Thank you to NetGalley and IzePress/Yen Press for the E-book!
I was not expecting to be on edge the whole time I was reading this. Reading the synopsis of this series, I expected it to be about two kids navigating the world. However, I didn't expect it to take place during a war where survival is a top priority. When I finished this volume, I was left feeling unsure about where the plot will go. Which is not a terrible thing but now I am anxiously awaiting volume two. I recommend going into this with no expectations in order to grasp the tone of the story.

💧 Thoughts 💧
I'm so excited that this webtoon is getting a physical English copy because this webtoon really got me tearing up. The art work is very unique and it really portrays the tragedy of war. The short dialogue exchange between the boy and the girl and the webtoon not containing a lot of sentences really enhanced the emotional element to this manhwa. I finished this in one sitting and I am excited to read volume 2!
