I feel like this book is perfect for the state our world is in now. I can not wait to read the rest of this series and see where it goes!

This book is great for those who love Sci-Fi books that are futuristic, focused on politics and religion, with multiple POVs. There is also a little bit of romance and other relationships throughout the book. We are introduced to several groups of people as well as factions that support the plot of the book.

The concept of this book is very interesting to me. While I was excited about the idea of a plot about parallel timelines of Earth, highly-trained assassins, sprinkled with a bit of romance, I felt it difficult to follow along with the story at times and the dialogue to be somewhat confusing. The banter and conversation between Mithany and Arek felt off to me, what truly is the nature of their relationship? (Maybe there's more to it than we understand? Not sure). I also felt that the paragraphs were too long and repetitive. One concept would be covered in a paragraph, then seemingly rephrased and rewritten in the next. It made it difficult to keep my attention.

I'm curious what decisions Reyne will make from now on, and what becomes of Tomelai's decisions. I feel that each of these characters have a lot more to tell, and am sure we will discover so much more in the next installment of this Saga.

Thank you to Netgalley, the author, and publishing company for a copy of this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

With the destruction of Earth, a utopian society has been built, Tartica, with possibility of not being a utopian liked desired the people go on missions to kill the people who threaten the peace. But is it really peace that is trying to be maintained? Reyne life is simple as a peanut famer and only wishes to marry Mithany but his life is suddenly thrown into chaos. This chaos shakes up every else close to him, all trying to keep him and themselves safe. All because he has the power to jump between realms, a power he didn’t even know he had.

“Utopia Falling” by R.C. Vielee is a super-fast paced book. I gave it a 3 out of 5 because the number of characters and POV’s while kept the story quick was too much for me to learn and really get into. I would have liked it better if you got to know each character at a slower pace. The cover art is very nice though and drew me to read the book.
