Rea Frey writes good domestic suspense novels and "Don't Forget Me" was no exception. It started strong, kept me on my toes, and had a great twist. Recommended for mystery/suspense lovers. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
Thank you, NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for the copy of Don’t Forget Me by Rea Frey. I have loved Frey’s domestic suspense novels so I was excited to read this thriller. I loved how it started with a bang, and the writing kept me engaged. The addition of the social media forum and the Murderlings added some levity to an otherwise serious book about some really tough subjects - the abuse was really hard to read about. The shocking reveal was unanticipated but made perfect sense. If you’re looking for a book that will really keep you reading, this is it! #DontForgetMe
I READ THIS BOOK IN ONE DAY. OH MY GOSH. I AM SPEECHLESS, STUNNED REALLY.
It was incredible. The writing incredible. The story line incredible. The ending incredible. I don't know how I ever lived my live without this book and I am seriously not being dramatic. One of the best I have read in a long time. 1000/10. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. I cant wait to read more stories from this author and I am so sad knowing I hadnt come across her books sooner.
I would give my left leg to reread this book again for the first time. Just incredible.
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Rea Frey for allowing me to read this book. I am planning to shout my admirations from the rooftops!
I received this book as an ARC via Netgalley.
I was easily “hooked” wanting to know what happens next. The story moves along at a good clip as the plot thickens and twists.
I love that this book is written in the “then” & “now” chapter style.
Fast paced…never a dull moment.
Left me guessing “who did it”…plot twists kept me engaged and wanting more.
I don’t want this story to end…I’m thinking a sequel?
Good book! This book had a bit of everything! It had suspense, Action, intrigue, mystery, revenge, murder, serial killer, great plot twist, and some crazy twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my Kindle! I definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
It's pretty hard to find a novel plot in the vast forest that is the "something weird going on in a quiet neighborhood" thriller sub-genre, but this book comes through - kudos for the interesting twist.
One of the most excellent books I have read so far this year. This is a book I recommend to everybody. The writing and storyline were both excellent. This book was so amazing that I literally finished it in less than three hours.
Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas & Mercer for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
How do you not recognize your own husband's body? Kinda makes you sound guilty, right? That's what I thought too, until the end. Great book, highly recommend. Thank you to Netgalley and the author for allowing me to read this book.
The book was amazing. I read it in one day!
I love the characters and the plot. Lots of twists to the story .
When Ruby goes on her usual early morning row, she has no idea how this just might have been a good morning to sleep late. Her new house in Cottage Grove seems like the kind of community were nothing bad ever happens. Sure, Ruby spent many years working as an ER nurse, but finding a dead body so close to home is not the way she envisioned her day to begin.
Holy Cottage Grove residents! I’m not sure if I could handle knowing what was going on behind all those closed doors. Just being in Ruby’s world was more than enough. Let’s see there was murder, lies, more lies, a forum for the nosy neighbors, betrayal, more lies, and more secrets than this lovely lake could hold.
I had this one figured out, even if I wasn’t part of the neighborhood Murderlings Club. Did I win a prize? Absolutely not! I picked the wrong person and kicked myself when the author revealed whodunnit and why. I should have realized my fatal mistake. This book just kept me flipping pages and the more secrets I uncovered, the more I had to keep reading.
