This book talks about feelings, and how everyone has them. The little girl believes even Nana's nesting dolls need to have more feelings than just happy. One day when Nana isn't looking, the little girl decides to change their faces with marker. One is sad/mad, the other happy, etc. Nana is not happy when she sees what her granddaughter did. She finally really looks at them closely after the little girl said that if she were the dolls, they would all have different feelings. Nana decides she loves them, but told the granddaughter to ask next time!
What a great book talking about feelings and asking permission!

It was fine. Nothing exciting, I wanted more about the child and her expressions. The drawing on the dolls was cute but overall nothing terribly exciting.
I thought this book was a great read and definitely celebrates diversity in children. I think it will be very popular in my library! I will be recommending this book to my patrons!
All The Faces Of Me is a charming book, showing that people should not be defined by one expression or personality, as everyone experiences many different emotions every day. This is what makes us who we are, and it should be celebrated. A fun and creative book, All The Faces Of Me provides a unique way of displaying an array of emotions and expressions that each person should embrace. Through the nesting dolls, the main character is able to emulate her emotions onto them. The illustrations are lively, and even the cat begins to change its expressions as the pages turn. Laura Alary captures lightning in a bottle. A must read!
