I did enjoy this book and read it in one day! I would definitely recommend this book. This one held my attention and I wanted to finish it, unlike some of her other books.
It happened. A Danielle Steel novel that I didn't enjoy - I mean, it was bound to happen - I tend to read EVERYTHING she writes so there would have to be one that didn't do it for me. First of all - while this one absolutely follows the formula, Abandonment by a parent - the other parent cold and unloving - inheriting a mansion and a title from a distant relative that you've never met. Jeez - oh - and then you fall so in love with someone in THREE DAYS that you are DECIMATED to find out that he's married (all be it in name only lol). This one was too far fetched even for me and I jones for stories like this. But this one, did NOT leave me full of happiness - more like - did I just trade hours of my life for this book??? Thanks to Netgalley, Danielle Steel and Macmillan for an ARC of Happiness in exchange for an honest review. This one just wasn't it for me :(

I loved this book! It was so interesting and showed how the power of love can overcome truly heart wrenching situations. I love how connected I felt to the characters and am so happy I had the opportunity to review this wonderful book!
I was thankful to have the opportunity to read this ARC on NetGalley! Sabrina's story was fun to follow, and Grayson is an interesting addition. This was a quick book to read and I did not want to put it down.
I found this to be a cute, quick read. Sabrina inherits a manor and a bunch of land in London from an uncle she never knew. She doesn’t want to have to deal with any of it, and just wants to sell it. But when she actually travels to the property and sees things, her mind begins to change. Meeting Grayson certainly helps influence her decision.
This book was predictable, but I guess that’s what I expected from it. A lot of mixed reviews out there, but I wasn’t looking for something kind of earth shattering, deep story, so this one worked for me.
Thank you NetGalley and Randhom House - Ballantine for my ARC of this book.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an advance copy of Happiness by Danielle Steel in exchange for my honest review and opinion. Danielle Steel has been and always will be one of my all time favorite authors and I think I've read every book she's written and love them all. This book is utterly fantastic and will have you racing through the pages to the end. She has a way of making you feel for her characters in the story and you are gutted when things don't go well for them but cheering for them when things go right. If you love Danielle Steel than you need to read this right away.
This is a good book. The two main characters are Sabrina and Gray. They meet when Sabrina’s uncle dies and leaves her land and a house in England. Gray’s was her uncle’s attorney. There is an instant attraction. Sabrina comes to England and the attraction gets stronger. Gray asks her to dinner. She has to go to Her agent in England house for a party one night. Gray gets invited too but neither one knows that they both are going. When Gray gets there his wife is there too. It gets really messy. It takes awhile but Gray gets a divorce and declares his love for Sabrina.
Sabrina is a best selling author that finds out she is sole heir to an English castle. She flies to England with every intention to sell as soon as possible. Sabrina is met by Grayson who is assigned to help her deal with the estate. She soon discovers that she likes the castle and living in England. She soon gains confidence and puts the abusive ex husband and father behind her. I am a Danielle Steel fan but sometimes her books are hit or miss. This one is definitely a hit winner.
Happiness" is a novel by Danielle Steel. It tells the story of a woman named Diana, who seems to have it all - a successful career, a loving husband, and a beautiful home. However, when tragedy strikes and Diana's world is turned upside down, she must navigate the challenges of loss, grief, and rebuilding her life. With its themes of resilience, friendship, and the pursuit of happiness, "Happiness" is a poignant and uplifting read that reminds readers of the importance of finding joy even in the darkest of times.
A sweet story of redemption and finding love where you least expect it. I love everything Danielle Steel writes and as usual, Happiness was no exception!
Another Danielle Steel win! Storyline is new and refreshing. Writing flows along nicely to keep the pages turning. Descriptions are clear and concise without going overboard and dragging chapters on and on. Enjoyed this one and highly recommend!
Thank you Net Galley and the publisher for my ARC copy of this book!
Danielle is my go-to author for a weekend escape-from-home, and Happiness definitely fit the bill! An exotic but peaceful setting no matter where author Sabrina Brooks chooses to settle... will she find romance and fall in love too? Verdict = made me smile and sigh a little. Thanks to #NetGalley for the opportunity to preview #Happiness by Danielle Steel - as always, I am already looking forward to her next release!
While this is a quick read there is a lot of repetitive description and character explanations. I kept waiting for her second husband to make an appearance. The ending was very abrupt and left me wanting things with Caleb to work out instead. Not my favorite book by Steel. 2.5 stars
This story follows Sabrina, a successful author who lives a pretty solitary life. Life has been hard for Sabrina but she is making the most of it now. However, when a long-lost uncle informs her that she has inherited a Manor in England, Sabrina has every intentional of selling it. That is until she realizes it might unlock some of the painful memories from her past.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This was my first Danielle Steele book and I absolutely loved it! This definitely won’t be my last book to read from her.
Thank you netgalley and publishers for allowing me to read this book. #Happiness #NetGalley
Sabrina Brooks is a successful author who lives alone with her two dogs. She writes thrillers but lives a solitary lifestyle. Her present maybe calm, but past is riddled with painful memories. An unlucky childhood and a bad marriage. Her calm life is disrupted when she receives a letter from a long-lost uncle. She inherited a Manor in England. She decides to go and sell it as soon as she can. She meets with a lawyer and discovers some family secrets along the way. Maybe she can discover why her father was so distant to her. A wonderfully written story, beautiful characters and an emotionally filled plot. I enjoyed this book immensely.
Disclaimer: Thank you NetGalley and Random House for this review copy and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
A fabulous “feel good” novel.. It was a quick, light, read and i got totally lost in it.
Many thanks to Random House and to Netgalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.
The main character in this story is a young woman who has been in many bad relationships with family and the men in her life. She is finally content and happy to live alone with her dogs. She then finds out that she is heir to a house in another country. When she goes to see the house, she meets a man who could finally be the one. Is it worth it to take a risk and open her heart again? Will she find true happiness? This was another good and easy read by Danielle Steel.
DANIELLE STEEL LIKES TO SHRED MY HEART TO PIECES!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU TO NETGALLEY AND RANDOM HOUSE PUBLISHING GROUP, BALLANTINE FOR AN ARC OF THIS BOOK IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW!!!!!!!
Danielle Steel has once again created a fascinating read for romance lovers. Following Sabrina, a best-selling thriller author with an unfortunate personal history of failed romances and troubled relationships with her parents, readers embark on a cross-Atlantic journey as Sabrina discovers that her paternal uncle has recently died, leaving her an English estate and a title. The family lawyer, Grayson Abbott, who helps Sabrina explore her new estate and make her decision about the property, is also interesting and interested in Sabrina, but things are more complicated than Sabrina realizes. Steel’s characters and the budding romance between Grayson and Sabrina are, of course, the star of the novel, but readers will also receive some surprisingly wonderful side characters and platonic friendships that add to the layers of this novel. Fans of Danielle Steel will enjoy the drama of this novel, helped along by the characters and the added twists found in this latest Danielle Steel novel. This novel lives up to the standards that Steel has set for herself and for the genre, and readers will have some idea of what to expect as this novel progresses yet Happiness is still an enjoyable and easy read.
