mystery and betrayal. Well written and kept me reading until I finished. Knox and Bea are a fantastic couple, and the brothers are awesome.

This is the second novel in Tara Sue Me’s Benedict Brothers Series. It can be read as either a standalone novel or as part of the series of three. If you read all three though to the end you get to read about a larger intriguing being solved.
This book covers all genres, romance, mystery, suspense and of course lots of steamy sex.
Set in Charleston, North Carolina, this novel focuses upon the eldest brother, Knox, who hires Bea Jacobs, a lawyer (who is also his secretly estranged wife) to investigate some old business files.
Bea has recently been attacked by an unknown assailant and is suffering from PTSD which is why she separated from Knox. He is devastated and continues to watch over and protect her as her stalker has returned.
Written from both the MCs point of view I didn’t enjoy this as much as I thought I would. Although it s stated that it can be read as a standalone novel, her assailant doesn’t get identified in this one and they get married in the first. The novels are too interlinked to be read separately. Maybe if they were published as a trilogy it would work better. It is a well written book. Just not my favourite.

This was the first book I read from the series (although its the second book) and I am a huge huge romantic suspense fan when it’s written well. This book was well laid out though I did feel I missed a little of the back story since I skipped book one. The romance aspect was very good, spice was also good. The suspense was well thought out and portrayed. I would definitely read more books from this author!

This next instalment of the The Benedict Brothers series was just as good (if not better) as the first. These brothers just pull you in so much! With the way the author delivers information to the reader is causes the reader to find out things before the characters do. the anticipation for when the characters find out and how they will react is palpable. I also like that while each book focuses on an individual brother, you still see some of the build up of the other relationships. The amount of slow burn for the oldest brother and the cop is intense! If they don't even explore any type of relationship together, I might just cry.

This book was hot and steamy. One of the best books I have read so far. Definitely a 5 star must read. Love the characters.

I loved this. And I loved that each book can be read alone but there is a bigger mystery and you won't find out until the last book! That's genius! I was totally absorbed in this and I cannot wait for book three.
I just reviewed Seductive Lies by Tara Sue Me. #SeductiveLies #NetGalley
