Devils of Sun Valley High is the perfect storm of bad boys, burning passion, and bully romance that’ll have you hooked from the very first page. Imagine walking into a school where the Devils run the show—wicked, savage, and cruel. Roman, Emilio, and Dominique don’t just rule the halls, they own them, and if you’re unlucky enough to get in their way... well, good luck. 😈📚
This boxset brings you three full-length, heart-pounding stories that feature sizzling enemies-to-lovers tension, sports romance vibes, and plenty of steam. The Devils may be ruthless, but the women who capture their hearts—Allie, Bibiana, and Kasey—are no damsels in distress. These ladies tame the beasts, turning these alpha males into protectors with hearts as fierce as their tempers. Each couple's journey is a rollercoaster of angst, spice, and emotional gut punches. 🔥
“Roman may have started off making Allie’s life miserable, but their chemistry? It’s explosive—angst, heat, and steam, all wrapped up in one fiery package.”
Whether it’s Roman’s cocky, player persona getting turned upside down by Allie, or Emilio stepping up to the plate after a one-night stand leads to more than either he or Bibiana expected, these stories are packed with emotional depth. And don’t even get me started on Dominique and Kasey—their love-hate dynamic is off the charts. The tension is thick, the passion is raw, and their story is just getting started, leaving you hungry for more.
The diversity and cultural depth throughout these books give each character extra layers of complexity, making them not just engaging but relatable on a whole new level. Add in some epic banter, a bit of sports action, and steamy encounters that will make your heart race, and you've got a binge-worthy collection that you won’t want to put down.
If you love bad boy romances with plenty of edge, unrelenting passion, and just the right touch of redemption, Wicked Savage Cruel is calling your name. It’s intense, emotional, and oh-so-satisfying. 😍
Daniela Romero's Wicked Savage Cruel is a mesmerizing box set that delves into a wickedly dark world through interconnected stories and bonus scenes. Each book features a unique couple, yet all are intricately linked, offering a comprehensive understanding of the entire ensemble.
The set includes:
Wicked (Book 1)
Savage (Book 2)
Cruel (Book 3)
Romero's masterful storytelling pulls readers in, making them yearn for the intense and complex dynamics of each character. Her writing style is captivating, expertly balancing the dark and alluring elements of the narrative. Every book stands on its own, but together, they create a rich tapestry of compelling relationships and suspenseful twists.
While it was all well written and I will be recommending it to anyone who loves this type of book it just wasn't for me. I struggle to read teen romance which is exactly what this is. This is one time my judging a book by it's cover failed me. It wasn't bad but I was expecting adult relationships. I know had this come out in 2011 when I was a teen I would have absolutely devoured this book series.
Wicked Savage Cruel is a boxed set of the first three books in the Boys of Sun Valley High series. The books follow three separate couples, but the male main characters are best friends and the stars of their high school football team.
In Wicked Devil, Allie is the new girl at the school and Roman, pretty much the most popular guy at the school star of the football team is tasked with showing her around the school when he gets in trouble at school yet again. He starts off making her life miserable, but he is also attracted to her, which causes a lot of mixed signals in the course of getting to know each other.
Allie went through a very traumatic experience adding to the difficult treatment she was already enduring at school. I think the author did a good job with such a sensitve and important topic.
I enjoyed the friendship the guys have with each other and the comraderie they share and their banter. Overall it was an engaging and interesting read, though difficult at times do to Allie's experience.
Savage Devil is book two in the series and is a one night stand romance, where I felt like both main characters fell for each other pretty quickly. Emilio and Bibiana meet at a party and have a steamy night of fun where no personal information about themselves is exchanged. Much later, Bibiana shows up at the same school Emilio attends and she has a surprise for Emilio.
I really enjoyed how Emilio stepped up to the plate and pushed to be in Luis's life. I think both did such an amazing job at taking care of him. I love how all of the friends stepped up to take care of Luis when needed. That is one loved little boy. While I enjoyed reading about the growth of Emilio and Bibiana's relationship, this book was all about family and friendship for me.
Cruel Devil is the third book in the series and focuses on the long-awaited story of Dom, the QB, and his friend's little sister Kasey. They met when Kasey was a freshman and now Dom is in college and Kasey is moving into the same college as a seventeen year old. They have always had an antagonistic relationship where they each live to irritate the other, but beneath that is an attraction to the other that each feels but neither will show, or act on.
This story was very angsty and emotional and does end unfinished. It seems as though their story continues in the next book, Cruel Promise, and I am definitely intrigued to see where things ae going to go for these two.
Overall this boxed set has been highly enjoyable. These stories have hooked me and kept me invested and I would definitely recommend these stories. I look forward to reading the remaining books in the series.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.
Wicked Savage Cruel is the box set of the three books in the Devils of Sun Valley series.
Wicked Devil is the first book in the Devils of Sun Valley High series. This book is told from dual points of view from Roman and Alejandra (Allie). This book is dark and has a trigger warning, so readers should be warned.
Savage Devil is the second book in the Devils of Sun Valley High series. This book features Bibiana and Emilio. This book is told from dual points of view.
Cruel Devil is the third book in the Devils of Sun Valley High series. This book is told from dual perspectives of Kasey and Dominique.
I loved all three of these books, and every moment of them. This is one of my favorite series.
Totally loved this book.. it had drama, forbidden romances, funny parts, and a whole lotta steamy hot scenes....would totally recommend it
READING PROGRESS
Daniela knows how to write a hot boy trilogy. I have read many high school bully romances in my time but boy did this one have me sweating. Also cliffhanger has got me saying WHEN IS THE NEXT ONE?!
I didn't get to read just one, nor two books - I was given THREE books each one better then the last. It was enemies to lover trope in full glory. I want more!
Thank you NetGalley and author Daniela Romero for the copy in exchange for an honest review.
"Never cross a Devil ... Sun Valley High is run by the Devils. It's not just their mascot, it's the crew of guys who are high school royalty. Wicked. Savage. Cruel.
When they target someone, no one stands in their way. And the three young women who find themselves in the Devils' path are about to find that out."
I love this book. I devoured it.
Thank you to the author and NetGalley for giving me an advanced copy of this book. I absolutely loved this book. The main character in the 1st book was kinda annoying but she gets better. All the guys in these books are totally hotties. This was a very enjoyable experience and I want to read more from this author.

Spanning multiple books, each installment delves deeper into the interconnected lives of its protagonists, weaving together a rich tapestry of passion, heartache, and growth. Romero's writing is raw and emotionally resonant, drawing readers into the innermost thoughts and desires of her characters while expertly balancing steamy romance with poignant moments of introspection. With its compelling storytelling and authentic portrayal of human relationships, the "Wicked Savage Cruel" series is a must-read for fans of contemporary romance seeking a deeply satisfying and unforgettable reading experience.
Love this world that Daniela Romero has created!! These guys and their girls are so so addictive, I could reread their stories over and over and NEVER get tired of them!!! Loved Roberto’s short at the end too!!
Wicked Savage Cruel is a fabulous high school romance collection. This Daniela Romero boxed set of books is gripping, emotional, and swoony. I loved every second of this book.
The stories are each amazing, with different couples for each story. But rest assures, that everything intertwines as the three guys are best friends.
I don't think I've read a book by this author that I don't love. The writing style always pulls me in, with an alternating first person pov, which is my favorite style. But the characters and the storylines keep me turning the pages as fast as I can. Omg, just read them. The ups and downs, the gut wrenching moments, the swoony moments, etc. I love it all.
Definitely check out the trigger warnings though.
These were really good, BUT, I don't understand why it ended in a cliffhanger. It was super irritating to get to the end and it wasn't THE END.
That being said, I liked the push and pull between Dom and Kasey, but I LOVED Emilio.
Great trilogy. Love the characters. The flow of the book was good and there were no flat spots to it. I like high school bully romances so this was right up my alley.
I really enjoyed this collection of books. I went into expecting the usual academic bully type stories but all of these are more than surface level stories. They delve into nitty gritty life scenarios and if you have any triggers definately check the warnings. I loved that they went deeper though and although it can be hard to read about these things it gave the stories more depth and made you delve into feelings a bit more. I would recommend these stories, I'll definately be reading the next part to Kasey and Dom's story.
Wicked Savage Cruel: Devils of Sun Valley High is a box set of three books - Wicked Devil, Savage Devil and Cruel Devil.
Wicked Devil is the story of Roman and Allie. Allie has lost her mother, found out her boyfriend has been cheating on her with her best friend, and has to move to live with her father, whom she has never really known. Life has completely turned on her and she can't seem to catch a break. Then she meets Roman, and the chemistry is off the charts. He is all alpha and she doesn't need a man to fix her life, but the two end up finding a balance.
Savage Devil is the story of Bibiana and Emilio. After one wild night of letting her hair down and be someone besides the good girl who does what she is told. One night comes with an expected surprise, and she's now the mom to a sweet baby boy. She transfers to Sun Valley High to finish her diploma and runs smack into her baby daddy. The two navigate co-parenting and their relationship, and the results are perfection.
Cruel Devil is the story of Dom and Kasey. This relationship is hinted at throughout the first two books, and I was so happy that book three was theirs! These two are the perfect example of enemies to lovers, and a thin line between love and hate. Dom is there for Kasey during one of the worst moments of her life. The two start to recognize their feelings for each other, but agree that keeping it a discreet is best for them, and her brother.
I loved this series. I tore through it in a couple of days, and want more of the Sun Valley Devils.
Thanks to NetGalley and the author for an advanced eARC in exhange for an honest review.
Definitely a dark YA romance and for three books in one it manages to capture a whole slew of dark triggering themes, such as rape, teen pregnancy, drugs etc and whislt it is set in high school these teenagers are essentially adults, whether it be the experiences on page or their life as set out for the plot so it can be difficult to relate or believe these people are so young and dealing with so much.
The 'football gods' of this trio of books are portrayed as young men with more than just a mean streak but eventually we see their softer side.
Enjoyable enough to read but not a series that I would deem my favourite genre.
3 stars - Wicked
4 stars - Savage
3 stars Cruel
I received this as an ARC in exhcange for an honest review
Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for this arc. I really enjoyed this book. It combined three books into one. There was only one that I dragged a little but other than that sorry, I found this one great to read. It does have some dark themes and could be triggering for some readers.
All three of the stories were good, but Savage was my favorite because of the chemistry and humor between Mia and Jax as well as their emotional journey. In particular, the other Devils and their girlfriends brought fun and support to the main couples, which is why I really liked the supporting characters. The conflicts and resolutions felt a little hurried and convenient at times, and there were a few places where I would have like more nuance and complexity. That is the only thing I didn't enjoy. Overall though, I thought this was an entertaining and interesting read, and fans of bully romance and sports romance should definitely give it a try.
